    Seafood platter

We shared the platter. It was delicious! Only thing I was not super impressed by was the fried catfish. Maybe it was an off day. But everything else was stellar!! Can't wait to come back!!

I've never been disappointed ordering from here! I haven't dined inside, so I can't comment on the environment, but the food is always leaving me wanting more!

Cool spot to enjoy some Cajun cuisine. Prices are reasonable. Food is flavorful. The service was great. Friendly, attentive, and courteous. Only knock is that the crawfish had an overly fishy taste to it compared to most other places. But overall, Nuttin' Betta was great

I was very happy to see this place and the service was great! Food tastes just like back home in Louisiana. Prices were pretty good as well.

Listen! If you're missing New Orleans and you miss home, just order the number 1 and get a Catfish Fillet on the side and get yourself some sweet tea or Kool Aid, hands down, can't wait to come back, I don't want to leave this seat and drive home, it's so flavorful and rich, you'll forget you're in San Antonio. I promise you.

The lady at the desk was very helpful and very inviting. I appreciate that. I was sat and served right away. The food is good, good bang for your buck, the food is made at the moment you order. Their fried okra was great, they serve koolaid which was so good. I had a cup of their gumbo and it was also very tasty. Loved coming here, I believe is a family owned and operated and if you're wanting legit Cajun, this is the place for you!

    #5 signature special

Went on a Wednesday and the place was buzzing. There were several families dining and it was still kinda quiet which is a really good sign. People happily enjoying their food. The music was really good and I was seated immediately. Though she was busy my server was very kind and helpful. With an hour to close I did not feel rushed which is really cool because this is the kind of food you want to take your time and really savor. The menu was really easy to read and had lots of options and pictures across the top. They do have a wing special on Wednesday and poboys and a selection of boils which all looked very tempting but I opted for the #5 signature special offered as a fried, grilled or blackened. I chose the blackened ( it usually takes a little longer but is really worth it. The set up looks really familiar but I can't place it. I do want to come back and try the gumbo and Bourdain balls but I gave up beef and pork for lent. The atmosphere and wall decorations are friendly and playful, they definitely give the place a New Orleans feel. The seats are set up with booths on oneside, a single long booth seat with a couple of tables joining them on the opposite and standard tables in the middle, they definitely make the most of the space provided. All the food coming out of the kitchen looks pretty good, and I'm looking forward to my plate. Oh my goodness this is delicious. The flavors are well balanced without the blackening seasoning over powering the flavor of the catfish or crawfish. The dirty rice is the best I've had in a long time. I highly recommend this spot if you miss new Orleans or you want to be spoiled for everywhere else. C'est si bon

Services was good the girls were so nice and didn't mind my grandson touching everything lol we had the kool-aid it was soooooo good 10/10 and then we got the sea food platter with fried catfish, shrimp, fried oysters, and crawfish tails everything was really good the side were red beans and rice and Mac and cheese the Mac I give a 5/5 the read beans and rice I give a 8/10 but all in all everything was good

    Megan M.

The restaurant wasn't busy when we got there..it was one table with some people. But we couldn't pick a table to sit at. The drinks were self served. We seemed kind of rushed to order food. The red beans and rice was on point! Very flavorful.

First time here and everything was delicious. The sauce for the seafood boil was so good. Lots of garlic and very seasoned and not overly salty. I went for a healthier option and got my catfish and shrimp grilled instead of fried. Again, lots of flavor and hush puppies had a hint of sweetness. I wished they were closer but will make another trip over this side of town to eat here. Service was great and the ambiance was very casual and a lot of art on the walls that were New Orleans inspired.

    Gumbo
    Courtney T.

First time visitors and we were thoroughly impressed!!! -Gumbo was HOT!!!! And, I mean "Hey, while it's cooking, can someone spoon out a serving for me" hot! It was full of flavor too. -Hushpuppies have corn in them, which explains the sweetness. -Catfish was seasoned well, but as another post stated, were on the smaller side for an entree. -Fried Shrimp was jumbo with good flavor. -Jambalaya was just OK-a few flakes of chicken & sausage, but 90% rice....but again, it was hot. -Red Beans could've used more pot liquor. Glad it was noted on the menu that it didn't come with sausage because that would've been foul. -Mac & Cheese was not oven baked, kinda like Chick-Fil-A, which was disappointing -Sweet Tea & Kool-Aid were both on point. We'll definitely return!

Catfish & Shrimp with mac n cheese and red beans and rice. My apologies for eating before taking a photo of my food.
