This a nice restaurant, very clean and well staffed. I had the chicken avocado sandwich with sweet potatoes fries. It was a very good size for the grilled chicken and the fries are some of the best I had sweet potatoes fries are usually soggy but the ones at this place are crunchy and delicious. Went there one day for lunch. Service was unattentive and the employees were rude and impatient. Also I found out that their burgers are not fresh. Have been there twice - first when they were near i-75 and this weekend at their new location on Custer and Parker. We had Jalapeño cheese burgers, chili burger, ultimate chicken burger and onion rings. Everything tasted good. Place was packed like the first time. They have improved in technology and tried to modernize the new location, but service is still slow. They need to work on speedy food service (20 + minutes for burgers is a little too long). I like to go there because they serve halal meat, patties are fresh, and food taste is good. French fries and onion rings come separate but definitely to crave for. read more

Tried Olive Burger out last week for lunch and the service was pretty fast and very pleasant! I had a turkey burger and onion rings. They were both really good! They have little containers of olives at the front and with your order. I wasn't expecting that and thought it was pretty neat. The meat is fresh not frozen, 1/2 lb burger, the staff was pleasant, the facility was clean including the bathroom. We found the one in Plano and was equally pleased with our order. My husband loves burgers and has been to every burger place in the city. My husband and I recently got take out from here. I had the olive burger, rare, and subbed feta. He had the chicken schwarma. We were feeling indulgent and also got an order each of fries, okra, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. Everything was quite tasty! The burger was maybe a bit closer to med-rare, but was delicious. I went for the first time about a month ago and the food was pretty good. I ordered a cheeseburger with the regular/seasoned fries, both very tasty and modest size. Excellent for what it is! Kind of has a simple vibe inside. I don't remember what I got but I think it was their classic burger or something- which was delicious. My fiancé got a chili burger which was giant and it came with a fork because of that. He liked it a lot. We also got the sweet potato fried which were really good and the right amount of crispy. Most Desis will have nothing but praise for Olive burger. Unfortunately most Desis do not know their meat quality, nor their burgers. Olive burger scorches their meat patties to the point that you can no longer taste the meat, just the charred residue. We all know that burnt meat and residue from the grill contains cancer causing carcinogens. Take your money to Jimmies burgers where you actually taste the meat and herbs. Driven by many times and today decided to try it out. Came in at about 3:30 pm. Three staff members were sitting on curb outside on break as I entered. I felt this was a little awkward passing through a crowd huddled outside the door. I was obviously on an off hour with only two tables seated. I told the man at the register it was my first time and what I was interested in. Decided on a bacon cheese burger with grilled onions. He did inform me the bacon was beef which is fine with me. He also recommended the fries. I paid with a card and left a dollar tip for his helpfulness. I sat and waited and my buzzer let me know my food was ready. I sat and grabbed the burger for the first bite and instantly felt the bun was hard and stale like it had been left out of the bag overnight. It was toasted, but also felt very rigid. Like the bread people feed to the ducks at the park. The burger was ok and tasty. Everything made the way I ordered it. Fries and requested dipping ranch were awesome! Crispy seasoned and hot. Being that it was very slow, I thought an employee might ask how my meal was, but they were all busy looking at their cellphones during my meal. One employee did decide to grab a broom and sweep under my table and the table next to me all of a sudden making me have to lean out of his way because his backside was pressing into my shoulder. He then sat down after these two tables. Did that need to happen right that moment? I finished, threw my trash away and got a quick refill at the water machine. I stood there for another 30 seconds getting a last drink of water with no acknowledgement from anyone or a "thanks for coming in." All in all. Food was decent. Service was get it yourself. Food was really good. This place is very popular and Friday nights is extremely busy. I would suggest the management that when the restaurant is busy they should avoid answering phone calls or have another person attend phone calls. Customers at the restaurant should have priority from thr customers on the phone at least in most circumstances. read more
