Really enjoyed the food at this breakfast spot across from UCF. The server was friendly and informative. This place has a huge menu with so many options for omeletes, french toast, pancakes or waffles. I cannot imagine not finding something on the menu that I liked. The food was delicious and the bacon was okay, but to be honest, I will stick with the applewood and pay $1 less. Here's my concerns, the parking lot outside is very limited and with a busy plaza, this place can be very complicated for parking and I imagine for seating too. When I arrived there were 4 hostesses and tons of visibly clean tables that were set and empty. Yet, the hostess told me the wait was 5 to 10 minutes. I'm so happy we decided to check this place out this past Sunday. We have lots of brunch spots near home so we never venture far for brunch until recently. I love good omelets and Benedict's so we gave it a shot. Never did I imagine that they would have so many seafood options because most places don't. Since I don't eat meat, I was in heaven! We'd gotten so used to the same places, eating the same options, that we forgot what a really great brunch should be. The service was good, our wait was 20 mins for a packed Sunday, but I think that's their basic turnaround time because they do move quick. The waiting area is no good with very little space, especially when people have to stand. So we waited in our car and they come out to look for us when our table was ready. Also, I read where people complain about their prices, but I thought the prices were lower than most brunch places. Local and quality restaurants that serve brunch tend to charge $10-$15 a dish. So I got the steak and egg here and tbh,I was not a fan. The steak was not medium rare and it felt dry. This restaurant is kinda hidden, if you don't know what you're looking for...located behind a McDonalds, practically on UCF's campus. When we were seated we started off with coffee and it was the most delicious coffee I have ever had. For breakfast I chose the Pina Colada French Toast and my daughter had the cinnamon apple waffle. My French toast was like a tropical getaway with fresh pineapple, coconut, and cream cheese icing. My daughter's breakfast was like Grandma baked an apple pie and dumped it on a waffle. Both dishes were awesome. We also got a side of the apple wood smoked bacon which was four pieces of the thickest, tastiest, and crispiest pieces of bacon that I have ever eaten. There was so much food that we couldn't finish it all and my daughter ended taking some back to the dorm with her. Breakfast for the two of us was $30 which was extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food we got. The service was fast and friendly with plenty of coffee refills. Before we even left my daughter was already trying to decide what she was going to order the next time. In addition to their inventive breakfast selections they also serve lunch. The location is great, it is grouped with several other retail shops and eateries that are all below apartments across from UCF. When we arrived we were promptly seated and orders were taken. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles flight. It had 3 different variations of Chicken and Waffles, all for about 3.79 a piece. The first had cheese and bacon, which was ok, probably #2 on ranking the three options. The second had gravy which was the best if you ask me, It was flavorful and hit the spot. Last had probably the weirdest combo and was worst overall, a raspberry/strawberry butter concoction. Something about that combination did not sit well with me. The proportion of chicken to Waffles was also lacking. You receive one small tender per 2 large waffle triangles. If there was more chicken, I would have possibly added another star. Both were equally delicious but I definitely preferred the omelet - it was much easier to eat! Of course, like most "brunch-esque" places the dishes are a bit on the price-y side.
