My husband and I arrived late on a Friday night. Despite being very busy, we were quickly seated. They had several large parties going on, lots of walk-in's for their karaoke rooms. Service staff was attentive and helpful with food recommendations. Since it's a full bar, the bartender/waiter provided good soju recommendations and even let us sample a few varieties before buying a 2nd bottle ($14.99) While they offer AYCE for $30.99 with a 2 hour limit, we went with dinner plates instead. We just didn't feel like cooking our own food that late in the night. Our banchan dishes were excellent and yes we were able to get seconds. They cook in classic Korean style. Their beef bulgogi was good but the star was their spicy pork bulgogi

It's just not good Ayce looked like a great time, so I got seated and informed the waiter I'd like to do that. She let me know that ayce is for parties of two or more. They did allow me to do ayce but I wished I just went to kpot. Seasoned meats were not well seasoned. The meats smelled gamey and were tough to chew. The scissors aren't sharp and didn't work. The wait staff did not turn on my grill so I was confused for a while. Banchan were under seasoned. Blah.

Food was amazing and atmosphere is top notch, if you're a night owl and get the munchies, this spot is for you! Great service and very nice owner!

Okay, YUM! My sister took us to this Korean BBQ spot and I loved it! We all opted for the all-you-can basic option - but there was a premium option that came with three more meat options. First, the sides that come with everything were delicious; while I am not a huge kimchi fan, I did enjoy the radishes, potatoes, broccoli, and onions. Then, we were able to select up to three meats at a time - and they brought out HUGE portions. I honestly wish they were a bit smaller, so that we could try more of the other meat options (we were a bit scared off my the $20 "excessive leftover" charge listed on the menu). Everything also comes with rice, lettuce and a side salad. Overall, delicious, decently priced and attentive service!

been coming to One Pocha for years now, i have great memories here with my friends. KBBQ is always gonna be a bit pricey but worth it. It's delicious y'all, you gotta prepare yourself to eat so you get your moneys worth. The service could be a little better, the couple times we went, the servers can be a little neglectful when you need something or trying to call them over. The soju is overpriced unfortunately... None of the less, i will still always come back. The karaoke rooms are so fun too btw! Don't forget about that!

Great AYCE BBQ joint. Not that big inside, as such we opted to hangout at the bar and down some soju while we waited for our table. It's dimly lit, I think it's that way to make the place appear intimate, and it is that way if your are focused on your own group and the cookery that was about to begin. We sat down, and our server asked us how we wanted to proceed - basic or premium! We were there to go big! She got us our side dishes, rice, waters, and kept the kimchi coming. The premium only allows for 2 galbi strips per person so keep that in mind if you were just going for the galbi. On this trip we tried the galbi, the baby octopus, and the sam-gyeop-sal (pork belly). It was all good, but I have had thicker pork belly strips. Also, I feel like you can get a bigger selection at other places (i.e. Two Pocha, etc.). That said we didn't stop ordering... and unlike the other Pocha place, I didn't feel like we were on the clock. Our sever was great...she kept the grill changes fluid, and kept checking in on us. We ordered a fantastic Yuk-gae-jang stew to mix things up. It was all good, but it took a minute to get out to us. The spicy pork bulgogi was good, and the brisket was a good meat to order if you want things to cook fast. I ate to my stomach's fill, and then some. Would I come back? If some friends are in the area are interested in AYCE Korean bbq, this place would rank in the top 5...especially since it's the closest. The shaky thing is because of its size, you might have to wait. If you don't mind the wait, they do have a bar and plenty of K-Pop. I've waited longer in the NCR. Definitely consider this spot...especially if you're in the mood for norebang...which they have next door. Pro tip: Be ready with your next order of meats so they can keep the meats coming. We went with a Yuk-gae-jang to keep us busy, but it didn't come out fast...just keep that in mind.

Went in to order the yukgaeyang and tofu seafood stews and they were bland and there was no brisket found! They also claimed the yukgaeyang had brisket but there was nothing. Also ordered corn cheese and it was just mayo and cheese.. no flavor. Bad food is one thing but the service was bad. Waitresses got upset that we did not like the food. Also there was a basket with cabbage soaking on the floor in an open space right next to their restroom. Major health violations going on.. terrible!

Im happy to see that there are a few Korean BBQ spots open up in San Antonio and I like that this spot is opened up really late. I picked up a friend around 9pm from the airport and took them here. We had a good time and it was fun, we got the basic unlimited KBBQ. The overall quality was okay. My favorite was the spicy chicken but which normally I don't order chicken. The sides were also just okay. The service was good they changed the grill a few times. It's really easy to spilt the bill as you have to get up and pay at the register.

    Ambient was not for me.

I would not recommend this place for Korean BBQ. I would speak highly of the customer service because they are a great staff. But the food and ambiance, No! Let me tell you why. Each person no matter how many in the party pays at least $28.00 plus each for just the regular meat products. Not much of a choice of meats. The condiments are just okay. The ambience reminds me of a karaoke style dive bar with a dark and sleazy feel. There are many other Korean BBQ that may cost more but also worth your experience.

Great place for karaoke (ranges $20-$30 an hour) with no wait any of the times I've gone. I haven't had any of their food yet.

My search led me to Nuttin Betta....a fitting name, because you really aren't going to find better Cajun food in these parts of Texas. I ordered carry out online through Uber Eats. The ordering process was easy, and the employees actually read my notes requesting hot sauce and utensils. Attention to detail like that is crucial when you're ordering carry out. The restaurant itself was very clean, and it's clear the owner takes pride in the appearance and experience they give their customers. I'm excited to explore more of their menu.

Well today I made it my area cause I came out that way just to eat there. Being from New Orleans I always try to his Cajun spots and support. So was glad to make it in. My son and I were greeted as soon as we came in. We grabbed a seat and they offered us drinks as we waited for his mom to join us. Not a huge place and there was steady business between to go and people sitting in. The music was on point. And there were many relics of home. The pictures of the projects from NOLA on walls on to the bathroom made me pause and take them in. If you know you know. As for the food, my son got chicken tenders, his usual, I got a fried catfish and shrimp plate, a bowl of gumbo, and 3 of the Cajun dry rub wings. My son's mom got a crab and shrimp boil. My son's tenders were legitimately huge. He got 5 and could only finsh three. This is a kid who eats 20 McDonald's nuggets. So they were huge loI I tried the gumbo and the first flavor I got was red beans and rice. But it worked. The roux was more subtle but it had a good bit of shrimp and a lot of sausage. And a couple crab legs. I did enjoy it. Not the best gumbo I've had in San Antonio but I'd still order it every time I eat here. If you get the Cajun dry rub wings, do not inhale before, during or after you eat them. That rub will spice your throat quick lol make sure you drink something in between. But they were fine. The shrimp were fried perfect. The cafish was fried harder than I like. But thats a preference. It tasted great but I like my wings crispy and my catfish just lightly coated. Cause when you eat the tail it's like just a big crunchy with no meat cause it's all fried out. Again my preference. It was still very good and the meaty bits were delicious. I tasted some of the boil and it seemed the seafood might have been boiled then had the sauces poured over it? The shrimp didn't have a lot of flavor on their own unless you dippwdy them in the sauce. My son's mom said she felt like that about the whole boil including the crab. Tasty still tho. Oh their sweet tea, swamp water and kool-aid all get high marks. All in all so glad I came and will be back. Preference things aside it was really good. Maybe when gas prices go down haha jk y'all got a fan.

We were the 1 of 2 cars in the parking lot. Upon entering we were greeted by a young man who escorted us to our table. Maybe 5 minutes later our waitress introduced herself and we gave her our drink orders. She returned with our drinks and warm cheddar biscuits. We placed our orders then about 10-12 minutes later our food arrived. No complaints with any of our entrees. Each entree ordered was flavorful, right temperature and good portions. We aren't big eaters so we had enough leftovers for dinner or lunch the next day. The reason why I gave the waitress a B was because she did not refill our drinks during the meal. We definitely plan to return because we were pleasantly surprised the food tasted good. Also learned Monday-Friday they have a happy hour 3-6pm where they have 5 meals for under $15.
