The toppings I got were mushrooms and jalapeños and Asiago Alfredo for the sauce and a regular crust, with gluten-free being the alternative option. The toppings tasted very fresh and flavorful, the cheese was salty but not too salty and delicious. Pretty much perfect all around The meatballs and marinara also were wonderful, so much flavor in the meat and sauce individually and they complemented each other perfectly. I went in at 4 pm today to order a pizza. The waitress told me their pizza oven was not working but they could cook it in the regular oven. So I paid and went to wait for it. After a while I smelled something burning and I thought there goes my pizza. I have received a burnt pizza before. I just assumed they would try it again. Someone came over and told me their pizza oven pizza oven wasn't working, but I had been told that when I ordered and paid for my pizza. Finally the bartender came over and said she would check on my order because I had been there a hour waiting at that point. She never came and told me situation so finally I asked about it. Disappointment in Crab Cakes. Didn't taste like normal crab cakes, high fishy taste and no obvious crab flavor. I frequently eat crab cakes and these didn't taste anything like the ones i get at Blue Coast or 50's Diner or other local restaurants. I have never had a crab cake taste so fishy that I couldn't eat them. But the calamari was very tasty and I would buy again if we ever go back. They weren't overcooked and rubbery. Looking for some pasta in Tulsa is really difficult and I had a lowered expectations walking in, I thought it was going to be a typical corporate ran restaurant. My mind was quickly changed, the moment I walked in, was greeted warm and friendly by the hostesses, and helped me with the to-go order. I ordered the 2for $25; Chicken Alfredo and Spaghetti w/ Meatballs and pepperoni bread as the app. When I got home I was surprised by how large the portions were. The food was really good, well above the price we paid. The only negative the bread sticks were tough and would like the ability to order through an app without the increased prices. Some of their appetizers are good the pizza cheese bread calamari not so good thetas need more spice seasoning olive oil vinegar whatever make it better cause you can get it all over town. We frequented Oliveto's before COVID, eating there a couple of times a month. But when COVID hit we stopped eating out at all for a while. Then we started ordering takeout to get back into the swing of eating out. Oliveto's won't send you away hungry. The plate has enough food for two meals. I usually eat the 3-Meat Skillet Al Forno and I can make there's meals out of it easily. I love the taste. I also love the Citrus Cedar Plank Salmon. It's quite tasty and I have no leftovers with it. The restaurant has a nice ambiance feel to it, with low lighting. Which was really nice. Our whole party really wished they gave bread before the dinner arrives. Like at Olive Garden, Carabba's...or pretty much any Italian place does. I had the grilled rosemary chicken with grilled zucchini and it was 'ok' dry... but tasted ok.The chicken was small in size for almost $16.00 ,the veggies had grilled zucchini, squash, onions, red pepper and mushrooms. Those were really good but they came out way too hot! Sizzling scalding hot and burnt my tongue. The dinners do come with one breadstick, but it lacked flavor and was really dry. My friends crab cake had thick pieces of crab that were hard to chew, my other friend said the shrimp and chicken Parmesan were good.. For dessert we split the cookie with ice cream. My wife and I made the 30 mile pilgrimage to give it a try. When we arrived to were greeted by a hostess who placed us at a table even tho we requested a booth. I like the idea of making it possible for patrons to see what goes on with the food preparation. Our waiter named Jack took our drink order an we placed an order for Italian Nachos for an appetizer. My wife ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and I ordered the PastaTrio that had a sampling of bow tie pasta with Alfredo sauce, lasagna and spaghetti with meatball. Overall our meal had good flavor but nothing outstanding. Our issues may be petty, but was enough for a four star rating instead of a five star. First issue was my wife's fettuccine Alfredo was served with spaghetti instead of Fettuccine. Second issue is the Alfredo sauce was not thick enough. It did not stick to the pasta. Third issue was the Italian Nachos did not have enough sauce resulting a pile of chips with cheese on the top layer and nothing on the underlying chips. Our waiter (Jack) was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable efficient. This restaurant adhere to the COVID requirements. This restaurant could be a go to restaurant for us. My husband, on the other hand, wanted to walk out after seeing the menu because they serve chicken Alfredo with thin spaghetti. He thought his chicken primavera is just ok. We were seated for over 20 minutes, not waited on, so we got up and left. A lot of restaurant personnel walked by us while we sat. (No one even brought us a glass of water.) Mind you, they were not even busy. There was one other table of diners. A call to the manager a couple days later resulted in the manager saying a gift card would be sent. Over the past year, we've dined in 3x and ordered via DoorDash once. Our first dine in experience was great, but our subsequent visits were polar opposite. This was due to waiting 45 min to get our salad and our lukewarm dinner following 5 min later; not to mention, the waitstaff gathered at the hostess counter and going in/out of the restaurant. On the other hand, our online order arrived in a fairly timely manner and was warm. Sadly, we visited this past weekend with out-of-town guests and experienced the same poor service - it took 50 min to get our food, 2 of the 4 meals were cold and 1 tasted bland. You could see disappointed faces around the restaurant as people waited. It's apparent their take out service takes precedent over dine in guests as we saw numerous large, take out orders.
