I know Olive Garden isn't authentic or top shelf Italian food. With that being said ... this has to be the worst Olive Garden I've ever been to. Which I've been to quite a few. First off the grilled chicken I got didn't taste right and I look and it's got pink in it and bright red. Then if you look at my pictures the noodles were hard and looked disgusting I tried to mix it around and that was majority of the noodles. Next I got the spinach and artichoke which is a go to for me. It was salty! Like horribly salty I had to send it back. I ended up drinking the strawberry limoncello margarita and the bread sticks with Alfredo. Which I never got a refill on the Alfredo. Also the waitress asked if I would like to talk to the manager. I said yes and the manager never came just took those two items off my bill, So I'm not sure if it's a new cook or what happened but I won't be going back to this location. read more

I have never had a bad experience at Olive Garden! I had a car side to go order yesterday and it was super easy to order online, pull in and park in reserved spaces, and it is brought out to my car. The meals were properly packed, double checked by staff, and a personal message from the manager on duty guaranteeing that it will be made right if something is wrong(which of course it was all perfect). The food quality and temperature were spot on, and everything we needed was in the bag(utensils, shredded Romano cheese, dressing for salad)! The service was great, on time, and very friendly. My to-go specialist adrien was the goat. He delivered not only the food but, a great attitude towards our delivery order. He made my dying grandfather laugh for the first time in years . We come here regularly and always have a good meal. It's often busy so we try to arrive by 515pm or so to beat the dinner rush. All staff are extremely friendly every time we've ever been there. Restaurant is generally clean. It has been there a long time though. Our drink order was taken right away, and they have a big list of wines and many fun drinks, and of course a full bar. Lots to choose from on the menu...my suggestion is skip the apps and just enjoy salad and bread sticks that come with meal...I've learned I spoil my appetite if I order more than that ...and they do have several good coffee choices and desserts. Once more I tried to get my chicken parmigiana. The last time it was bad, OG gave me a gift card. But once again, I threw my dinner in the garbage. I don't know if it is this location or poor quality control through the company but the food is inconsistent and not worth the time or money. The chicken is bad quality, and the pieces were small, over fried and there was little pasta. Their sauce is not good either. For a long time they did a great job with this but nit anymore. First time visiting Okemos and this location. There was a 10 minute wait on a Wednesday evening. Took more than 10 minutes to get our server to come take our order after being seated. Ordered the stuffed zitti fritta, toasted ravioli, herb grilled salmon, cheese tortelloni Alfredo, and gnocchi soup. Zitti fritta was fried perfectly, and tasted pretty good. Ravioli was not good. It was fried too long, not lightly as stated in the menu and the beef inside was just average. Would be be better with cheese instead. Salmon was cooked well. It was moist and seasoned well with a nice crust. The tortollini was good, and the chicken and sauce was seasoned well. Gnocchi soup was just ok. Strawberry passionfruit limonata and raspberry lemonade were not good. nothing special about it. Definitely not worth the $4+. As far as service goes, all the wait staff was quite pleasant and helpful. They don't seem to read a situation quite the best but it's ok, it could be just trying to let the customer figure things out too. The food also is good enough, solid food that is good to eat. Why this is a low rating is cause for some reason it just smelled like vomit throughout the restaurant. Eww! Also, there is a little bit of communication lacking. They treat you like you know what you're doing but that's not always the case so they don't communicate some things that may be obvious to regulars. The tables are also small for four people with this new tablet on the table. Give the server props for noticing that there is accidental charges. read more

We ordered two take out Italian combo and we got the salads in which they cut up peppers that are too spicy and left one on the side ( I prefer all on the side). The problem was the Fettuccine Alfredo had zero sauce on both orders so we got dry sticky noodles, the bread sticks were tough to eat not warm or at the least soft. The rest of the food was like something you could toss together with bagged cheese, salad, chicken patties with spaghetti. the prices have gone up but the quality of the food has stayed the same. I called and let them know not to do this to the next customer but refuse any gift cerificates since we have no plan of ever returning. I visited Olive Garden for the first time ever and my experience was great. I credit much of which to my server, Eric, a nice guy who is informative of Olive Garden's menu. I order from the "buy one take one special" for $12.99 plus tax, which affords one to order a salad/soup and a two entre's; one entre is like a take home dinner that you buy from the store and heat up when you get home. I ordered the shrimp scampi, which tasted amazingly fresh. I would change the noodles upon my next visit because they were really thin. After we had eaten, we received our take home entre's which we ate the very next day for lunch along with our reheated breadsticks. All tasted great even when reheated. I will visit again. 5 stars is based on quality of food and service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and price. read more

Very unimpressed with olive garden. This is the stuffed mushrooms I was served today. Like how could a cook seriously serve this? How could a server deliver it to the table? I ordered eggplant parmigiana, and they brought chicken parmigiana, so I had to wait a while for my dish to be prepared while the others in my party eight. I try to always look for positive points. The waiter, Skyler was the only reason I didn't implode. First off, the restaurant stunk, BAD.
