I know Olive Garden isn't authentic or top shelf Italian food. With that being said ... this has to be the worst Olive Garden I've ever been to. Which I've been to quite a few. First off the grilled chicken I got didn't taste right and I look and it's got pink in it and bright red. Then if you look at my pictures the noodles were hard and looked disgusting I tried to mix it around and that was majority of the noodles. Next I got the spinach and artichoke which is a go to for me. It was salty! Like horribly salty I had to send it back. I ended up drinking the strawberry limoncello margarita and the bread sticks with Alfredo. Which I never got a refill on the Alfredo. Also the waitress asked if I would like to talk to the manager. I said yes and the manager never came just took those two items off my bill, So I'm not sure if it's a new cook or what happened but I won't be going back to this location.

I love Olive Garden's lunch specials. Just the right portion with soup or salad plus breadsticks. They also have really good iced tea!

We come here regularly and always have a good meal. It's often busy so we try to arrive by 515pm or so to beat the dinner rush. All staff are extremely friendly every time we've ever been there. Restaurant is generally clean. It has been there a long time though. Our drink order was taken right away, and they have a big list of wines and many fun drinks, and of course a full bar. Lots to choose from on the menu...my suggestion is skip the apps and just enjoy salad and bread sticks that come with meal...I've learned I spoil my appetite if I order more than that ...and they do have several good coffee choices and desserts. Anyway, yes it's a chain restaurant, but we like the lively environment, the service, the food, and the prices ... so we recommend and keep going back

First time visiting Okemos and this location. There was a 10 minute wait on a Wednesday evening. Took more than 10 minutes to get our server to come take our order after being seated. Didn't get plates for the salad or bread. We asked 2 staff members and neither of them got it for us. Eventually did get them. Food was served quickly. Higher prices do not match the quality of their food or service. Prices here are what you'd expect from Carrabbas too bad the service isn't as good. Ordered the stuffed zitti fritta, toasted ravioli, herb grilled salmon, cheese tortelloni Alfredo, and gnocchi soup. Zitti fritta was fried perfectly, and tasted pretty good. Ravioli was not good. It was fried too long, not lightly as stated in the menu and the beef inside was just average. Would be be better with cheese instead. Salmon was cooked well. It was moist and seasoned well with a nice crust. The tortollini was good, and the chicken and sauce was seasoned well. Gnocchi soup was just ok. Strawberry passionfruit limonata and raspberry lemonade were not good. nothing special about it. Definitely not worth the $4+. Server was not as attentive as I'd expect and had to ask twice for a to go box. Relatively clean restrooms. Men's restroom needed freshening up. Women's restroom was clean. Nice atmosphere.

Does Olive Garden give free deserts for birthdays?

We provide a free birthday dessert for those who join us on their birthdays.

Do they have any private rooms for events?

Thanks for your question! Some of our restaurants do have family tables that are more private, and larger restaurants have other areas that can be kept separate for larger parties. We'd recommend calling the restaurant to speak with a manager about…

There were only four of us, but we ended up at what felt like a six-person booth/table setup. It made it a little tricky to talk with everyone, but we survived. Now listen... the bread. Oh, the bread. I have been dreaming about this bread ever since I had it. And I mean that literally, I was dreaming about the bread while I was actively eating it. It was THAT good. My pasta was delicious and had a nice kick to it. I knew it was supposed to be spicy, but even after reading the reviews I was still a little surprised by the heat. Thankfully, it was the good kind of spicy where you keep going back for another bite. Overall, a really nice spot with some seriously memorable bread.

Unfortunately, our dining experience was disappointing. We weren't allowed to order from the regular happy hour menu and were limited to a much more expensive fixed menu. The calamari was good, but the featured Jazzleberry cocktail tasted weak and watered down. The prosciutto and melon appetizer was served with a large piece of half-burnt toast, the melon was hard and underripe, and the prosciutto was dry and sliced so thick it was difficult to cut or eat. I asked only for a replacement piece of toast, but our server brought an entire basket of focaccia instead. Since we hadn't ordered it, we assumed it was a courtesy replacement. We were surprised to find an $8 charge for the bread on our bill. This was at least our third disappointing experience. Toscana has a lovely atmosphere and wonderful live music, but the food quality and service have consistently fallen short. I truly hope they can improve because I'd like to enjoy dining here as much as I enjoy the entertainment.

We opted for the margarita pizza, pasta carbonara, and chicken parmesan. Our entrees each came with a piece of focaccia and a side salad. (Super great value but I guess in this instance, you get what you pay for) The salad was fresh and the bread was fluffy and warm. The margarita pizza is served with tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, and a sprinkle of basil; certainly not the margarita pizza neither of us or our tastebuds are accustomed. The chicken parmesan was beautiful when brought to the table. However, disappointment set in after the first few bites. The chicken was not breaded in the least nor was it seemingly seasoned. After doctoring with black pepper, red pepper flakes, and extra parmesan it was tolerable as the tomato sauce had decent flavor. The carbonara would have been better with half of the pasta or twice the sauce, it just was uneventful. Our beverages were decent and also fairly priced. The service was also a highlight of the experience. The team members we encountered were friendly although I'm not sure I trust their judgement on which dishes to select. The restaurant itself was a casual setting with scattered diners throughout. There were some regulars, which was evident through interactions with team members, and a mixture of young and mature families. We really wanted to love Spagnuolo's as it is close to our new home and when you're in the mood for saucy pasta goodness or having a shove pizza in my face moment, you don't want to have to go far. It seems our search will continue.

I think it took at least 15 minutes to get our drinks ordered and of course the food order after that took probably close to 20 minutes. What I find surprising is that ordering an appetizer and salads took a long time to get. Aren't those easy things? I guess I resented ordering breadsticks when the meal came with foccia bread anyway so now we were stuck with all this bread on our table. I had the chicken Parmesan and it was covered with so much cheese! I couldn't tell if there was any chicken on the plate. The side of pasta was not more than a cup serving and the sauce unremarkable. The waitress was also the bartender which made service extra slow. Place decent and dated but nothing to write home about. I'm glad I can't go back!

When we go out to restaurants we tyically hand over a list of allergies my youngest son has, it is just easier for the server to take. Gluten, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soy Protein, Shell Fish. The server read it and took it back. My son ordered the steak and wanted mashed potatoes. Server came back and said he could not have them and recommended veggies. I ordered the Fra Diavolo which was spicy and good. My son's steak was decent but wished he could have had the mashed potatoes. We asked if he can have the sweet potatoes and she went to the manager and she came back and verified if he can have dairy. We verfied and indicated that he could have dairy. They made the sweet potatoes for him but I didn't think any dairy was in it or other allergens. As lunch was winding down we looked into dessert and asked about the vanilla ice cream (to see if he can have it as sometimes it has eggs in it). She came back and asked if he could have dairy (at this point, I answered and said, we gave you a list and it doesn't list dairy so yes he can). I was getting upset. So he was able to have ice cream. Overall, for a big party, I thought the service was not great. Then when we received the check, she listed dairy as an allergen which we never indicated he had. I'm 100% sure he could have had more options to eat. The server was told twice that he was not allergic to dairy (I get being precautious is a good thing but apologize for the mistake). I could have spoken to the manager but decided not - which I now regret. I would not go back to this place.
