One Veg World (formerly known as One World Vegetarian Cuisine) is a long-standing, 100% vegan restaurant. Founded in 2004 by a visionary artist and a vegan chef (Taou). It's inspired by the teachings of Supreme Master Ching Hai and focuses on compassion through meat-free living. The interior is eclectic and tropical, featuring a Tiki-style hut, parrot statues, and paintings. It functions as a hybrid space with a mini-vegan market selling frozen items, snacks, and books. Staffs are warm and welcoming, though service can be slower during busy times. They have lunch specials and a monthly Sunday breakfast. The pricing is moderate. Food is acceptable, but was slightly marred by being excessively saucy and having an overpowering, rich flavor profile. Restaurant is located in a strip mall with ample parking.

My wife and I were first-time visitors to this restaurant. After reading many positive Yelp reviews, I knew that we had to make our way here sooner rather than later. The restaurant is a little dated; however, that did not detract from our positive dining experience. I ordered a Beyond Jalapeño Burger with a salad, my wife had a Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi sandwich with fries, and I also ordered Zesty Orange Chicken to go. I might add that service from the cashier, Ellie, also did double duty as our waitress, was OUTSTANDING! She was super friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our visit was a positive experience. THANK YOU, Ellie My burger was DELICIOUS!! It was so tasty and fresh, beyond my expectations. I also tried a bit of the Lemongrass Banh Mi, and it was so good. It was hard to believe that we were not eating chicken or beef, as we could not tell the difference. I cannot wait to return, as there are several items on the menu I wish to try.

If you are looking for the best vegan spot in West Covina look no further. The Lemongrass Chickun Banh Mi at One Veg World is delicious! It is made with sautéed lemongrass chickun, pickled daikon, carrots, fresh jalapeños, cilantro, lettuce, and vegan mayo on a toasted roll. It is served with a salad or side of French fries, which is what I chose. The chickun was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Not to mention the fries were crispy. Just the way I like them. Service was excellent and we did not have to wait long for our food. This is truly a hidden gem. Two thumbs up in my book.

Great prices and place! I have been recently vegetarian and this place only has vegetarian and vegan food. It's really nice because you don't have to worry and the prices are wonderful. I really enjoyed their jackfruit tacos and pasta dish. Inside there is plenty of places to sit. It has a tiki hut, which is fun. Generally the inside is a little eclectic, but it was clean and happy to go again.

I've been coming to this place since 2019. Food quality and service remain great! I drive an hour from Burbank to get here but it's worth it! Their royal noodle soup hits the spot especially on those cold days. Bbq drumsticks, and spring rolls are also a must try! You order and pay upfront before doing self seating. Menu is all up front and food comes relatively quick. Not too busy when I've gone and it's a nice casual place for a date or lunch with a friend.

Entrance: they have lots of Togo foods available which is so great to see!

This place is a MUST visit!!! Wings: Partner loved the wings "this is why you want wings". I felt it was a bit too real, so he devoured them. I loved that the "bone" is sugar cane tho, so innovative! Dumplings: I loved these! It's like a sweet desert for my particular taste buds. Mmmmm! Burrito: with a side salad, I felt it was the perfect amount of ingredients - and add in a tad of the hot sauce from the wings, mmmmmm! Overall: so thankful for spots like this that are truly out here nourishing our community from the inside out! 10/10 recommend! Service: we showed up 20min before closing, seats were all put away and ready for closing BUT the lady behind the register was so very kind and set us up a spot. We ate fast and valued every single delicious mouthful! So thankful!

This is the best vegan restaurant around my block , I enjoy the food options and every time I have friends come and visit me I bring them here. They also were super surprised with how many delicious options the menu has. Not only do they enjoy the environment but the great hospitality of the waitresses. They always want to come back to keep trying new things and I really enjoy having that feed back since it's hard to find more vegan restaurants around location. You must try the VEGAN JACKFRUIT TACOS ! 10/10 for me !

I always stop by when I'm in town. They have a great selection of plant based entrees, sandwiches and salads. My service is always good and pretty fast. The portions are generous and reasonable priced. They also have vegan food items such as frozen food, snacks, candy, etc for purchase as well.

A fully vegan restaurant that has a variety of menu options. Their attendant, Ivy, was kind and helpful. Zesty orange chickun was the choice for lunch. I would recommend this if you're looking for something sweet and savory. Plenty of seating during lunch and it was clean. It's also located in a business strip center with a lot of parking.

One veg World has a very relaxing vibe. My favorite corner is the seating area that transport you to a jungle like retreat, with many colorful parrot statues and paintings. I went there early. It was around the time they opened the restaurant. The lady who helped me, was very nice and friendly. She gave me some suggestions regarding my orders. I chose some dishes from the menu to go; - Everlasting Chow Mein; 5/5  Noodles with tofu, broccoli, beansprouts, cabbage, and carrots. It was very flavorful and the quantity was large. -Zesty Orange chicken -un; 4 /5 Crispy veggie chick-un coated with an orange glaze, steamed broccoli, and a side of brown rice. It was a savory dish, but the brown rice needed some flavor to add kick to the taste. -Burritodilla, 5/5 Grilled wheat tortilla filled with jackfruit carnitas, pico de gallo, avocado, sriracha mayo and melted cheeze. I enjoyed every bite of this burritodilla! It was well seasoned and very delicious. It was the winner! The restaurant was clean. There are frozen food section available as well as some grocery items and merchandise. It is a nice place that offers healthy and tasty food, in addition to their great service.

My Go-To Spot for Amazing Vegan Food! This place is truly one of my favorites! I come every month for their breakfast menu, and I can't get enough. Their wonton soup is incredible, easily the best I've had. As a regular here, I can say the food is consistently delicious, and the service is always warm and welcoming. What makes this spot even more special is how kind and community-focused they are--I even volunteer here from time to time! If you're a vegan (or just love great food), this place is an absolute must-try. I've brought all my friends here, and they love it just as much as I do. Everything on the menu is so good, and I'll continue coming back again and again! The ambiance here is warm, friendly, cozy, and impeccably clean--it always feels so welcoming! I absolutely love all the workers here; they are kind, attentive, and truly make every visit special. Whether I'm dining solo or bringing friends along, the experience is always amazing. This place has such a great vibe, and I can't recommend it enough!

The spring rolls were delicious and the tofu curry was amazing. Customers service was 10/10. The vibe was quiet which I always like when I'm enjoying a mean on my own.

Easy street parking on a Tuesday evening. We ordered a few bottled drinks: ginger lemonade, apple juice and water from the fridge by the register, along with spring rolls, chickun drumsticks, Indian tofu curry, lemongrass chickun and a slice of carrot cake to go. The staff was friendly and food was served quickly too. Everything tasted nice. It was strange getting yellow curry on a plate and eating it with a fork though, ask for a spoon! The lemongrass chickun is a little spicy and so good, recommended! The interior is clean. It has a small shop section on the right and the tropical decorated restaurant on your left. Would return to try other dishes.

I enjoyed the thoughtfulness of each dishes, as well as the trusting feeling of how the owner makes sure to get their ingredients from local farms with reliable source. I appreciate all the patience from my waiters. They do make sure I understand my order and receive what I order. Not everything is perfect though. For some reason, I never had good experience with the host. They always told me to sit outside and wait while there's many empty tables. This time the guy obvious took his sweet time and may had forgot I had come in to get table until all my parties went inside to wait right in front of him. Me with a big 9-month pregnant belly stood there waiting for him to take his sweet time to get us to one of many empty tables. That doesn't bother me much. I still believe in this nice spot for brunch and may get dinner next time.

The mainstays such as the porridge and lightly brothed side dishes are also things I look forward to. From various melons (veggie eg winter) and radishes and tofu, there are so many tasty options. There's usually a few wok'ed dishes but also a few fried goodies like taro sesame balls and crispy meatless meatballs. I also like the soup available tho I usually skip it unless it's hot n sour. There's also a ramen bar but I can do that at home as last resort meal, so I never understood why ppl do this. But thats just my opinion. But my favorite thing is the dessert and beverage bar. You can make boba milk tea with fresh boba and milk tea on tap. There's usually two other tea options in addition but the highlight for me is the shaved ice. With all the toppings to boot. Grass jelly, tiger sugar, condensed milk, custard and more. I can't describe how this always makes me excited to no end. Especially in the summer. The price has gone up to $16/person for dinner now, but as always no tip necessary so it's still a crazy deal in my opinion. The seating area is also small so if the higher prices keep crowds down, I'm totally fine with that.
