We were recommended to General Transmission and the quote was considerably less. They originally scheduled 2 weeks for repairs but the Ford parts were defective and they had to rebuild the transmission again at no additional cost. Additionally, the starter and other parts required replacement and they performed the work for cost of parts only. They have a 100,000 mile/3 year warranty. Our Expedition runs well for the first time since we purchased it. We highly recommend General Transmission.

I called to make an appointment for fluid exchanges as my car is nearing 90,000 miles. Before they scheduled the fluid exchanges I requested, they offered to do research to look into my specific make, model, and year to ensure that the items I was asking for would be due and pertinent. They called back within 10 minutes, gave me the research the found, and suggested a transmission exchange service and brake fluid exchange. I dropped my car the morning of my appointment and they were done before 2:00. This is the first car shop I've been to that doesn't smell of oil and tires. And the men behind the counter were dressed nicely in button down shirts with ties. They explained what the services would entail and what they should help with. And boy did my car sound and drive better than she has in a while! I recently went online to schedule an oil change and it was the easiest scheduling platform I've used.
