I've had one of the best halal burger ever from here! I visited from NY and came here based on a recommendation from a friend. I ordered the avocado burger with a fried egg and my husband ordered the chicken jalapeno burger with a side order of fries. The wait was not too long and when the order came, the aroma from the food was mouthwatering. The fries are seasoned not just with salt but it had a kick to it. Not sure if it is masala, but it is perfectly salted which such a satisfying kick. My burger which had an avocado and a fried egg was a match made in heaven. This is what comfort food should be about. I would recommend you to come during a time when it is not busy (try lunch-time on a weekday) because it gets crazy busy in the evening. read more

I've been here a few times and the food was pretty good. This time, however, I placed the order on the internet and they messed it up. My wife picked up the order and they left off the fries and a few of the items I added on the burger. It was impossible to see the missing items unless you took a bite because the burger was basically fused together by the cheese. I called them and they said that they'll give a refund on those items or I can come pick it up again at the restaurant. I asked if they can just credit my card and he said he can only give me cash, which translates to about $3. This place is about 20 minutes from my house and it's not worth the time. He mentioned a couple people who may be able to help, but didn't give me the numbers and wanted me to call the other locations. They should have taken some accountability and made the process a little easier for the customer. Just not happy about how they handled it. On another note, while the burger was good minus the missing add ons, the cayenne chicken was terrible. The chicken tasted processed and it looked like they just dumped a ton of cayenne pepper on it. I love spicy food, but it needs to have flavor. I think there are a lot of good burger places in town, and I'll go elsewhere. read more

I wish I could give this place more stars, because there's a lot of things they do right. For example, the prices are excellent. Most burgers are 6-8 bucks and they're pretty big too. There's a huge variety of burgers too (house burger is my favorite by far). They also have chicken burgers which are actually REALLY good. I usually never opt for grilled chicken options at burger places, but this place does them right. Very juicy chicken. The French fries are some of the best I've had at a burger joint. Perfect crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Unfortunately, this place suffers from a huge, major flaw: the burger itself. The beef patties on the last few occasions have been on the smaller side and have been quite dry. It sucks because the rest of the burger is usually good, but it just falls so short when the meat is lackluster. It's enough to knock this place down to 3 stars for me, cuz its the one thing they should be doing right. I've also tried the philly cheese steak, and it was disappointing. They skimp on the meat and load up on the mayo. Makes it feel like you're eating a mayo sandwich. Of note, the location in Richardson seems to be way better in all regards, and my experiences there have been much better. Plano needs to step up its game maybe? I am familiar with Olive Burger because there is one in Richardson, although there was a fire and it shut down for a while. The burgers were great there, so I optimistically visited this new store hoping this was similar. It is! The burgers are great, you can tell they're made with fresh meat and definitely not frozen premade patties. Their Turkish DönerChicken Shavarma was good but average. The wait time for your food is a little longer than I like but otherwise, for a hamburger, it beats the other higher end places around Plano/Frisco. Not a fan of the Pepsi products but they do have bottled water, iced teas and other labeled drinks for purchase. read more

Not sure how this place has such positive reviews. The young guy who assisted me at the register was less than impressed when I explained that this was my first visit. Ordered a cheese burger all-the-way and cooked medium. It took about 10 minutes for my order to be prepared. I was surprised that the lettuce was brown/yellow shredded iceberg, unlike the leaf lettuce shown on their menu and website. I scrapped that off, added mayo and mustard, only to discover the meat was cooked beyond well-done. Almost $10 for a burger with drink and it was inedible! Don't waste your time or money, when Whataburger, Wendy's, or McDonald's offer better options. read more

Really good burgers! So far have tried the house cheese burger & the jalepeno cheese burger. Chicken philly steak is phenomenal; Fried pickles are great; Chili cheese fries are the best I've had. Even their regular fries are pretty tasty. Also, the buns don't get soggy by the time you take your food home. Place is clean, great customer service. New experience tonight in Plano! Passed by forever but decided to stop first time ever, pleasant surprise! My son ordered Caesar salad wrap while I had a mushroom burger with fries. The wrap was very good abs the burger was huge. Asked to cook the meat medium well, done! I could not finish the fries since the burger was steaming hot! Same for fries too! I refuse to get chocolate shakes anywhere else in Plano now. I can say endless things about their food and staff and the speed they get their to go orders done when ordering online but those shakes are LIFE. My husband and I get one each every single time we do, life changing smooth. Get one you won't be sorry but all of the other chocolate shake providers in Plano will be because I've never had better. We heard rave reviews about this place. We came here for dinner one evening. My husband and I both ordered a cheeseburger. The burgers were average and not exceptionally hot though. The part that we were disappointed in was the slice of cold unmelted PROCESSED cheese in top of the meat. NASTY! Who puts processed cheese on burgers in a restaurant?! I was visiting Plano area few days back for work and was looking to try Halal places. Came across Olive burger and had to try it. I have to say this is the best Halal burger place I have tried in USA. They had halal beef bacon for the burger, jalapenos and the beef patties are never frozen almost like elevation burger. How cool is that? I wish there was a branch in San Antonio, whenever I visit Dallas area next time this place is a must stop. The stop was super nice, the food took a little time but with fresh food I am willing to wait. Highly recommended 5 star plus! read more
