I took my car to one stop auto,to have my brakes repaired. It was done last May of 2021. At the time I picked my car, up Greg,(manager) informed me that they replaced my front rooters and brake pads. He said my back brakes were good for another 8,000 miles. The car was fine until April, of this year, and that's when the steering wheel started shaking when brakes were applied. So we had our back brakes and rooters changed. We never thought it could be anything to do with the front brakes, since it only had been a year since they were done. (Just to add we don't drive the car much so it hadn't even had 8,000 miles put on since we had the front brakes done.). We went back to One Stop Auto, Greg said that he couldn't fix them because 2 bushings needed to be replace, and they would have to be done before fixing the brakes. Of course that charge was 490.00. Also I had lost my receipt, but was able to get the record of charge to my bank account on May 8th for 480.91 from one stop auto. Greg said he couldn't pull the receipt because his computer crashed and he now had no records. Of course any one in business knows that you always have a hard copy for audit purposes. We then took the car to the 2 places to confirm that Greg, was being honest,and they both said yes, we did need to have the 2 bushing fix. But that had nothing to do with our brakes. That out rooters have a 3 yr warranty and brake pads a life time. So Greg should replace them without charging us for the parts. Of course Greg is not honoring the warranty. I would not take my car to them for any repairs. They do not stand behind their products. This is not my first experience with him. We had also had a issue with our engine. He went from 2300.00 to 4,000.00 to ending up costing 700.00. I would not have gone back if it wasn't for the warranty that he's not honoring.!!! read more

Let me start by saying that there is not a lot of places like this out there. Louie is an awesome dude along with his team. After my service he said if I came back with a simple little part for my tailgate that they'd fix it for me. The next day I got the part and they fixed it right on the spot, no charge. That's the kind of service that you don't see anymore and I was really happy to see this, I didn't even ask for a free bee they took it upon themselves to do this and these things do go a long way. Brought my vehicle in to fix the spark plug that was showing up on my engine light and took it to two places for a quote. Pepboys gave me an estimate of over $1000 to fix. They said my spark plug on my 6clin was out and recommended to replace them all. I didn't feel right about the price they quoted me so I paid them $60 for their time and left. I took it in to One Stop Auto and they found out that it was NOT the spark plug but a hole the boot. Price was by far cheaper than Pepboys! They even gave me the boot afterwards and showed me the hole. I will for sure be their client going forward. I will also start taking my vehicle there for oil changes. I recommend this place. Although they couldn't figure out the rattle noises that were coming from under my vehicle. So I'll most likely just take it to a different shop that specializes on alignments and suspensions. read more

Wow, this is THE place to go if your car is feeling a bit under the weather. A/C on a 10 year old car went kaput, and the F___ dealer nearby said $2,500 (minimum!) to fix the various broken parts that they claimed they had diagnosed for $130. This seemed a bit much, so we got a second opinion from Dick at OSA. Long-Story-Short, what was supposed to be a $2,500 repair was an $800 repair/replacement for a part that the dealership mechanics didn't even diagnose as being the problem! Now, we know nothing about the magic that makes a car go vroom, and Dick could've given us the runaround, but he didn't, and that speaks volumes to us. Car sick? I have never taken the time to write a yelp review, but I have taken my cars to one stop several times with problems each time only to receive excuses Today, I came in for an oil change strictly out of convenience and with other people waiting the owner just sat in his office talking on the phone while the customers had to wait. I walked out the door and went to Jiffy Lube, they had several customers but spoke with me immediately The last time I was at One Stop Auto a few months ago, they were asked to replace my air filters in which they said they did and they charged me for them. I just learned from the manager at jiffy lube one of the air filters hadn't been changed out for at least a year and the other one had never been changed out as it was still the original filter. They were filthy, that's not only criminal but so unprofessional!!! Obviously I won't bring my cars back but I felt compelled to say something as well. These guys are super nice and quick at their job. There is no funny business or scamming here. They are upfront and will explain down to the smallest detail of what they are doing. There is a place right next door which is a scam and will keep your car forever. Skip them and come here!! $34 for my oil change. Dick, the guy up front likes to talk your ear off! I went to One Stop Auto about 3 yrs ago when I had a control arm replaced, the price seemed reasonable but then I kept feeling a glumpity sound on the same side. I took it back and Greg rode with me saying he heard nothing. I didn't go back, dealt with the noise. I returned 2 weeks ago because I wasn't getting any cold air from the a/c on full blast. Greg tells me I'm out of freon, after doing a diagnostic test. The price was fair. Cold air at 40degrees! 2 days later, hot air. I returned, Greg says the a/c compressor is out, quoted me $733. I left to get more money, just 20 min later, something breaks in pieces while I'm on the freeway, I pull over, the compressor broke apart, I called him asking if his guy loosened or touched the compressor he says 'no'. I had to have a friend assist getting my car home and he saw that the compressor nuts all came out and there was only one sprader valve replaced not both upper and lower, wasted money on Greg had to redo all again plus buy a compressor. I started to go back for other work but after this, I won't be returning. read more

Basically all the other negative views sum it up. They robbed and cheated me. The dad that runs this place should be ashamed of himself. But the way he talked my ear off for 2 hours I feel like he really believes he is a good person.. don't pay for diagnostics there, I paid 115$ and all they did was drive it around the corner and popped the hood,but that's not even the end of the story.. I can't stress enough not to go there. They talk like they are the most honest people on earth and will turn around and cheat you. They should not be allowed to run a shop... I found a good place called Dads garage, should check it out, great family oriented place that won't rip you off..only good experiences so far.. Update to responds to owner: you sir, are the BIGGEST Liar I met. I didn't wanna bring this to the yelp review but I have you on my dashcam video cam (which I turned around) turning off my codes driving the car around your bay. And then you pretend that there are no codes, claiming you fixed them. You just couldn't admit that you did not fix anything and both codes were still there. I also have print outs of my 2 codes that I needed worked on (evap system leak and too lean) before I went to your garage and I have more from after being "serviced" by you. And guess what? They are the same codes!! Don't worry this is not the last you heard from me, at this point I'm more concerned for other customers that potentially fall for your long speeches about how good of a guy you are and how honest... They showed me how bad my pads were and I was able to watch what was going on as other shops won't even let you near the garage. One stop Auto was brought to my attention by my nephew whom couldn't stop praising the shop. So I had an issue with my oil and coolant sensors as well as I needed a gas cap. I was going to do the repairs myself which would have come to approximately $100. But I chose to see what the attraction to this shop was. I was told the parts would be easily ordered and the work could be done in a couple of hours. I was then called because the parts could not be ordered easy and that additional parts were added to the repair. What started out as a 2 hour minimum low cost repair turned into close to $1,000.00 ? Furthermore I would suggest if you have money laying around you can burn. Take your vehicle to your dealership instead. read more

I went to this shop because it had the best believable ratings online, and I was very pleased with my selection. I had a check engine light on and my car was leaking oil and antifreeze. I thought I knew where the oil leak was coming from, but I was wrong. It ended up being a quick and cheap fix, but the anti-freeze turned out to be a more difficult problem. They quickly diagnosed both and called me with a quote. They came in right on budget and had the work done fast! As with any mechanic, they get negative reviews "my check engine light came back on blah blah blah." Nobody is happy when you fix one problem just to find another. Hopefully, you can see through the BS like I did. These guys were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure I understood the problem fully. This auto shop is one of the very few good ones. Was referred to them by a friend they saved big time by finding a cheap engine after his 2011 f150 failed. My engine light came on in my 2013 f150. Took it to 2 other shops including the Ford dealership and was told I needed a turbo kit phasers and timing chains 6k. Ford said i needed a new engine 12k and kept my truck 2weeks. Took it to these guys and they diagnosed the problem (2 cyliniods) and my truck runs perfectly. They saved me big time as I use my truck for work. read more

Greg and Louie took the time to explain everything (in detail) that was wrong with my car and what it'd take to fix it. Didn't have any issues once all was said and done. Granted, it took a little longer than expected but well worth the wait considering i had a few issues with the catalytic converter/valve cover. Louis was also a great help. It is very hard to find mechanics that you can trust. I have had horrible experiences searching around town until I came across this place by a recommendation. I have been in multiple times since then and everytime I have been very pleased with the fair prices and hard work and attention put into the work. I bought a Dodge Nitro that was in worse condition than the seller admitted. The staff at one stop auto has made sure to show me the issues and walk me through what they are doing and never have added any hidden fees or done extra unnecessary work. Greg is very friendly and will take his time to make sure you are not going to be coming back twice for the same problem. I highly recommend these guys! Came in for a noise while driving on the highway and in parking lots over stupid speed bumps making creaking noises... walking in off the street I was welcomed by Greg almost as soon as the front door was closing. Explained my issues and he had me fill out a paper with my info, gave him my keys walked out to go get a coffee at Starbucks a five minute walk away.. 45 minutes later I was called to come back to shop because they found out the issues I was concerned with... the full inspection showed that my performance suspension bushings were all a little dry and instead of the "you need to spend money on all sorts of parts" I got the "we lubricated all the moving parts and you are good to go" I only needed to pay my diagnostic time and was happy to because I no longer have any noises! I would give this establishment 0 star for everything.... first of, the owner is very arrogant. I went to this shop for car troubles when my car started leaking out water which possibly came from the thermostat hose. They had me signed a form and I thought that might be if they start the work. I had second thoughts but I went ahead with it. Dick came back with a diagnosis to replace the thermostat housing with an estimate of $595.00 with a note at the bottom "may require additional other parts... As a customer I have the right to ask on how much it would cost in the event that the "additional parts will be replaced... "anywhere from 100 to 200 dollars" was Dick's response. I find that quite strange..... he knows what these "possible" parts are so I thought to ask if he can just discount it if it comes up to about an additional $100 which he literally said outright... "I can't do that... who knows.... I might find something else if I open it up and it might cost a lot lot more" in a truly arrogant tone. In my mind... this is the kind of Dick you don't want to deal with. So I said then I will just have the car towed to another shop. While they are getting the car ready to be towed, I was led to the office and was handed an invoice for $69.95 for diagnostic test. So I made a comment .... you should have informed me as a customer that you charge for the test. And he remarked.... if you go to a doctor and get a diagnosis, shouldn't you pay??? I thought... I should not waste a minute being in this person's presence. I may have been ripped off for that $69.95 but I save myself a lot of trouble and aggravation and an even bigger rip off. Even with that strange note at the bottom of the estimate, in my mind they are still worth the diagnostic test that they charge you only because they also save you from giving your business to them which will cost you a lot lot more... SO BE WARNED!!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE DIAGNOSTIC CHARGES BY NOT GIVING YOUR BUSINESS HERE!!!! read more

One Stop Auto is the only repair shop I will ever use! They have proven to me that they are the most honest and consistently knowledgable mechanics I have ever dealt with. When a dealership told me I would have to replace my AC compressor for $800 I took it to One Stop where they found a small leak, plugged it and recharged my system for under $50! They bend over backwards to fix my problem the first time and go the extra mile to get my car repaired and back to me in the time and at the price quoted! I was referred to One Stop from a client of mine that said that they, and their adult children, have been using them for years. And now, so have I, for our two vehicles. At least 7 or 8 years I would say. Always show me my bad parts, when possible, and I never get the runaround on anything. I know I am going to have a diagnostic charge,which is standard in the industry, and it still baffles my mind that people's heads come off when this is on their bill and they complain about it. It's 2015 folks... Life is not free! Dick is no nonsense, no fluff and a busy shop. 25 years in business says something about his integrity and reliability.
