1 order of veg chow mein and egg rolls

Good food, high prices, just ok service. Mushroom eggrolls are good. Across from the hub in Fremont. Easy parking right in front. [[HIGHLIGHT]]TV'S tuned in to the news on my last visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This Pho restaurant is a decent spot if you're craving soup. The soup was good, but was a little light for my taste. Their egg rolls and spring rolls were fantastic. I might've just caught the broth on an off day, but it was a bit on the lighter side. My fiancé loves pho and is particular about a spots broth. She really likes this place and said the broth was a richer in beef flavor earlier in the week. Service was fast and friendly. Food came out even faster. Soup was hot and satisfied my cravings. I did come on a Saturday at 3pm so your mileage may vary. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was cute and calm. The walls are decorated with flowers, statues, and pictures of the dishes. Tables and seating match the decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was pretty quiet inside outside of other groups talking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    A-3 Vietnamese fried egg rolls.

Tried this place for the first time on Christmas Eve. We ordered over the phone for pick up. There was another review on here about them messing up phone orders and it's correct. My husband got home from picking it up while it was pouring rain to open up the food and mine is pork with white rice and some lettuce. It was not only a very sad looking plate but also the wrong plate. He felt bad and being we don't live too far called them to get the correct order. After a few minutes of the woman on the phone figuring out which order it was, she said that the other woman on the phone thought it was number 38 and not 28. Luckily they said to come back down and they'll make the correct order. Like I said, I'm glad we live close otherwise it wouldn't have been worth it to drive in the pouring rain in the dark on Christmas Eve. When he got back the second time, it was correct. Unfortunately, by that time, his plate along with the Vietnamese egg rolls were no longer hot. We ordered A-3 (Vietnamese fried egg rolls), 28 (beef over vermicelli), and 31 (combination vermicelli). It was around $50. This was not worth the money. There were hardly any pickled veggies in either vermicelli plates which stinks because I love pickled veggies. The beef in mine was pretty fatty and wasn't cut up at all so it was difficult to eat. I don't like fatty or gristly meats so I had to pick it apart to eat it and remove the nasty pieces. There was a little bit of lettuce but it was under the noodles and meat. I wish they put it with the veggies so it wouldn't get soggy. The shrimp cake in the combination plate was greasy and smelled more fishy than other shrimp cakes we've had. The meat on the plate was also pretty fatty. The Vietnamese egg rolls were probably the best thing we ordered as they were large and full of filling. They were crispy and not greasy. I couldn't tell if they were made there or purchased premade. Overall, I don't think we'll be back as this wasn't a cheap meal and wasn't anything special. There are better spots around to spend our money at.

    Plenty of seating.

Came here for a quick pho fix, and it was the perfect lunch! We were seated promptly, the service was fast, and our food came out quickly. Small restaurant but plenty of seating. The pork egg rolls were crispy and tasty--reminded me of my Grandma's! The pho broth was hot and flavorful, and the noodles had the perfect soft yet chewy texture. There's only one size bowl for pho, so little ones may need to share, but it's filling for a big kid, teen, or adult. If you have a bigger appetite, you can order extra noodles and meat. One minor downside was that the dishes could have been washed/dried a bit better, but I've found this common in a lot of small, authentic Vietnamese/pho restaurants. Pricing was commensurate for the amount of food and location. There are so many pho options in the area, but if nearby, I wouldn't mind coming again.

We drove by this place randomly expecting the Thai place we used to frequent but I guess that place is now replaced by this Vietnamese Restaurant. We went in to try it out. It was a weekday night, it was a slow night with I think 2 parties dining in. I got the fried chicken with tomato rice and my boyfriend got grilled pork chop. Our food didn't take long to get to us and it also honestly didn't take long to eat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was quiet, I wish they had music to drown the silence.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I think next time we will order to-go. Overall not bad, and price is as expected of Fremont nowadays. Will come back for a good to-go option for us.

The pho soup here always hit the spot after a tough work week. Rich and flavorful broth with perfectly cooked noodles. The portions are big so I always asked for an extra empty small bowl to share with my kid.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We went on a Sunday afternoon and place was not too busy. There were available seats for indoor dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered soup and pad thai. Both dishes were tasty and delicious. Their soup was more tasty than the other Vietnamese restaurants. The pad Thai was ok. Price was also reasonable, around $15-$16 per bowl. They just had 1 size for the bowl of soup. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere was casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of available parking. We will go back again to have pho. The man at the counter was very polite.

Ambience was like every other pho place but the food is consistent and doesn't disappoint. Despite how it was not busy, it worked in our favor because the service was fast without any hiccups. Our food was delivered in less than 10 minutes. The vegetables were fresh while their custom sauce for the rice and chicken was extremely savory. Chicken was also huge which was a plus. The grilled shrimp and chicken had a nice char. Water came out immediately and when asked for a refill it came fast as well without needing to wait long. Personally, I think the prices were extremely reasonable for Bay Area food.

Got seated right away as we walked in and the place was spacious! There were plenty of seats and the service was pretty fast. I got chicken with grilled shrimp and it was a solid 8/10! Though it was a little oily, I still enjoyed it. This place is solid if you want something quick and enjoyable.

I enjoy coming here when I'm sick or it's raining outside and ordering their pho. The broth has always been consistent and I really enjoy the large portion size. Whenever I come here you get seated immediately and food comes out quite fast. Ambiance is like any other family restaurant, it was quite serene, and they were playing some viet-pop bangers too.

    Cockroach in the food

Cockroach in the food Cockroach in the food, when showed owner of the restaurant he was reluctant to charge and when I insisted to pay and asked for the receipt . He refused to give it to us and said I have to take care of business and if you want you can stay here forever but I am not going to give receipt. He was trying to protect his business and doesn't care to the customers health. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Resturant owner have to be careful with the hygiene and please caution if you plan to visit this place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We ordered a variety of things including walnut shrimp, xlb, xlb with crab, hot and sour soup, stir fried green beans, and some dessert. Food came out fast and everything was hot and fresh. Personally not a fan of thick dumpling wrappers but the quality of the food overall was good. Service was attentive with refilling water but I had to ask multiple times for more napkins which got a little annoying. The restaurant also got really busy as it got closer to peak lunch time so I imagine that played a role. One thing that kind of put me off was my water cup looking dirty or having something in it. Hard to say what it was but it made me hesitant to keep drinking from it. I think my rating would be closer to 3.5 stars if I could do half stars because of their service and cleanliness. When asking for the napkins the second time, I saw their waiters cleaning a table then seeing me ask for napkins again, he immediately grabbed them to give me with his hands that just picked up others' trash

Instead of responding with patience and courtesy, the tone and manner of the conversation made my mother feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. What stood out to me was the inconsistency in customer service. During my visit, I observed some customers receiving warm greetings and attentive service, while others did not receive the same level of engagement. Customer service should be consistent and respectful for everyone who walks through the door. I actually worked at this location years ago, and one thing I appreciated back then was the genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The staff treated people with kindness and respect regardless of who they were. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I witnessed during this visit. I also noticed a significant change in the manager's demeanor once I asked for her name. The interaction immediately became friendlier, which left me wondering why that level of professionalism wasn't present from the beginning. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed and treated with dignity when they visit a restaurant. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location and hope management takes customer concerns about respect, consistency, and hospitality seriously. Thanks alot Veronica! Not very impressive at all!

I love spicy food and can easily handle Buffalo Wild Wings' spiciest sauce without a problem, so I went with the "Spicy (9-10)" level. However, since I'm not as familiar with Chinese peppercorn heat, I decided to be safe and chose the "Standard Numbing Spice" option instead of extra. Omg, I still made a mistake. That Chinese peppercorn was intense and spicy! While I still enjoyed the flavor because the noodles themselves were so good, the numbing effect was just a bit much for me. My order came with bean sprouts, broccoli, fish cakes, potatoes, kimchi, eggplant, and tofu. My favorites were the stir fried fish cakes and the lightly sweetened potatoes. *Kimchi Jjigae: the broth carried a pleasantly fermented kimchi flavor. There was also a generous amount of soft tofu incorporated throughout the stew. This leaned more heavily into deeper, aged kimchi notes. *Mul Naengmyun: the chilled broth had a naturally tangy and slightly sweet profile, so the side of mustard felt necessary to sharpen the flavors further. The buckwheat noodles were pleasantly bouncy, though they had clumped together a bit at the bottom. Unfortunately, the toppings were the weakest part, as both the meat and egg were noticeably overcooked. *Corn Cheese: surprisingly mozzarella forward. The cheese was melted well and paired nicely with the bursts of sweetness from the corn. This complemented the hotter savory dishes especially well. Overall, this is a solid takeout option with efficient service and dependable packaging. I would still like to see more depth and refinement in some of the broths, but the foundation is definitely there.
