I would like to share my experience regarding the customer service I received today at your drive-through. I placed my order as I normally would at any restaurant. When I arrived at the drive-through window, I politely asked the employee if she could please add a Powerade to my order. She appeared visibly bothered by my request. I also asked if I could have salsa with my meal, but I received no response. When my order was handed to me, it was done in a rude manner, and the employee laughed afterward, which made the interaction feel unprofessional and disrespectful. I understand that many restaurants hire younger employees, but I believe additional customer service training would be beneficial. As a well-known restaurant chain with a long-standing reputation, I expect customers to be treated with courtesy and respect. I also noticed from previous customer reviews that this does not appear to be an isolated incident at this location. I hope you will take the time to address these concerns with your staff and reinforce the importance of providing friendly, professional service to every customer. Came by yesterday for lunch with my mom and little got to the drive through and we sat at the ordering speaker a good few mins before any would acknowledge us or took our order! Then we order the lady taking the order was extremely short and rude! Then we got to the window and boy was that girl extremely rude her name on the receipt was Cynthia! I truly believe all these people that work at this location need a special customer service class or they need to get a whole new group of people! I've never written a bad review but this experience genuinely disgusted me. There was a long hair on the box and on the plastic bag when I received my food. Workers were nice but come on!!! Mind you I'm a brunette and my husband is blonde so it was neither of ours. I typically don't make reviews at these types of places But every single time I come here I'm met by someone rude. I don't know what's with the attitude with this place but it is terrible every single time. I only come here every few months hoping that maybe the employees will change since it's a chain but nope every single time I'm met by rude employees, there's also been twice where I came in and the chicken was pink but I'm not going to go in and complain because to me there is no point when it comes to chains!! If you're going to be rude at least make the food good. I think they are in a rush to close when I come in because they always have the machines off and stay scrubbing the grill top! Pretty good Hawaiian BBQ! Was so hungry after church, I didn't take pics! We had a big group and that allowed us all to try a little bit of everything. The teriyaki chicken was good, but I really loved the island fire chicken (it's not too spicy, but does have a kick) and the Hawaiian BBQ beef. The food a few years ago was really good. The macaroni salad used to be great, but they've changed the noodles and made the noodles a lot small smaller not quite the same. The quality of the food used to be a lot better. It's still good but not quite the way it was before I still eat here, but it's kind of one of those last resort things when you can't think of what you want to eat. read more

After a nice afternoon hike, we thought it would be a great spot to refuel. However, the customer service was disappointing. Matthew, the cashier, a young man with curly hair, a backward baseball cap, a large nose ring, and facial hair, took our order. He spoke very quickly and mumbled, making it difficult to understand him. My husband had to ask him to repeat himself several times because we couldn't hear nor understand. After we placed the order, my husband pointed out to Matthew that he spoke too fast and was hard to hear. Hoping to offer constructive criticism and feedback. Matthew's response was, "Well, it is fast food for a reason; it's what I get paid to do." If he had said that before I paid, I would have walked out and canceled the order. When customers come in with hearing difficulties and need clarification, and you have an employee like Matthew representing your company with this type of poor attitude, you risk losing a customer. He was callous and rude, and the customer service we received this time was nothing like what we experienced during our previous visits. We won't be back. read more

really needs to improve their drive-through system. They have two clearly marked reserved pickup spots outside, yet they never use them. Instead, if your order takes more than 10-15 minutes, they tell you to come inside--even though you ordered at the drive-through. It honestly feels like they just don't want to use the tools they already have, which gives off a real sense of laziness in how the process is managed. I did the drive through thinking that it would be relatively fast considering there was only 1 car ahead of me. I couldn't be more wrong... Ordering was rough. I don't know how many times I said "Hi' may I please get 2 orders of the spam musubi..." and had to repeat over and over because the girl that took my order just kept cutting me off and was so rude ... Asked for a raspberry iced tea as well and I'm not sure how I can make it any clearer but she kept asking what kind... Fast forward toward the end.. waited over 15 mins in the drive thru line and not a single "hi we'll be right with you".... Or maybe take a payment or simple acknowledgment. Great food and my favorite Ono to go to because of their Drive Thru! Wish all other locations had a drive thru. The wait can be a bit but that's expected anywhere they're making your food to order and not just heating it up from frozen. Part of visiting Ono Hawaiian is to feel the Hawaiian vibe and mood.
