Easily one my of favorite restaurants. I go here or order online for delivery multiple times a month, every month. You can technically get 3 meals for under $30 when you order for delivery. I order the spaghetti with meat sauce and get a second one for $6. Those are both for me. One right away and one for the next day. Plus it comes with soup or salad. I get either/or for my dad. My dad is newly obsessed with the Minestrone soup. He says it's the best soup he's ever had. Their spaghetti with meat sauce is probably the only restaurant spaghetti I actually like. I've tried many other places and none of it is good. The employees at this location or great and I don't think I've ever had a complaint in the over 30 years I've been coming here. We visited around midday on a Sunday and were seated within five minutes. The host was friendly, and our waitress took our drink order quickly. Service was fast overall, although I felt like our waitress was rushing us. She didn't write anything down but only made one mistake with our order. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and had a pleasant atmosphere. We started with the Pasta e Fagioli and Chicken & Gnocchi soups, which were hot, fresh, and very good. Unfortunately, all three of our entrées, which included grilled chicken breast, were extremely salty. As someone who has eaten at several Olive Garden locations, I felt the food quality and freshness at this location fell below the usual standard. We came here after hubby's procedure to dine for dinner. We were quickly taken to a table. While had to excuse himself, the server came to bring us menus. I asked for waters while we look over the menus. Hubby ordered the unlimited soup and salad and breadsticks, while I tried something new, the Calabrian steak and shrimp Bucatini. We were able to dine in peace when our soups, salad and breadsticks were served. By the time hubby got his 2nd bowl, my meal was served. Then a family of 4 was seated next to us and the sleepy toddler started to have a fit. Which made it hard to enjoy our evening. I am a total sucker for Olive Garden's Endless Pasta Bowl promotion and had not enjoyed it in several years, so I decided to give it another go after a seven mile morning run. If there was ever a day to gorge on carbs, this was it. We arrived a little before noon and the place was already buzzing, but our table for two was seated almost immediately which was a relief since we were starving. The endless pasta bowl is a simple concept that works well. For fourteen dollars you get unlimited pasta styles that you can mix and match with different sauces along with your choice of soup or salad and breadsticks. For five dollars more you can add proteins including meatballs, breaded chicken, or an Italian sausage link. My wife and I both opted for the protein add on and their classic salad. Our waitress was an absolute rockstar from start to finish. She understood the assignment completely and kept the pasta coming without hesitation. Between the two of us we tried seven different pasta and sauce combinations. We both agreed that the five cheese marinara paired with rigatoni was the clear winner. The proteins were fine, but honestly we could have skipped them since they sometimes distracted from the pasta which is the real star of the show. One tip for anyone planning to take full advantage. Your first bowl is the larger dinner portion. Refills are lunch sized, so make sure to order your favorite combination first and then experiment from there. I have not been to an Olive Garden in a while but with some strong cravings for the never ending pasta, decided to come for a visit. Upon entering, the manager and hostess was up front to greet us and promptly seat us. Once seated Kayla our waitress came right away and she promptly took our drink order and gave us some time to decide our dish. Kayla was prompt and provided amazing service during our visit! She was also very engaged with us as well as the other customers. Food wise, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the best sauce was the five cheese sauce with rigatoni. I also opted for the toppings and the chicken fritta was the best as I thought the meatball tasted too much freezer burned. I haven't been here in a long time. I forget about the never ending Salad and Breadsticks which are a bonus, they are so delicious. I got the Tour of Italy which consists of Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan and Fettuccini Alfredo, but I substituted the Fettuccini with Spaghetti instead. Unfortunately, they not only raised prices (I am totally ok with that and understand the need) but they also pulled some slick things like charging $11 for a large sauce but you no longer get extra bread sticks. Their food quality has also gone down. The chicken is starting to get too fatty. Do better Olive Garden. Charge more but don't change what draws people there. I thought the service of the staff was terrific at the Olive Garden today when we visited at the one off Perry Hall Boulevard. While the first person we saw, wanted to seat us right next to the front door we asked to be seated somewhere else and she obliged right away. Our server, a young female with the name, Hannah, was a wonderful waitress for us. She brought us out everything we needed right away and was very polite. She had a wonderful attitude and was even jokingly talkative to me and my mother. She brought out the food in a very timely manner and as normal in Olive Garden style fashion asked if we wanted grated cheese on most of our food. The food by the way was excellent. The ambience was in normal Olive Garden style fashion, but there was a change in scenery because of a couple different families that had young children that got loud as expected, but another without their control had a mental disorder and was also loud. I am not mocking or making fun of the person with a mental disorder because they might have been in an accident or have been like that from birth and it's out of their control, people with mental disorders should not be made fun of because you don't know what they've been through in their life; they might have even been a first responder or even a marine that have been injured while on duty. read more

Every now and then we are both in the mood for OG. The salad is the draw-never had a bad 1 there. For a mid afternoon lunch, we were seated immediately. And a wait of 15 min for our server began. At least 4 servers walked right past us, no one stopped by to get the drinks. I asked my husband if we were invisible. Well no team work here. Even if there is another assigned, how difficult is it to take a drink order and say: your server will be right with you. The other servers were in a cluster by the entrance of the kitchen and you could see all the cell phones in use. Our server was on break, he explained that to us, and profusely apologized. He was polite and a good face for the company. What happened to customer service? The restaurant has had the same layout for many years and has no reason to change, it just works. Came on a Friday night and the wait time was around 20 minutes. We ordered the calamari and the lasagna fritta appetizers and the chicken Alfredo and chicken tortelloni Alfredo entrees (which came with breadsticks, salad, and soup). The lasagna fritta came out really hot and it was probably my favorite. The calamari tasted alright but was worth it for the price. Salad was fresh, breadsticks were a bit dry, and the zuppa toscana soup tasted very watery. We were pretty much full by the time our entrees came out so we mostly packed those to go. I opted for soup and salad because I didn't want anything too heavy for an early lunch. My first soup was Zuppa Toscana. Where's the sausage and spice? The broth wasn't creamy. My second soup was Chicken & Gnocchi. It was creamy with more dumplings than chicken. Just lacked seasoning. The soups didn't impress but I enjoyed the salad and great conversation with a friend. Today my husband and I went for lunch and we had the pleasure of having Tay as our server. Tay was hands down the best server I've ever encountered at Olive Garden. I think the biggest problem is the lack of staff, all of them seems to be overworked, and service seems to be a little bit slow and water refill got kind of ignored. I don't know if this was being done on purpose because of the endless pasta promo. Either way it did not make for a good experience. Also it is not like I was ordering an exorbitant amount of pasta. Mind you the place was still full with guest except for the bar which had 4 people at the actual bar and my husband and I in which were seated at the booth. Immediately after being seated the bartender came up to the front and very rudely and loudly told the hosts in the front that she is not serving anymore tables for the night and that they needed to find someone else to help us because she had to clean. A nice server, I can't remember her name but she was blonde volunteered and was very kind after hearing the rude remark from the bartender. She got our drink orders but hearing and seeing the bartender be visibly mad that they were still serving us in her section made my husband and I uncomfortable so we told the nice server Never-mind and left the restaurant. This was probably the worst interaction I've had at an Olive Garden. read more

First of all, if you think you're getting the never-ending soup, salad, breadsticks with your entree, forget it. Right off the bat, we were told soup and salad are NOT never ending anymore. Ok, so much for advertising something not true. Then of course I said at the start I would like to get their famous cheese grater. Our two servers (one in training) both said no problem. So we settled down for my mom's 87th birthday; she personally chose Olive Garden because of the soup and breadsticks. We were a party of nine. So we ordered. I somehow got the feeling our server was giving us some attitude. Service was a little slow, but that was understandable since it was the dinner rush. What was unacceptable was our server chose to ignore my mom's request for more breadsticks, and apparently rolled her eyes at some point. At no point were we offered refills of soup or salad (which was in the checkout survey), but you would at least think breadsticks would be ok. We waited for her to bring the breadsticks but she never did. My nephew said our server thought we were Hispanic (we're not). It shouldn't even matter but apparently it did. Food was actually pretty good, not bad, but not superior either. Just what you would expect from a famous food chain. Most of the restaurants we go to have a nice birthday bit for celebrants. So my mom got her free dessert and a very unenthusiastic song from a seemingly forced group of servers rounded up for the job. I get that they were busy and tired but at least fake the enthusiasm, it's not much to ask. And oh, that grater I ordered from the start? I never got it. I got this spiel how they are out of it now (after asking me at the start how many I wanted). I only wanted one! I was terribly disappointed. It was my first time at Olive Garden by the way, along with two other family members. Suffice it to say, there won't be a next time. My recent visit to Olive Garden was, unfortunately, a disappointing experience, primarily due to the unacceptable behavior of our server, Kaylor. It was supposed to be a celebration for my grandmother's birthday, but the evening was marred by rudeness and a lack of basic courtesy from our server. From the outset, Kaylor was standoffish and unwelcoming. Her demeanor was not what one would expect from a server in a family-friendly restaurant. When we requested more breadsticks, she rolled her eyes, an action of blatant disrespect and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Which is totally unacceptable in any service setting. This experience has left a sour taste, not from the food, but from the service that failed to match even the most basic expectations of politeness and attentiveness. If you see this Kaylor, your "Spanish" words weren't cute or quirky, it was extremely inappropriate, it felt as if she was profiling and making assumptions about my family's ethnicity. Curb appeal is a bit lacking, what with the abandoned Mexican restaurant sharing its parking lot. And having to drive around the mall speedway is a bit of a pain, but I really have no complaints, which is weird because, for reasons, I was under the impression that Olive Garden was an over-rated spot. I haven't been to the Olive Garden since my grandfathers were alive. What is it with old men and Chicken Parmesan? But my mother is a GREAT lover of Italian food and she had several gift cards in her wallet, so we went for lunch. While the breadsticks are noticeably smaller and they no longer have the mushroom ravioli on the menu (that used to be my favorite...), we had a great meal. We had the fried mozzarella (so chewy, with great cheese pull) and shrimp fritto misto (menu describes it as "Over a half pound of shrimp mixed with onions and bell peppers, hand breaded and lightly fried. Served with marinara and spicy ranch." That spicy ranch is delicious and the shrimp is delicious. I did not expect the bell peppers and the onions to be battered, even though it does say that on the menu. So it was like having strange onion straws. I liked it.). Not to mention the unending salad, which is ALWAYS perfect and always exactly the same no matter where you get it. The consistency is mind boggling when you consider the amount of ingredients that go into that salad. Boyfriend was dehydrated so he had this amazing "handcrafted" strawberry passionfruit soda (no free refills) and about twelve glasses of raspberry lemonade (ever-so-good). For our entrees the boyfriend had a steak with Fettuccine Alfredo (steak was overcooked but what do you expect at an Italian place? This isn't a steakhouse). I had angel hair pasta with meat sauce. Mom had eggplant parmesan and I couldn't believe it when she cleaned her whole plate except for one piece of eggplant that she purposely saved so she "would have something to look forward to later." Two tables worth of food for less than what we previously paid for some downright reheated crap from Pizza John's a couple weeks ago. Olive Garden, I'm sorry I thought so lowly about you. I only give it 3 stars because our service wasn't good. Starting with our drink orders. They were out of coke zero, so asked for a Arnold Palmer, they were out of lemonade, finally settled on an unsweet tea. We also ordered a watermelon margarita, and a berry sangria. She brought our regular drinks out and about 10 minutes later brought out a watermelon sangria not the margarita. It ended up being ok, the person who had ordered the watermelon margarita, ended up just keeping the sangria one. We then waited another 15 minutes for our berry sangria. In the mean time we ordered the 5 cheese dipping sauce for the breadsticks and waited 5 minutes for her to come back and tell us they were behind on it. (Not sure what that meant) So we ended up ordering the alfredo dipping sauce. One of us ordered a soup and the first bowl came out right, after she ordered another bowl, but a different kind this round and was brought at the same soup as before. She corrected it when we told her it was the wrong soup. Then brought two of three entrees out. Because apparently the sauce was put on the dish, instead of on the side. We get it on the side because the cream sauce can be to much for one of us. By the time the entree came out we had been there about an hour and a half. The other two people had finished their meals while we finally got ours. We waited 15 minutes to get boxes. We did end up packing our meal and just leaving after speaking to a manager. She took off a couple things. Overall not one of the best experiences here. Our server did apologize. But what was done, was done. She was sweet. But I might pass on this location next time! It's been so long since we've enjoyed Olive Garden. I didn't mind the 45 min wait on a Saturday night. Once seated, we started with the oh so delicious house salad and breadsticks! Very tasty as I remembered. We also tried something new, the toasted ravioli. They were piping hot and absolutely tasty. Never had anything like it! I enjoyed the crispness and the beef filing. We tried the Zuppa Toscana soup for the first time and we will certainly order it every time we come back now! The flavor was great ... spicy Italian sausage, kale, and potatoes. The creamy broth complimented the ingredients every well. For entrees, I kept it classic and enjoyed the Shrimp Alfredo while my husband enjoyed the Tour of Italy. The tour of Italy includes Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna Classico, and Fettuccine Alfredo. Everything, again, was well seasoned, very flavorful, and pleasing on the palate. We'll definitely return. Honestly, I don't know how this place is still open... Not only is the food not authentic, it is just bad. The calamari was bland and had a hard, dense bread coating. The eggplant was poorly seasoned and the pasta over cooked. The offer soup or salad, but the server just brought salad without asking. Slow service, but you can order your appetizers and beverages on the table device before your acknowledged by the server. Ordered items from the kids menu, from the menus they gave us, but they brought out the adult version. The 2nd star is only because it was clean and nobody got sick.
