We ordered 4 items to take back to our room for dinner. - Grass fed burger & fries 8/10 - Cheese quesadilla 7/10 - Buttermilk biscuit peach cobbler 7/10 (Biscuit was dry, but the peaches were delicious) - Four cheese flatbread 4/10 (Tasted like school cafeteria pizza)

Great room service. Quick and hot. Kinda pricey but it's room service, so... Reuben was bomb. Cauliflower was nice and spicy.

Yum! Not the quickest but good nonetheless. Quiet place to eat in the hotel during a busy Sunday.

This a quiet, upscale bar inside the Grand Hyatt. They have a good variety of mostly bourbon, scotch, and tequila. The ice cube with orange slices and cherries frozen inside was a unique touch to my Old Fashioned. Seating is comfortable, and service is above average. The ambiance is visually stimulating, but it needs a little music.

Onyx was renovated late last year and I have walked past it a few times and it looked really inviting. It was one evening in May that my friend and I decided to get a drink and dinner at Onyx. My friend did not want any dinner at first but I offered her to share my chicken quesadilla. The chicken quesadilla was really good. I had the mint julep and was hooked onto that since. A month and a half in Asia, I might have eaten way too much Asian food. Found myself walking over to Onyx and ordered myself a plate of chicken quesadilla and a mint julep. Both the staffs recognized me and welcomed me back. Yep, I have been going there to grab lunch or dinner every week in May and early June. Staffs are always friendly. I love the ambience and the best seats at Onyx are the ones next to the glass window where one could see the waterfall. Food are of good quality and the price reasonable. I will be back.

Onyx is located inside of the Grand Hyatt Atlanta Buckhead hotel. I ended up having a lunch order placed to-go on my last day. The hotel provided me with a few food vouchers because of some negligence on their part but nonetheless I decided to use them on my way to check out. The menu food items are selective but you are more than likely able to find something to eat. I didn't want anything heavy so I decided on the avocado crab salad which consisted of exactly that including chips. I can't lie I was expecting an actual salad with lettuce or at least kale lol. When I opened the box and saw that they just pretty much threw some crab and avocado on the top of chips I thought to myself "What the hell? This cost damn near $20 for some nachos" However I remembered that the hotel was paying for it anyways. I can't say that I'd order it again especially on my own dime. If you are staying in the hotel this place would be a great spot to have date night dinner because the ambiance gives a romantic kind of feel during the nice. If you get a table here request one by the window so you can see their Chinese Zen Garden and waterfall.

The Onyx at the Grand is a good spot to stop if you need a quick bite to eat or a beverage or two in a surprisingly friendly, unpretentious setting inside the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead. Our bartender was extremely friendly, without being overbearing. It was also evident that he was in a good mood, because his family was there at the bar while we were there are well. Now you don't have to sit at the bar while you're here, although it is quite nice. There are also various high top tables and lower, more lounge-y seats that provide a serene view towards the Japanese Garden behind the floor-to-ceiling windows. It's a nice atmosphere that you might not expect for a Hyatt bar. There's actually quite a large variety of items from which to choose on the menu; full menu served at the bar and at the tables. They offer many local, organic, and responsibly-raised food choices, such as polyphosphate-free shrimp, in their Red Romaine & Spinach Salad, which I had a really enjoyed. My husband had the BBQ Pork Sandwich, which was served on a delicious brioche bun, and had a nice hint of local Sweetwater 420 beer in the BBQ sauce. Oh, and the sweet potato fries were also nice. If it's potent potables you seek, the Onyx won't disappoint. I didn't have any adult beverages while I was there, but there are no fewer than 4 pages of cocktails, beers, and wines on the menu. There is also a companion coffee bar with a full selection of coffee drinks and pastry, muffins, etc. So, if you don't have time to venture out into Buckhead for a bite to eat, you want something quick that also doesn't feel like a compromise, the Onyx is the way to go, especially if you're a guest at the hotel.

Stayed at the Hyatt for a conference so I popped into Onyx a couple of times while I was here. The service was a little bit slow every time, and what I had was a little hit or miss. But I'm 4 starring it because the wings I had one night were pretty damn good. You can also order the smoked duck Mac N Cheese from Cassis which is always a good thing!!!! I have had wings all over town, and the lemon pepper ones here some of the best. There is the perfect blend of flavors, not too lemony or peppery, the wings are a decent size, and they are cooked perfectly. I also had an Ahi Tuna salad. The actual tuna was excellent, but the salad was really just doing the most. It had too much stuff on it. Next time I'll consider just ordering Ahi Tuna.

Great place to grab a late night bite. The bar lounge has a nice ambiance and the servers are really accommodating. We decided to try after a charity event that didn't offer food lol, first time for everything. We were very pleasantly surprised for a hotel restaurant. We had the duck Mac n cheese, chartruderie, cauliflower soup, scallops and flat bread chicken pizza. All delicious. The cauliflower soup was surprisingly yummy, duck Mac n cheese was out of this world and the scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Would def come back if in the area

Exquisite environment. Beautiful decor. Attentive staff who ensured we were satisfied. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Can't remember when I had a better meal. Praise for Brandi, our delightful server.

Sorry, future Terra Terroir patrons, that table is ours now. We'll let you use it when we're not there. ;-) Our server was very pleasant. Sorry didn't catch her name. Our dinner included the Oysters and Okra appetizer. Proof you can fry anything and make it good. But the mustard dip/sauce that came with it was excellent (I say this as a non-mustard person). My husband's entree was the scallops. He enjoyed them. I had the KC strip steak with smashed yukon potatoes and forest mushrooms with a sauce and broccolini. I was not a fan of the broccolini (a bit bitter), but the flavors /seasoning of the rest of the meal made up for it. I had a citrus and a hibiscus mocktail. Not bad, but probably would just get a Coke next time. I cannot say enough about the fresh bread and butter. Heavenly. But why only 3 slices for two people? I wish they would expand their mocktail offerings, but other than that, I'm glad we picked this place for our random Wednesday date night.

Some describe this place as charming, but we felt the opposite; the interiors seem tired and could use some polish and updates, and most table florals were wilted. The garden area has potential, but the mix of faux plants, dated light fixtures, and inexpensive tables gives it a less refined vibe. Menu-wise, prices don't align with plating, flavor, or overall experience. Even the wine list leans heavily toward entry-level bottles rather than thoughtful pairings. On the positive side, the host greeted us warmly, and we were seated right away (only two other tables were occupied on a Thurs @ 6p). Unfortunately, service lagged after that. Our server was pleasant but offered little guidance when asked about menu highlights ("everything" was the answer), water refills were sparse, and empty plates lingered well into the next course until we finally stacked them ourselves. Food notes: * Scallop & corn fritters - 6/10 ($18). Moist and flavorful but over-fried; plating felt amateur for the price, and the sauce was thick and dull. Honestly, LaGarde & Confab down the street both do significantly better fritters for less ($11), with a better vibe * Jumbo crab cake - 6/10 ($21). Nice flavor, but again, not worth the price. (Even Chops Lobster Bar charges just a few dollars more for a far superior experience.) The jicama slaw was fresh but overly soaked in sugar water * Burger - 9/10. The highlight of the night! * Salmon - 4/10. Overcooked, overly salty, served on plain couscous with the saltiest green beans I've ever had, all topped with a syrupy blueberry sauce. * Grapefruit & pomegranate salad - 6/10. Overdressed, with too much sweetness from the pomegranate-honey vinaigrette; the grapefruit tasted canned. Grilled shrimp were cooked nicely. Not sure how this earned an OpenTable Diners' Choice 2025 badge... it wouldn't crack my top 100 spots in Atlanta. And yes, a cat ran across the rafters mid-meal.

I'm so glad we listened to the other reviews and gave them a visit because our entire table of four had a lovely time. We started with drinks and I settled on a glass of wine. They had the exact type of sauvignon blanc that I wanted, which was an immediate win. As a group we settled on the whipped goat cheese and brussel sprouts for appetizers. The brussel sprouts came with bacon so I steered clear, but the others raved about them. The whipped goat cheese dip was also a nice choice with the garden veggies. Super creamy and refreshing. As for my entree I went with risotto of the week with salmon. It was absolutely delicious and I ate every bite. We had a birthday in the group so we of course had to get desserts. We shared the creme brulee and this super decadent chocolate cake. Both with fresh berries, love! The creme brulee was definitely my favorite of the two, but you can't go wrong. As for the space itself, it's beautiful. It gave off a sort of a modern farmhouse vibe with the wood and brick. With the twinkle lights and earthy touches bringing it all together. Our service was also on point. Jackson was awesome (as you can see in the other reviews) and kept the good vibes flowing all night. I would definitely come here again.

The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!
