For Hawaiian BBQ on the mainland this place was really good! I ordered the teriyaki and katsu plate and my husband ordered the seafood plate. We enjoyed all of it. The beef was tender and the chicken was juicy. And the portions were good sized too. The 2 plates we ordered were more than enough for this Hawaiian, her haole husband, and 2 keikis. We also ordered some haupia. The haupia was interesting. Half of it looked like traditional haupia made with coconut milk but the other half looked like it was made from coconut water since it was translucent. Either was it was really good. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 stars is because I was hoping it would have more authentic Hawaiian foods. And the staff was very nice and accommodating. My kids spilled their drink all over the floor and the staff came over right away and cleaned it up and didn't appear to be annoyed with my kids like I was. I'm a big fan of the Ono chain. This is delicious fast food that kicks the crud out of normal burger joints in terms of quality, portions, price, service, and variety. I've only ever had their mixed thing (I think a little under 8 bucks) which is chicken teri, beef kalbi, and grilled steak. All their featured meat+rice items come BBQ'd with a bed of cabbage, macaroni salad, and 2 big scoops of rice. Even though the portion size is pretty high, i suspect the calorie and nutrient profile is much better for the average person than an equivalent fast food joint. So, if you find yourself in a pickle between an Ono (or something similar?) vs. a typical fast food place (yes, including Panda!) go with Ono! Save you money, you'll get full, and you'll eat pretty dank stuff! read more

Not sure why It is such a big difference from the Menifee location...I ordered door dash from both this location and the menifee one only a couple days apart. I ordered the same exact pick 2 aloha plate at both locations. I got literally TWICE as much chicken from the Menifee location. I got two thighs of each type ordered from Menifee, only one of each from Perris. Got plenty of rice though if that's what you care about! Awesome food at a reasonable price. Came across this place for starbucks on the road to Arizona. Wanted something to eat and saw this place next door. Their bbq beef and teriyaki chicken is very very good. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. We were on the road so we didnt want to eat heavy so We only ordered one two-combo meal and surprisingly this was enough for the both of us. They put too much coleslaw for my taste, but I'll just ask to remove it next time. I definitely look forward to coming back here! read more

This place used to be soooo much better. They got really stingy with their portions; especially the Korean ribs and fill half the plate with cabbage. Still it is the best Hawaiian barbecue spot in the area but mostly by default. It is definitely a good alternative to most taco spots and fast food chains. When I first moved to Perris this one my favorite spot to go eat but they have slipped in not only the quantity they give but also the quality. Their chicken Katsu isn't what it used to be and it seems like they use a cheaper meat for the ribs. The last couple times I ordered the ribs, half of it was fat. Very disappointed.
