It's the closest thing your gonna get to Hawaiian food in the area. Service is always friendly and a little on the slow side. They have a nice variety of options and the dining area is clean and decor is fun. I really have to be in the mood for this food or already be in the area. I always order their seafood combo and musubi. What's more if your not a fan of the spam that typically comes in musubi, they offer chicken or beef. If you think Hawaiian food or BBQ in general is to heavy of a meal. They offer a healthier calorie conscious menu which is just as good. Is this the best Hawaiian food you ever had, no. I love this place and I live right down the street very convenient!!! Their food is excellent! I love their curry chicken, chicken katsu, and island fire chicken but they only have the island fire chicken on special occasion which sucks, it should be on the menu all the time. Mini Beef Plate was really Good. Restaurant was welcoming and clean plenty of seating. The cashier was nice and quick. Very Yummy...

I was initially unhappy with my to go order. I called in but got brushed off. I eventually spoke to the manager, Gabriella, and she was a consummate pro. She took my concern seriously and then made everything right. I received a credit and when I redeemed it everything was delicious. She deserves to be commended for her professionalism. Used to be one of my favorites. Still tastes great but they made some unexpected changes and did not mentioned then when ordering. It is a 14 mile round trip to get takeout from Ono from my house so I was a bit disappointed. I really enjoy the steamed cabbage and amazing macaroni salad in the plate lunch. Both gone. Now you get more rice to fill up the box and lettuce salad with Asian dressing. It was good but not what I expected. And did I mentioned they now charge extra for beef bbq In the pick two? read more

Great alternative to burgers, mexican food, and sandwiches. The portions are ample, the food is fresh and tasty. The prices are not cheap however you get so much food it is likely you could share a meal or take home left overs. Free refills at the beverage area and free flowing condiments. Fun atmosphere and quick service make it a fun place to go. read more

Food is out of this world in terms of taste, quality, portion, & overall satisfaction but the chefs and some of the servers at this location come off not trust worthy. That being said, I would rather take my chances of trusting people with the food I put in my body else where. read more

Decent food for the price. I drive up through the way for work and for some reason I always get hungry just about this part of town. There aren't that much selection besides the usual subway, Starbucks, Carls jr. So ono's pretty much it. It's the best fast food around this neck of the woods. So it gets 4 stars. i had to give this place 5 stars because the food is great and so is the service. there are times you'll be waiting for your food if its busy but its worth the wait. I would recommend the lemon pepper chicken. read more

We have been eating here since it opened. The last two times not only was the food bad but the service/attitude was worse. What has happened to customer service? In today's economy you would think people would treasure the job and treat the customer as such. We not only got wrong order twice but they were rude about it. The so called manager would not give us our money back and basically did not care. Contacted the corp office.... refund issue, thank you however I have to go back to the store. Got 6 phone calls from the store this am...with a incoherent message that I had to come TODAY cause the manager was in then. Not acceptable. Noticed the change awhile ago much be new owner or if new manger...they need customer service training. Sad cause I loved there food. read more

I ordered takeout from this location to take to a friend's house for the first time last weekend. Not bad at all, the portions were consistent and the food was hot and fresh. I appreciate the healthier option of the Aloha Plates that serve the cabbage salad with a light dressing in lieu of the macaroni salad, although it was hard not to order a plate that had the macaroni salad that I am so addicted to because there is tuna in it. The service was very friendly. They did get my order wrong, but since I happened to glance at the receipt while waiting for my order, the manager was able to correct it in time. A few customers were lined up waiting to get in at opening time and one of them had a large catering order. The family meal has gone up in price quite a bit, but I am sure this is consistent with all the locations. Glad to finally find this location since I am in the area quite a bit. My favorites continue to be the BBQ beef and the Curry Chicken Katsu...yum! read more

Really good! I had an island plate with BBQ beef and the spicy island chicken and both were very good with excellent flavor. It came with white rice and a yummy salad. I made it a combo to get a side of the macaroni salad which was delicious as well. It was a large portion that my husband and I shared for lunch. We'll definitely be back! read more

A great environment, but was a lil disappointed when I ordered the ribs. Very, very, very thin slices. The normal portion was 2 per plate and I had to order 2 more pieces which they charged me an extra $6. My plate was close to $15 and not worth the price at all. When there this weekend! Flies everywhere, I mean everywhere! We couldn't even eat our meal in peace because the flies were attacking us and our food. The food tasted good, but hope they can get that fly infestation under control. read more

We ate there for a few times and took out a few time. There quality of food and service has been consistently good. The price is reasonable.

So I get there with my family, the sign is flashing "OPEN" and there are patrons eating inside and outside, after waiting in line for more than 5 minutes to order because they were too busy cleaning the carpets outside with the cook having a look of anticipation to get get our order, to be told by this young inexperienced customer service teammate that would it be okay "to go". With a line of patrons still behind me I would seriously recommend the owner or upper mgmnt to hire people that day yes to business because at the end of the day. ..you take dollars to the bank and your food is not cheap, so for my family of three those combos and the patrons behind us that probably left too....you do the math and it if happens every day in one year or could be huge losses. Location was perfect, right off the Freeway on the way to the Railway Museum. traditional menu, didn't have too much expectations due to the location, honestly. Having homestyle hawaiian food, from Hawaiians, I have an honest opinion. So here is thr run down, we ordered the BBQ plate, seafood mix, mini chicken katsu- all rice, no Mac salad (way too partial to try this anywhere, we've been spoiled) and crab ragoons. Everything was moist, nothing overdone, well seasoned, katsu sauce was on the vinegar side but tasty, I didn't try the teriyaki sauce but no complaints from my hubby. 4 stars for the food, 3 because service wasn't all that great. one piece of advise, if you're working in a Hawaiian establishment, fast food or not- please learn the Aloha spirit! we did not hear once, "welcome to Ono's, how can I help you, do you have any questions about the menu (as we were fist time visitors), not a thank you," from order to pick up. Simple customer service tips, but also seems to be a dying trait. Just sad to get bad customer service from a place that should have aloha served with my mixed plate. Mahalo! read more

I used to love eating at this place, till the manager Kristina left. Now it doesn't seem like there is any manager going on at all. The cashier are kinda slow when you order your food. It's like they don't understand you. They are always making a bunch of mistake everytime I order. Since Kristina not there. When she was managing the store everything seem more organized and the cashier were more friendly and seem like they love their job. Now they all look like they hate their job. And a simply smile would be nice. I hope the upper corporate finds a way to get Kristina back to this location because she was actually doing something right. Not like the one they have now. Which they can't even choose which manger it is. Once one order is wrong there two manager that comes to me with the same question. How professional is that I don't need to talk to more then one manager about one mistake that their cashier did. It's ridiculous!
