Not getting this at McDonald's or Burger King. 5 stars baby!

Since 1973... family owned and operated. Support local small businesses and families! Talk about nostalgia... this place brings me back. We used to to bring our customers here for lunch in the 2000s. It was an easy drive over from what was Telecom Corridor in Richardson/ Plano. Big tech now we call it all. Any hoo... get your butt over here. Love the remodel and happy to see this place not only standing however updated. Nice outdoor picnic area with lights and umbrellas. Let's talk about the food... first of all they grew their own tea. IYKYK!!! They also have lemonade by the tea... yup! Go on with ya bad self. Ordered the bacon. Cheeseburger and onion rings. Ranch. These are the burgers I think about when I moved to Washington state for work. Good luck finding one like this. Meat quality. Bun.

As much as I'm all for supporting locals and old-school burgers, my experience at Country Burger was a disappointment. I had so many high hopes from all the positive reviews, but it did not go well with my taste buds. We came on a weekday lunch, and the place had a good amount of customers. The interior is classic and I love all the plants and natural lighting. The menu is right by the register, so you can look and order. The service here was pretty good, but that doesn't mean the food was to my standard. Burgers were around $10-15 each, depending on which one you're getting. We got a combo with fries and a drink, and I got extra fries on the side; the total came to around $18. The food took about 10 mins to come out, and it looks just like your classic old-school style burgers. When I took my first bite, I was so disappointed in how dry and tasteless the patty was. There was no seasoning whatsoever, just plain beef. The burger was flipped backward when they wrapped it so I thought that was confusing. The burger was big and definitely worth the price, but I couldn't believe how plain this burger was. Not even ketchup can help add some flavor to the burger. I'm a fan of classic burgers and tried many spots throughout Dallas, but this one was a disappointment. My friend couldn't even finish his burger because it was just so tasteless. Their fries were crispy and good, but I was expecting more flavors for the burgers. I wouldn't visit again since I have other favorite classic burger spots in the area and the burgers are a couple of dollars cheaper there as well.

Pepperjack burger, minus a test bite, LOL

We pulled up at the place next door, saw a family-owned tag on a burger joint, and had to try it. The pepper jack burger is fire. It will feel like your mouth is ablaze, but it hurts so good. The service was simple and polite, like you would reasonably expect. The bad reviews seem to focus on the plain burger which is...plain. Stick to the specialty burgers and enjoy yourself. Dope spot!

Back after many years. As I wrote there is a lot of competition in Collin county for burgers. Posted some new photos of weekend lunch hr. Great burgers and sweet potato fries.

So I have lived near this place for 2 years. A lil hesitant since it looked a lil ragged but I bit the bullet. I got the double double combo and it was pretty darn good. I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. Good tasting fresh burger and the fries are great. The milkshake was okay too.

This place serves one of the best burgers around no bs and trust me, I've eaten almost every place around in Richardson / Plano Tx and a lot of places around here don't take pride in food. Five stars Country Burger

I've only been here at lunch time and can say even when they're busy the service is quick. The grilled chicken salad is my favorite!

A little pricey, $18 for a bacon cheeseburger with bacon cheese fries and a large drink but well worth it.

But, they have outside seating, so we took advantage of that. We ordered an assortment of baked goods: homemade pop tarts, a savory bacon and cheese scone, olive oil and lemon cake with vanilla icing, and a cheese danish. Service was great. There was a short line and we were waited on by a friendly and attentive staff member. The inside of the store is packed with food, drinks, and baked goods. There are also frozen ice cream sandwiches which are served inside of macarons. There is a wall of drinks and large counters of baked goods. We loved our cakes, scones, pop tarts, and danish. Each was delicious in its own right and flaky golden brown. The flavors popped and we had a hard time leaving some to bring home. This is a definite must try cafe. I can't wait to go back. They offer a pretty good selection of salads, like Greek, Thai, Cobb, Caesar, and Ranch, as well as dressings of your choice. I like their Thai salad, which has cucumber slices, shredded carrots, romaine lettuce, and red cabbage. They are all very fresh. The dressing is actually what I like the most. It's peanuty, spicy but not too strong, with a subtle tangy and sour note. For my protein option, I've tried their chicken and tofu. The chicken is fine. I like the tofu better though, which is moist, tender, and savory. They also offer seasonal lemonade drink. I've had their cucumber mint lemonade, which is super refreshing especially on a hot Texas summer day! The service is fast. I was there one time during the peak lunch hour. The vehicle line was long, but it moved pretty quick. Give it a try if you want a quality salad at a great price!

First off, service was super attentive the whole night, even when the restaurant started getting pretty busy during the dinner rush. We were served complementary salad, dip, and bread and our water cups never ran dry! The bread was also super fresh and warm and fluffy, which paired perfectly with the hummus and other dishes we ordered. My favorite savory bite of the night was definitely the cag kebab. The lamb was so tender and not gamey at all, and the meat was also grilled to order! It ended up more medium than the medium rare we asked for but still super delicious. I enjoyed eating it as a wrap with the flatbread, and the accompanying onions and tomatoes were super refreshing. The chicken kabob was dry for our tastes and the fries weren't super crispy, but we really loved the savory rice on the side. And the big surprise of the night was how much we all enjoyed the beef iskender! It came in this great tomato sauce that paired well with the cup of yogurt that came on the side. We finished with a couple of desserts that were both delicious and not too sweet. Complementary black tea came out first with sugar cubes for sweetening, and then we got the rice pudding and the Turkish custard. The rice pudding was creamy but not too heavy, and the Turkish custard was super thick and really delicious. I'd never had this dish before but we all agreed we would definitely order it again. Really excellent meal here and I think we were one of only two tables that weren't of Persian descent in the restaurant, which speaks for the satisfying nature of the food. Looking forward to coming back to try other things on the menu, and for the cag kebab!
