Add gravy, (hearty yet good) trying the country fried chicken next time, burger maybe 5 just ok nothing memorable, little patty light cheese. Root beer was flat, so went with a mixture of power aid and sprite, cool old school country look and truck in front, lack of star for the lack of music, and not best food, could hear the cooks talking instead of entertainment and consumer was definitely an older quiet Texas crowd, makes sense with the atmosphere but at least put on some light volume country music. One of my first meals was a Country Burger Chili Cheeseburger! I am happy to report over 40 years later,that Delicious creation is still being served. I can't be the only one who likes country burger or is it me myself? Walked in got in line to order was greeted immediately. What's wrong with not being greeted doesn't matter to me I never really get greeted all the time with my family but I guess whatever .I ordered the bacon jack burger, or something like that. I specifically said to the order taker to put only spicy mayo, cheese and bacon put everything on there they put they put everything on there and not what I had just asked went up to the counter to get a new burger, but they said they can't help me and I love the inside of all the decorations on top of those shelves had small tables that we had to move everything aside just to fit our food. It was an easy drive over from what was Telecom Corridor in Richardson/ Plano. Big tech now we call it all. Any hoo... get your butt over here. As much as I'm all for supporting locals and old-school burgers, my experience at Country Burger was a disappointment. I had so many high hopes from all the positive reviews, but it did not go well with my taste buds. We came on a weekday lunch, and the place had a good amount of customers. The interior is classic and I love all the plants and natural lighting. The menu is right by the register, so you can look and order. The service here was pretty good, but that doesn't mean the food was to my standard. Burgers were around $10-15 each, depending on which one you're getting. We got a combo with fries and a drink, and I got extra fries on the side; the total came to around $18. The food took about 10 mins to come out, and it looks just like your classic old-school style burgers. When I took my first bite, I was so disappointed in how dry and tasteless the patty was. There was no seasoning whatsoever, just plain beef. The burger was flipped backward when they wrapped it so I thought that was confusing. The burger was big and definitely worth the price, but I couldn't believe how plain this burger was. Not even ketchup can help add some flavor to the burger. I'm a fan of classic burgers and tried many spots throughout Dallas, but this one was a disappointment. My friend couldn't even finish his burger because it was just so tasteless. Their fries were crispy and good, but I was expecting more flavors for the burgers. We pulled up at the place next door, saw a family-owned tag on a burger joint, and had to try it. The pepper jack burger is fire. It will feel like your mouth is ablaze, but it hurts so good. The service was simple and polite, like you would reasonably expect. The bad reviews seem to focus on the plain burger which is...plain. Stick to the specialty burgers and enjoy yourself. we ordered two burger combos(one was a jr combo) and fried pickles. Then we were given two burgers and the fried pickles, no fries. went back up to the counter to say they forgot our fries and they said they thought we meant to substitute the pickles instead of fries. $33 for a burger, jr burger and pickles? what a joke! They tried to brush us off and said we ordered wrong. I pointed out that the math didn't math. Beware, they short you on your food and then try to gaslight you about it. they did eventually bring us one order of fries and said they'd give us for free. wow, even trying to correct the problem they still blamed us for ordering wrong. athe food was not worth the money at all. get a receipt if you go there, otherwise they'll say you ordered wrong if they screw up. read more

After years of hearing my coworkers insist that Country Burger is home of the Best Burger in the World (insert angels singing here) I finally gave in and tried it. It was most certainly a good burger. Best in the World? That's for you to decide. These burgers don't play. 1/3 lb. is just too much meat for anyone watching their girlish figure. Good thing for me they offer a much more reasonable Jr. burger for a buck less. You can pretty much customize your burger any way you'd like, adding this and subtracting that. The toppings are fresh and cold, just as they should be so they compliment the hot patty. My favorite combo. Since I'm saving so many calories on the burger, I can add a small order of onion rings for zero calories. Really but not really. They're my favorite onion rings, all crunchy and shiz. It sounds like a trivial preference until you get a hold of some floppy, smooth batter onion rings that are gooey in the middle. Blech. Family dinner night. We arrived to an empty parking lot at 5:30p on a Friday. I thought we beat the crowd.. but no, the crowd already knew what I was about to find out. This place just isn't any good; our food was disgusting, I mean don't get me wrong, it's a burger joint... But my burger was more grease than burger. My kiddo had a corn dog that was burnt on the outside and not cooked on the inside. The fries were undercooked, microwaved, and partially raw. The veggies weren't fresh.
