Hands down, best omelets in town! My wife is an omelet snob (she has a culinary background). We've been to every breakfast and brunch place in Orlando. For many years now, the only omelets that met to her standards were made at The Kitchen (the restaurant inside of The Hard Rock Hotel down at Universal Orlando). Well, The Omelet Bar has won the new title! No joke, these omelets were perfect in every way... thick and fluffy, ingredients mixed in, and cooked to perfection. The other foods we had were awesome as well (breakfast potatoes, multigrain toast, turkey bacon, side of sausage gravy). I had the delectable Bostonian omelet (lobstah anyone)? I normally dunk my omelet into sausage gravy for an extra layer of flavor, but the omelet was so perfect by itself. I didn't use the yummy gravy except for my potatoes. By the way, the Bostonian comes covered in a lobster bisque sauce, which made it oh so perfect. The staff were friendly, the restaurant spacious, prices great. Did I mention they also serve various full liquor alcoholic drinks? Yes! Located in a nice area outside the main entrance to UCF. Looking forward to future visits. Tried this place out for lunch today and can't wait to go back! I couldn't decide between the Bostonian omelet, lobster benedict or the carne frittata as they all sounded SO GOOD. I ended up going with the Bostonian omelet because it sounded different and I've never had anything like it before - at least not in an omelet. Monsta Lobsta food truck does something similar with their lobster rolls where you can get it covered with lobster bisque so I was thinking this would be reminiscent of that. I was very happy with my choice. I asked for it in all egg whites so I didn't have to feel SO guilty about. It was downright delicious. It came topped with huge chunks of sweet lobster and the bisque was savory and a little sweet. The mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions all tasted fresh and the cheese was gooey. The potatoes it came with were hot and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was seasoned well, cooked perfectly. I got it with wheat bread that came lightly toasted and the blackberry jelly on the table tasted delicious with it. The portion was pretty big so I had leftovers and for the price of around $14 including tax, I thought this was a good deal. I have taken a liking to Eggs Benedict meals, but they are not all created equal. I am sad to say I have lived so close for as long as I have and bypassed this restaurant several times because the outside sign isn't 'flashy'. The food was plated well, each ingredient seemed fresh. Even the bacon had a strong flavor, unlike others I have had before. Megan offered great service and we will return soon, Lord willing! -The drinks were pricey, so we settled on water. I am really impressed with this place. Had brunch with family here on a Sunday morning. The place was packed and we had to wait about 25 minutes for a table. Our server was so friendly. I had their whiskey sour and the lobster benedict. Both my cocktail and meal were great. The eggs were poached perfectly and I enjoyed every succulent bite of lobster and hollandaise sauce. Everyone at the table agreed their meals were delicious and that we would all happily go back again. There is lots of parking although we had to park a little bit far since it was so busy. I can't believe it took us this long to try this place! We walked in around noon and were immediately seated. The menu was a bit overwhelming for this hungry gal! I decided on the waffle and chicken flight-raspberry butter was ah-mazing! The chicken was perfectly moist and tender-not so crispy that I couldn't cut through it! SOFT OPENING REVIEW: Anyone who has read my reviews knows that my pet peeve is when a server forgets the lemons for my water. I'm not a morning person, so to not get my order correct is really irritating. Eventually we were brought some lemons and everything went smooth from there...mostly. My in-laws offered my husband a birthday breakfast, so my daughter and I tagged along. The restaurant was nice and clean, which was pleasant to walk into. We were seated at a booth/table hybrid and handed our menus. There was surprisingly a lot to choose from, anywhere from healthy omelettes to carb-filled French toast. There was also an "adult beverage" section! Skylar took pretty good care of us, but the food did take a long time to come out. There were not a lot of patron in the restaurant, either. My in-laws had visited just a few days before and I asked them what they ordered, to get ideas of what was good. They had a veggie omelet and steak and eggs, but they said they didn't really like their food..."WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE, THEN?!", we asked. From that point, I was prepared to be disappointed. Anyways, I ordered the Ratatouille Frittata with home fries and dry English Muffin. It was surprisingly tasty. My daughter ordered Spring Berry French Toast, and hubby got a custom omelet with a side of Sausage gravy. I tried some of the gravy and it was a tad bit watery, but the flavor was good. Stood at the "wait to be seated" for about the 10 minutes. Nobody helped. Waitresses walking around and nobody acknowledges the people waiting. One girl finally comes up and takes your name and leaves. People are walking in and just waiting and waiting. There are tons of empty tables and plenty of waitresses but no host. We haven't sat down to eat yet. Good review coming up. We left. Nobody helped us. Terrible management. Literally treat your staff better and get better management. read more

This place is awesome and as well worth the drive. My children all had breakfast items from the children's menu, which they loved. The children's portions were perfect. I had the banana foster French toast, which is pretty much the best French toast I've ever had, without exception. I can't imagine the calorie content, but who cares when it's that good, right? My better half had the Charcutier Bowl. It looks amazingly delicious, and could be, but it's missing something to make it less dry. I'd recommend a couple of poached eggs or something. There is a Dijon mustard that comes with it, but the mustard overpowers the other flavors, so that wasn't for me. Our waitress was highly attentive and pleasant as well. I searched on Yelp for a brunch restaurant we could stop at prior to flying out of the Sanford Airport. We decided that Omelet Bar was exactly what we were looking for .... breakfast & lunch options with alcohol. I'm assuming this is close to campus after seeing all the students there. We arrived around 11am today & had a 20 minute wait for a table. We were sat at the window facing Strategy Blvd. There was plenty of interesting things (walkers, bad drivers) for us to keep us entertained during our meal. I decided to order the classic burger with American cheese & French Fries. I was given the option of pink or no pink for the burger. I went with pink but the burger came out no pink... not what I wanted but no big deal. About 15 minutes after ordering our food it arrived to our table. The shoe string fries with a slight seasoning were perfect! I then enjoyed the More S'mores Pwease martini. This chocolate martini was a work of art..... chocolate drizzle inside the glass, chocolate rim with graham cracker crumbs, toasted marshmallows, a graham cracker & whipped cream! The chocolate martini was good but not the best I've ever had. The chocolate on the rim had a odd flavor to it.... couldn't figure out what it was but I didn't care for it. The manager was very present today running around the restaurant. He brought us out cocktails & was happy to bring us other items we requested. Paula was our server today & she was great. 3 stars for an okay breakfast option near UCF. A few coworkers and I went yesterday after a 5k so needless to say it was PACKED and maybe that could have been a reasoning for the subpar service but I'm not sure. The manager was very obviously frazzled and having a hard time dealing with the big crowd waiting to sit. Our waitress was kind, but a little forgetful. Has to ask water multiple times. The menu options are great. You can either go with classic breakfast or get funky with a chicken and waffle flight or cool French toasts with different toppings. We ordered beignets and biscuits for the table, both were great and very tasty. I was craving a classic breakfast so asked for scrambled eggs w/ pepper jack, house fries, toast, and a side of sausage links. When my meal came I was not impressed. A huge pet peeve of mine is when cheese is served barely melted and it's just a big blob of cheese on food. The potatoes were my favorite. Nice and crispy and cooked well. The sausage links were okay, nothing special. & 4 pieces of white bread is excessive but hey, I'll take it because all of this was only about $6. My husband had 3 pancakes with a side of bacon which he enjoyed. I prefer my bacon much more crispy but that's to each their own preference. I'll probably go back when it's not a big event being hosted nearby and see if it's any different. read more

Everything about this place was amazing! The food was so good and for the amount of food you get, you get your money's worth. We got the chicken and waffle flight (raspberry butter with syrup, sausage gravy, and cherrywood bacon and cheddar) and the bostonian omelette. My favorite was the cherrywood bacon and cheddar because it was the perfect sweet and savory combination. Adding a little bit of syrup helps elevate the sweetness to balance out the flavor. Excellent breakfast with two legal size pages of variations for omelettes, french toast, pancakes, and waffles. You can choose 2, 3 or 4 eggs and prices reflect each option accordingly. Adding ingredients are endless and are separate by food group, veggie, meats, cheese, etc. Each ingredient is priced too. Plus, they have a separate page dedicated to their current specials with descriptions and pictures. Really you can get tons of meals and not get bored. This breakfast spot is located across from UCF in a plaza with limited parking given the volume of people that are in the area. The host station had 4 ladies who greet you and tell you a 5 to 10 minute wait. Really there was only one party of 2 waiting and tons of empty tables. Can't figure out why the 10 minute wait. Actual wait time was more like 6 minutes. No reason for this was evident other than they just had to finish their conversations, because as soon as they did, the other party and us were taken to our tables. Servers are plentiful and friendly. Many walking around taking orders, greet us and others delivering food. One manager was walking around observing and guiding the young man who was bussing tables. Kitchen food seemed to coming out in a steady flow. I had a positive experience and found the food was generous, the coffee hot, and the service friendly. Still can't figure out why the 6 minute wait, but the rest of the experience was good. Would go back and would recommend on non-UCF event days. All the food was really good today! I've been here a couple times already, but I haven't written a review until today because it deserves one now. The house potatoes are probably my favorite from Omelette Bar. They make it so well, as they're super crispy and perfectly seasoned. My sister who loves potatoes can eat a whole plate of these if she could. I recommend the chicken and waffle flight, especially with the bacon and cheddar option. It's always a safe pick and you really can't go wrong with chicken and waffles! Another great option is the Bostonian omelette, which consists of lobster. I really like the way they make it and don't skimp on the lobster or crab meat. The lobster bisque sauce can be quite heavy, so I recommend getting that on the side, so you can control it yourself and the omelet isn't smothered. Omelette Bar can be similar to Kekes and Another Broken Egg Cafe, but they have different menu items like brisket Benedict, breakfast flatbreads (I love their farmhouse flat), and beignets. They also have unlimited mimosas and Bellini on Sundays for $13.99! It's a nice place and service is great too. Delicious breakfast joint in the UCF area! Located right in the heart of college town, this establishment is a great source for delicious omelettes, pancakes, waffles & lunch items between 7am-2:30. Granted it's called the Omelet Bar so of course you have your own build-an-Omelet bar (which we didn't do unfortunately, but next time!) I couldn't decide if I wanted to go salty or sweet, and was torn between the Ratatouille Frittata and the Choco Hazelnut waffles (...because Nutella, duh!) Luckily, the server helped me with my decision & I compromised by going with the Frittata AND getting a KID's-size Choco Hazelnut waffle ($5.99 saaahweeet!). Ratatouille Frittata was good: 3 eggs, asiago cheese, spinach, zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, garlic & onions. Came with your choice of side (I chose breakfast potatoes) & your choice of bread (I chose English muffin). Choco Hazelnut waffles were amazinggg. Something about those strawberries.. so delicious! My friend ordered the #Scramble. Not gonna lie, hers looked better than mine. It was served in a bowl with 3 scrambled eggs, cheddar, avocado, mushrooms, bacon & onions on a bed of breakfast potatoes with your choice of bread. My friend vouched that this dish was de-liiiish! All in all, we arrived around 830am so the place was prettttty empty but I believe it does get busy. Will be back to try more options (including lunch). read more
