    Haupia, Bavarian crème, mango
    Stacey A.

Was in town and decided to try this place out. Very spacious interior with bright colors. Lots of seating and friendly staff. My family got the haupia, Bavarian creme, and mango. All were great and very filling. Our favorite was the haupia. If you're looking for some sweets definitely check this place out.

Went for the free malasada on National Donut Day they were giving out. Ended up also getting a Kalua pork sandwich. WOW! Nicely cooked kalua pork, slaw, and a slice of grilled pineapple on a malasada bun. Superb! I should've also had the fries. Everyone's looked so good. They are beer battered. I had the hash browns, which was like a hash brown cake you get at McDonald's. But it was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed it. My son had the Kalua Burger and it looked good. He was it was excellent. Great vibe in the store, fun and energetic. Order takers were friendly and happy. I hope they expand up north. It's great food. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I've had their sweet malasadas before and have been really interested in trying their sandwiches/burgers, so we finally decided to give it a try for dinner. We went through the drive-thru, and it did take a bit for our food to come out, but we were in no rush and they did apologize for the wait. We ordered the BBQ sandwich, BBQ bacon burger, and a side of fries. Everything was honestly really good! They use the same dough from the sweet malasadas for the buns, so it gave them almost a sweet buttery taste. Paired with the BBQ, it was really tasty. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They came with their spicy Onoh sauce, which was good, but honestly the fries were good just on their own. We'll definitely be back to try more menu items

I had a deal for buy any coffee drink and get a malasada free so I swung by the drive thru for my first time to Onoh's. The Nutella latte sounded good but I ordered it half sweet and kind of regretted it because it didn't taste much like Nutella. Still the flavor of latte and espresso was really good to me. The donut freebie was any plain sugared one, but I added some guava drizzle and it was delish. If I had more of a sweet tooth that day I would have added the coconut filling. I for sure want to come back and get it all. The staff at the window was friendly and polite. Ambiance of the drive thru at least was good vibes! They have punch card aka coffee club too, which I love.

This storefront has been open for two months. I'm part- Portuguese and from Hawaii and have had many a malassadas... good ones, bad ones, and filled-ones. I was visiting the area for the first time and this felt like a challenge all by itself. Leonard's Bakery malassadas are really soft with a lot of air pockets . There are also heavier more donut like malassadas. These are fluffy and in between. They also sell ice cream " sandwiches" and breakfast and lunch type " sandwiches" using the malassadas. It was nice walking into an establishment and there was Hawaiian music playing. We were able to sample our goodies while looking at the snow-capped mountains outside. PLUS: There's also a drive through for those very decisive people; if you can't make up your mind, park and order on the inside!

Food Quality: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 First a time trying out Onoh's Malasada and it was good experience overall. They offer the traditional malasadas with your choice of toppings and fillings as well as savory items, which is a nice change from a lot of other places! We got the Kalua Burger and the Kalua sandwich along with 3 sweet malasadas. The burger was good and well balanced, but the pork was overly salty - not sure if that's normally how it is or if we got a bad batch. Not the end of the world, but probably won't be getting that one again. The malasadas were made earlier that evening and were filled once we ordered. The staff were super nice welcoming and friendly the moment we walked in and the restaurant was well-kept. Would come back for the sweet malasadas if I'm in the area!

Definitely gives a nostalgic taste to the malasadas of Hawaii and it was fun but not sure it can be replicated to the island life. We had three different ones and a sandwich. The sandwich was good and had some fun unique flavors. I would say the malasada as an ice cream sandwich was the real winner. The sweet cream cheese was not sweet enough in our opinion. We had expected a bigger punch in the mouth sugar taste.

Onoh's Malasadas are definitely a fantastic treat on a cold day. Warm fresh made donuts warm the body and soul. I was meeting up with some friends in the area and decided to stop in to eat. In addition to the malasada's they have sandwiches and burgers. I thought the burger was ok, but you can tell their focus is the malasadas. I was really happy with the fries as well, breaded style and super crunchy with a great sauce. The restaurant itself is clean and simple, the design is for quick service, and fitting large groups can be a challenge if they are busy. The staff was friendly, and kicked out orders pretty quickly. I would suggest stopping by here if you have a craving, but not quite enough saved for a Hawaii trip.

Been coming to this place for years since they've been at their Provo location! SO GOOD. I cannot recommend their breakfast sandwiches enough especially the sausage and egg french toast style. They also just started serving fresh ground coffee and as an americano drinker, I can confidently say they're gooood. It's also a good place to hang out or come to work/study! This is also one of our go to places to cater for parties

Saw this on social media feed and decided to give it a try. The place is new so clean and bright. The staff were friendly and efficient. Now the food. It was below par. Had the hamburger and the wife had the bbq pork. They are nothing to write home about. Just a frozen patty on a toasted bun. The bbq was tasty but the sauce was runny and more of pad drippings than sauce. The bright spot is the Malasada donuts were good but just good. I would not drive out for them.

Such a cute little place!! Their fries were totally worth the drive! Their sweet treats were great too however next time I go I want to try a savory sandwich with the sweet bread! I heard from my friends I was with that was where it was at.

I am not sure what I was expecting, but I definitely thought they were in a more centralized location. They are not too far from State Street but not close to too many other businesses either. The great news is, they have a wide open parking lot with plenty of spaces. Their food truck is super cute. It hardly looks like a truck and resembles more of a massive wagon. They really went all out with the branding and I am here for it. With it being a parked food truck, they didn't have a lobby or an inside but they did have some tables and chairs right outside their truck. Upon approaching the truck, a guy came to stand beside me and take my order. I was not 100% sure what I wanted but I elected for their signature burger with fries. He said that he could bring it out to my car once it was ready, which I extra appreciated because it was not a very nice day out. My total was just shy of 20 bucks, at $19.27. I sorta understand. I mean, they're a local food truck and it seems that they strive to provide much better quality food than other fast food places...but this is pretty steep for just a burger and fries. The food did seem to come out pretty fast and I was excited to try it. The onion on the burger was a bit large, it was almost an inch thick and I think I would've preferred it cut up just a little more. The fries were pretty good but tasted a bit greasier than I would've liked. I did like that it came with a fry sauce. All in all, I really liked Burger Pioneers. I felt that all the flavors were a bit overpowering and almost bitter because of the greasy taste, but it wasn't a bad burger spot. I hope to be back when the weather is nicer with some friends. This is probably such a cute, fun spot in the summer time!

We ordered 2 burgers and we added bacon on both of our burgers which was extra. When we are our burgers, we couldn't even tell there was bacon on there. We couldn't taste it at all. It wasn't crispy. The bacon was really small and it was a cheap kind of bacon. We paid extra for it and couldn't even tell a difference. We ordered a side of waffle fries for our 11 month old daughter. Most of the fries were super hard and way over done. We couldn't feed them to her since she doesn't have all of her teeth. We ended up throwing them away because they were just so hard and not good. It is also super expensive. No fountain drinks just canned soda. Also, when we ordered nobody else was there and we waited so long for our food. We waited in our car since it was freezing outside but the service was so slow.

I ordered the Beet Salad with Chicken and it was delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and the chicken was cooked perfectly--it's a great choice if you're looking for something light but filling. We also got a side of sweet potato fries. While the flavor was there, they definitely could have used another minute or two in the fryer for some extra crunch, and a little more salt to really make them pop. That being said, the meal was still very enjoyable! It's a clean, inviting space with a menu that has something for everyone.
