Jon and his team pruned three trees - one in front of the house and two on the side street as the branches were well into our lawns. Jon is a friendly guy, gave us a quick estimate (price was certainly modest compared with other services) and scheduled an appointment within the next few days. On the day of serviice, he picked up the tree pruning permit from county promptly before coming to our house. Although they were a little late to start their work (as they had another one in the morning), the work was well done. They cleaned up all the dead branches and leaves before leaving. Jon from One Two Tree Care just removed 3 palm trees and trimmed a tall tree for us recently. We are very happy with the great job of his crew. We got 4 estimates for our project and Jon's came in as a 2nd lowest bid. But one of the main reasons we picked Jon was that he was very responsive and great at follow up. He would text or call to confirm our appointment and also let me know if he was running late. He respects people time which we like. He's also very professional with a big smile so he's definitely a people person. Having worked in the services industry ourselves, those were very important to us. The crew (Jose, Alex and Eli ? ) were also very professional, pleasant and easy to work with. They would try their best to accommodate our request on trimming the tall tree. I just had Jon D'Gandara of onetwotreecare.com prune a couple of trees on my property. He and his crew did a fantastic job. I am totally, 100% satisfied. He worked with the City of Fremont to get the necessary permit for the street tree. He also worked with me on getting the approval for the 50/50 cost sharing program by the City of Fremont. The work that he and his crew was outstanding. I am very familiar with making pruning cuts on fruit and ornamental trees, so I can tell that his team did an excellent job of pruning the trees properly. His crew also cleaned up all of the trimmings and hauled them away. They even cleaned up the mass of leaves that were already present before his team showed up. You can't tell that a team of tree care specialists were ever on the property.....except that the trees look great and the yard is really clean. One last point, one thing that I really value when I work with a contractor is communication. Jon was very responsive to e-mails and phone calls. Great company. They were in my neighborhood to trim a neighbor's trees (which they did beautifully), and I talked to Jon about some things I needed done. They quickly trimmed a 30' tree which I wanted reduced in size, removed another tree completely (without removing the roots, because a fence and sidewalk were over them), and removed the waste, all for a very reasonable price. I think this might be only my 2nd review on yelp...ever...and these guys deserve it! My wife and i recently moved to Los Gatos off of Summit Rd. and Hwy. 17...with almost an acre, we have a ton of trees. Jon was very quick to respond and met at the house so we could walk the property. The selling point for me was when he did not recommend doing certain work that was unnecessary and costly. I thought there were a number of trees that should be trimmed and/or removed and his response "that's a waste of time and very costly, there is no need to perform that work now...maybe in a few years". He very easily could have taken advantage of the situation, but he did not. As for the quality of work and professionalism of the crew...10/10 stars! Not only did they perform the work on time as promised, they also took care of a few "extra" items at no charge. As for pricing, it was right in line with what i had budgeted. Having had a tree trimmed in San Mateo, its now clear i was ripped off by another company. With Jon and his crew, you will get great service and fair cost. These guys know what they are doing. I highly recommend, and will definitely use them again!
