I've been coming here ever since I was a kid. It's a strong 3.8 out of 5, food wise the menu is a hit or miss the burgers are very good. The fries need more seasoning. Bottom line you just need to know how to order from this place to have a good experience. The quality could be a little bit better overall but still pretty good. read more

Been going here since I was a little girl! The owner's daughter was my one of my first and best babysitters!!! Shout out to Mary G! No matter what I get off the menu it is always delicious!!! Also recently without knowing it I accidentally ordered twice on an app to have food picked up and delivered. One of their employees caught the duplicate order and took the time to call me. I used to go quiet often to Omegas when I was in high school and for nostalgia purposes I chose to revisit and was sad to see the quality has changed a bit. The burgers used to be thicker and it was sad to see they went smaller. It was still delicous but wish they kept the old patties. The fries are the same which was great to see. The service here is also okay nothing too friendly or welcoming. I will still revisit in the future for the fries and affordability since other areas in town are more pricey. read more

Surprisingly good - and filling - food! We've walked by Omega countless times, strolling from Chapman into Old Orange in search of food, always commenting on how good the charred meat smells, but never stopping in. But, on one of our latest visits, we were too lazy to go for our normal stroll (and, honestly, I was unwilling to eat at the same places again), so we decided to give Omega a shot. On our way into the restaurant, a nice older gentleman stopped us to regale us with stories of their chicken dinner special - the flavors, the cost, the sides. He was so intent on sharing all the good news with us that we didn't actually set foot inside the restaurant for another five minutes. Once inside, we really got a sense as to how long this place has been in business. If the owners were to send a note to their customers saying they'd be shutting down for a quick remodel, could you blame them? The menu board is straight out of the mid- to late-70s. The decor isn't too far behind. But, the food, as I mentioned above, was surprisingly delicious. My husband got the Omega Burger, and added bacon. I got the Gyro combo (who goes to a burger joint and orders a gyro? THIS GIRL!) We got our food to go, so we could take it back to Chapman. We had beers to drink, after all. The gyro sandwich was packed full of juicy, flavorful meat. The tzatziki was equal parts creamy and chunky, with a nice - but not overpowering - dilly/tarty bite. My husband was making yummy noises over his burger, and in between bites and mmm's, he repeatedly shared how happy he was in his decision to get a single burger, instead of the double he'd contemplated. Cuz, you know - the single was an extra-large burger on its own, and his combo came with fries and a drink (as did the gyro combo, by the way). So - on our next stop at Chapman, we decided to forgo their food truck in favor of Omega once again. This time the restaurant was full to bursting (the Old Towne Orange festival was on at the same time), but the food still came out quickly enough. And yes, this time, my husband did end up getting the double cheeseburger, no bacon, and no sides. He was able to finish it - barely - and was stuffed for days afterwards. Me? I got the gyro again, and though the pita was a bit crispier and the meat a bit dryer, it still filled the void. read more

Best breakfast burritos in town! The combination of crispy bacon, eggs, cheese, and hash browns always hits the spot. Cheeseburgers are amazing. It's a little overpriced and the quality is lacking. It's more about quantity than quality food here. Burgers can be overcooked and don't even try anything from the breakfast menu. They should just get rid of it outright. Pancakes tasted like cardboard and the bacon is completely deepfried for some reason which completely ruins the bacon flavor. Breakfast burritos are overstuffed with unseasoned hash brown and eggs. Anything on the menu that isnt a burger should just be removed. It's just unfortunate that the burgers just don't cut it. The just need to season their meat and not overcook it. At least they got horchata ‍You're better off going to other establishments for cheaper *cough in n out. read more

Omega's is my neighborhood burger joint. The prices rarely ever go up and the amount of food they give you is generous. I just wish they had bigger booths because you have to be a size 3-9 to fit in them. Lol I get it though, it's an older establishment and people were much smaller back then. It's walking distance from my house and I love their burgers, salads, corn dog, fries, zucchini's, charbroiled chicken sandwich , tuna melt and mmmm their tamale which is so different but very tasty. read more

The food is good but every time we have come there is always something missing. We asked for extra seasoning on fries and they don't add, no onions on burger and they add onions. The line take more than 15mins on drive thru and its always like 2 cars in the line. The burger has become less flavorful every time so it is the last time we are coming. I'm sold when I read "charbroiled" at any hamburger joint, and then of course the smell of said charbroiled burgers coming from the 70's drive-in. While I prefer my diners to be more 1950's, I'm cool with the 70's. Omega did not disappoint. I've only been here twice, but both times the burgers have been made to my liking, same with the fries. Just a good, tasty, no frills burger, decent prices for what you get, and friendly customer service. The food tastes like you Would expect from driving by the place... Kind of a throwback old-school Greek diner. I had the breakfast special 6.99 For four pieces of French toast a couple of sausage links and two scrambled eggs. Added a large root beer and I'm out the door for 10 bucks! Filling, hearty, well prepared- certainly nothing special but nothing bad either... Their menu sign is straight out of 1975 and it looks like it's been about that long since they've cleaned it but the kitchen itself was very clean. It was also pretty quick and it's right by the train station so it's a great stop if you're Got a half hour to wait for a train or something. I was going to go to Rubys but it was closed for some reason and this was the next breakfast place up the block. Very friendly staff but you can tell that it's just a job for them - They aren't trying to compete with all the Artsy places on the circle- I would eat here again... By myself... I don't know why it took me so long to write a review of Omega Burger. I've been coming here since the early eighties. My go to, and the only thing I get is the pastrami burrito. The hot tip is get it double wrapped with 2 tortillas, make sure to include the word tortillas or you'll get it double wrapped with 2 pieces of paper. It comes with cheese and onion, I add mustard and pickles, this is a must. They don't skimp on any of the ingredients, the burrito is fat, juicy, and very filling. In my opinion the best thing on the menu, all other items are just ok. read more

My family and I try to come here atleast twice a month. It's my son's favorite breakfast place. Ihop and Denny's have nothing on Omega's eggs haha. The service is always great and I really don't understand why the reviews aren't better. Please just try this place once and post a good review if you enjoy it! Beef taco was ok except shell was either stale or they didn't bother heating it up first. Chicken taco was good except taco shell was so soggy I had to eat with a knife and fork. It's a pretty simple menu, without a lot of substitutions available. It does sometimes take a few minutes to get your food, so don't expect to get it immediately in the drive thru. Burgers are good, with the normal lettuce, tomato, raw onion on there. Fries don't have much flavor so grab their salt or order a side of ranch. Nothing fancy here, but always worth it for me. I usually go to Victory Diner and decided to try Omega tonight instead. I ordered a cheeseburger with meat, cheese, and ketchup only, small fries, a patty melt with pickles (was asked if I also wanted onions and I said yes), and fried zucchini. Person at the window gives me a bag and says "just waiting on the zucchini." A min later, he handed me the zucchini and said I was good. I looked in the bags and there was no patty melt. I asked him and he says "yeah... just waiting on the patty melt." Huh? I also asked for a side of thousand island for the fries. Was told it would be $0.50 extra. I hate nickel and dime stuff like that. When I got home and took the food out of the bags: -The burger hand no ketchup on it. -The patty melt had no onions or pickles. -The fried zucchini was mush. -The burger bun was so dry the top literally broke in half. Service was weak, order was wrong, and food was terrible. I won't be back. If anyone was thinking about trying this place, just got down the street to Victory Diner. read more
