We ordered the Beef Pockets and the Tex-Mex Press Chicken Shawarma (11"), but the food didn't really live up to our expectations. The beef was pretty dry and didn't have much filling or sauce, which made it feel a bit bland. The Tex-Mex wrap was okay, but it barely had any chicken in it. This spot is located inside Walmart, and unfortunately, the order kiosk wasn't working when we went, which made the experience a little more frustrating. The newest addition to a rapidly growing chain of halal shawarma restaurants, this location is conveniently located inside the Walmart where the many diverse shoppers can enjoy a more unique meal than they're likely to find even during their daily going abouts. This is the American mixing pot at it's best. I've been going since their soft opening and I must say, their service certainly stands out. There's an older gentleman running the shop as well as a young lady assisting him, and they were both very knowledgeable, cordial and accommodating. Their menu at this location differs slightly in specials, sides, portions, etc but they were more than willing to work with me so I could enjoy the same delicious fare I was used to. It wasn't any more hair off their back but it certainly made me feel well. The food here is the same consistent, flavorful yet deceivingly simple affair as you'll get at the Irving location. It certainly comes at a premium, however do remember that this is halal meat, namely that it is humane, organic and chemical free; despite operating closer to a fast food setup than a specialty eatery, the quality remains. It's more than I expected and near enough as much as one could ask for. Through and through, this is the best showing any halal restaurant could have when beginning their expansion into the general market. I can't say if they have the traction yet to keep going in these trying times, but I would certainly recommend trying them if you have the time and pennies to spend here. read more

This is located within the Walmart on the crossing of Spring Creek Pkwy and N Central Expressway. As we were entering Walmart a gentleman was offering samples and we were thinking about where to get lunch and decided to get something from this place after we did our shopping. Not a bad decision! The restaurant offers Shawarma (Chicken & Beef) and Falafel with various options, like wraps, bowls, etc. The bowls come in two sizes and four different styles. We took one small bowl of Chicken over Rice with salad and one small bowl of Chicken over Fries. Yes, not healthy but tasty as hell. You have a choice of 5 different sauces! We opted for the Tahini sauce on the Rice bowl and the Garlic sauce on the other. The food has good flavors without getting overwhelming. The salad is fresh and the Fries bowl comes with cheese. Tip: if you are taking the Fries, bowl to go, microwave it for 30 seconds, and let the cheese melt a bit! While you are there do not miss out on the Baklava bites, a set of two mini Baklavas! The restaurant has a very lively modern decor and is managed by a very warm and courteous gentleman. Our visit to Walmart will not be complete without a visit to this restaurant. read more

The young man working at the counter claimed someone had picked up our online order 5min ago when we had the receipt and order confirmation too. When asked what name that person said when he picked up our order he said "your name" and couldn't even tell us what name it was under. He hesitated for another 5 minutes until a man in the back told him to remake it. Then when asking for the sauces that we PAID FOR on the side, he said "to be honest these are 50 cents each" if he had even saw our order he would know that we paid for those sides. I think he lied about someone picking up our order so he wouldn't have to make it. The food here tastes good which is the only reason I'm willing to deal with the terrible service. read more

Yummy! Looks can be deceiving. It's inside the Walmart, but the customer service here is great and their food is delicious, extra plus for being affordable which is hard to come by these days. I've never been able to eat at Mcdonalds that used to be there b/c I'm vegetarian, good falafel wraps. The yogurt w/ cucumber is the best I've had so far.
