Oori Triangles was such a treat! This location is on Shuttuck Avenue. The restaurant is small but the service is quick. Everything is ordered through a tablet. This is a to-go type of business. They had many options and since we wanted only a small treat, we ordered two Onigiris. The Spicy Ahi Tuna was my order and it was delicious! The fish is fresh, and the sauce mix is creamy and flavorful, with a slight spicy kick. The amount of rice is perfect without being overwhelming. My husband has the Double Unagi and wow it came with a lot of Unagi! The unagi had a sweet teriyaki sauce that wasn't overwhelming. We were impressed with the amount of unagi it had. I have to say their rice is also delicious. It is perfectly cooked, and the triangles have a great taste. Overall they have delicious Onigiri and I will come back again!

I tried the salmon this time, wasn't flavored well in my opinion, it was kind of bland but squeezed some lime juice on top and it helped! I wouldn't get the salmon again but I also got the short rib, which hit every time! It was nicely flavored and charred crisp in some bits

Tried this out on a whim and it wasn't too bad! A grab and go place with decent options and at a great price point in my opinion! I got the shrimp(lacking a little bit of flavor), salmon which I wished was raw plus the tuna which is my favorite! I like how the set comes with edamame as-well:) Would recommend if you're looking for a quick bite!

The spicy ahi tuna was my favorite! The service was quick and the staff was very kind. You order on a machine or you can order online for pickup. The beef was okay. They have big portions of edamame and the miso soup was good!

Oori Triangles is simple yet delicious! Oori Rice Triangles is exactly as it sounds, triangle-shaped rice with a protein filling of your choice. I especially love the short rib and spicy shrimp! The protein fillings are genuinely so flavorful and delicious! The triangles sets come with edamame and a lime and are literally so yummy and filling. They are the perfect snack or meal! Oori Triangles has a kiosk set-up. There is no seating inside but there are kiosk and online order options. They are always super quick and friendly! I definitely recommend Oori Triangles!

I love onigiri, plain and simple. Oori delivers everything I want and more when I am craving onigiri! This place is a grab and go spot with no seating inside. Since this spot is located on Shattuck, there are a lot of seating accommodations nearby. I usually eat these across the street near the BART entrance! Service is quick and your order will always be fresh! Some of my favorites have been the spicy tuna, grilled salmon, and short rib triangles. Ingredients are super fresh and good quality. I usually get a box of 3 for a meal, which also comes with a side of edamame. These things are so filling, don't let looks deceive you. Very hefty. I like to eat my triangles with wasabi and a little soy sauce (you can get packets in store when you pick up your order). This place is like a hidden gem. I am surprised that it isn't getting more reviews and whatnot! Definitely give this place a try if you are looking for some convenient, hand held items. Delish!

When I tell you this is a hidden gem. This is a hidden gem. The food was immaculate. As soon as I finished mine, I ordered one for the road. The service was great, as the guys were the latino, and for me being Latino it felt welcoming. This place was simplistic and delicious. I can't wait to go back there soon.

A small restaurant in downtown berkeley with fast and convenient service! We ordered on a tablet and food was ready in a few mins. My friend and I took the food to go and had a picnic. What we ordered: 1. short rib triangle The beef was savory and not too salty. Ratio of rice and beef was off, wish there was more beef. 2. spicy ahi tuna My favorite out of the 2. The tuna was fresh and covered in spicy aioli sauce, which was so flavorful. 3. chicken teriyaki plate Good portion for the price and came with a side of edamames

Came here for a quick bite. Got their salmon rice triangle. Pretty good! Wish there was a higher salmon to rice ratio.

Quick and tasty. Zero complaints for this place. The meat and rice is incredibly soft and well cooked. There's no space to sit inside though, more of a grab and go

I came here with a friend for lunch. I've been meaning to try this place for a while as it's so close to the BART station. The shop is small and we ordered in a kiosk and got our food about ten minutes after. We ate outside across the street, and the food was okay. I feel the rice to protein ratio is very heavy. It was a LOT of rice with little meat. Additionally, the meat was not anything too outstanding. It was not as flavorful as I wished. We had the spicy pork. short rib, spicy tuna, salmon, and unagi. I think the unagi was the best out of all of them, but they are not worth $6-7. I'm glad I tried, but this is not one of my favorites.

We went for a walk to get a snack and didn't know the area very well and saw this come up near us. It's a small place, but busy. You can tell that people know this place and it is a go to for some. The wait wasn't too bad, I wish they had more seating, but nonetheless the food was delicious for the price. It was a good portion, great spices and sauces and perfect for us to eat and then hit the road.

I've been passing by Los Moles for years and never stopped in until we had a graduation dinner…read morethere for my niece. The main reason I never went before was the parking situation, which honestly can be a little challenging, but for this visit we found parking down the block and around the corner. The short walk after dinner ended up being nice anyway. We had reservations, although we did wait about 15 extra minutes while another party finished their meal. My family member pointed out they were enjoying drinks, so that probably added some time. The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and clearly trying to get us seated as quickly as possible. Water was brought to the table right away, and our drink order was taken promptly. I ordered the chicken salad and was pleasantly surprised to learn the mango vinaigrette dressing did not contain oils, since I personally avoid seed oils. The salad was fresh and delicious. Some of my family members ordered the buffet, which looked incredible. At first it seemed like too much food for me that day, but once I saw everything included, I started thinking maybe I should have ordered it too since it was only about seven dollars more. They brought complimentary chips, guacamole, and salsa to the table, and everything was so flavorful. The guacamole was especially delicious, and they happily refilled the chips several times. I finally understood why the restaurant is called "Los Moles" because their mole sauces are outstanding. I got to try some from my son's plate, and it definitely made me want to come back and explore more of the different mole options. They also offer vegetarian choices, which is great. Although I am very particular about cooking surfaces, my food is cooked on and in, the Mexican coffee which was heated in some type of who knows what metal, had a good flavor. It inspired me to re-create it at home. Another standout for me was the freshly made corn tortillas served with the meals. They were soft, warm, and incredibly good. I also tried the beans, which were full of flavor. Overall, this restaurant really stood out in my memory, and I definitely want to return someday to try more moles.

It was a busy night with the place packed, but we got our food super quickly despite the hustle ~ impressive service kept everything moving smoothly. The variety blew us away on our first visit: tons of different meats seasoned just right, heaps of fresh vegetables, and generous portions of everything you could imagine. You can go back for seconds (or thirds) as many times as you like, and every bite was packed with bold, flavorful goodness. The horchata was a refreshing highlight too ~ creamy and spot-on. The busy, fun atmosphere made it an ideal spot to bring kids, with non-stop energy and satisfied smiles all around. We'll definitely be back for more of this taco feast! Highly recommend.

I'd thought the place had lost its touch, but maybe it was just an off day. Today in May of 2026 I've managed to visit while it's a slow day, and I was pleasantly satisfied with my food. I ordered a Carnitas burrito, and it was just as delicious as I'd remembered it one decade ago. While I was eating the first half of my burrito I was thinking "this is good, but burritos are good.. is it better than other burritos I've had, and why?" Something is different about burritos at Tacos Sinaloa, the food reflects that of some regional tacos trucks scattered throughout the East bay, but they're very distinct in how well they're capable of doing this style of Mexican food. As I said earlier- burritos are good. I think they are good because everything tastes good together, but not all burritos are created equal. The first thing that stood out to me about my burrito was the tortilla. It's not your standard tortilla, and it's nothing extravagant, but it seemed intentional. The tortilla is softer, thinner, and it holds up, but it's not chewy. It's there and it soaks up the oils and it doesn't take away from anything. In my experience, a bad tortilla can make a burrito less enjoyable. This tortilla adds in that it's barely there and it's pleasant because it soaks up the flavors without detracting. On the insides, the beans and rice can give or take away depending on where you get your burrito from. At Tacos Sinaloa on this particular day, the beans and rice did not take away from the burrito. The pinto beans were plum and creamy, and tasted like pintos. No nonsense- they added because they didn't subtract, I could go on about grainy beans or starchy over seasoned bean liquid, but NONE OF THAT HERE. The rice had perfect texture. It almost like 'al dente', but not in a chewy way, it had just enough rice texture and didn't get in the way of the other ingredients. It was mildly seasoned with your classic Mexican rice (aromatic tomato broth like flavor). No nonsense, no unnecessary spices, not over saturated in liquid, or turned to mush. Just good simply season rice. Cheese and sour cream- Salty Mexican cheese, presumably Oaxaca or something similar. Adds little salty flavor explosions throughout the burrito. Sour cream, added tangy acidity that cuts through the fatty ness making it taste more lively. Of coarse, the lovely creaminess. If you're not having your burrito with these I'm very sorry for you. The star of the show- The Carnitas here is just done right. It's not over seasoned with anything, it just tastes like melty delicious braised pork shoulder, then fried to accentuate it with crispy mallard bits that surprise you throughout the burrito. Towards the end of my experience I came to the conclusion that what makes a Tacos Sinaloa burrito good is that its ingredients forward- each ingredient tastes good on its own, and that can't be said for all burritos. It's not a burrito for the sake of being a burrito. All the ingredients seem intentionally chosen so that none get in the way of one another. I want to say they make the meat the star of the show, but even if you were to have a bean and rice and cheese + sour crème burrito here it would be an exceptional burrito, which is a testament to their culinary philosophy. Last but not least- yes they have salsa, and of coarse it's good, and I love that they give lemon slices with your food - it's another small intentional detail that they offer lemon instead of lime. Carnitas burrito 5/5. Sinaloa overall 4/5 because of inconsistency.

I've always loved their fish tacos, which to me are better than any I've ever had in SoCal, including San Diego! Like their other permanent locations, here you will also find tacos with various fillings, lunch plates and other items. Walk on in and you'll find an airy clean open interior with high ceilings and plenty of seating and tables all around. Scan the laminated paper menu at the counter. The menu isn't big, but it's rather focused. No burritos here, just tacos, sandwiches (tortas) and big plates! Vegetarian/Vegan? There are several tofu-based offerings and a bigger salad too. Order up at the counter, grab a pager, find a seat, enjoy the Latin music over the speakers and before you know it, your order is presented before you. Trying to stay "healthy", I decided against my all-time favorite Baja fish tacos, and ordered the Pollo de Cholita plate. With this you get a big boneless chicken thigh marinated with herbs and mild spices with white rice, beans (black or pinto), a side salad of fresh mixed greens and three delicious fried plantains. The chicken thigh is flattened thin, but was totally moist and tender and most importantly flavorful and not overly marinated on the tongue. The rice with black beans and mixed greens in a light vinaigrette were the perfect neutral companion to the chicken, with the plantains providing a lightly fried sweet contrast and finish to the meal..
