I had the worst manicure experience of my life at this place. To start, the nail tech cut me multiple times until I was bleeding, and she kept pouring antiseptic on my fingers, which burned like crazy. It was clear she didn't have the proper technique or tools to avoid hurting me. Nothing was sanitary. Tools were just sitting in a tin toolbox. There was no music, no ambiance, and only one manicure station--which looked like it had never actually been used and was basically a dust collector. Someone was getting their hair done right next to me while I was getting my manicure, which just added to how unprofessional and strange the whole setup felt. The salon itself was very run down. It took over an hour of painful tugging for her to try to remove my gel, and she still couldn't do it properly. She actually broke one of my nails in the process and then tried to casually suggest shortening all of my nails to "fix" it. After two full hours, I walked out with my nails looking worse than when I arrived. She also didn't know what an almond nail shape was (which is honestly shocking for a professional nail salon) and had no idea what a simple cat-eye design was--even after I showed her a photo. On top of that, I specifically said no cuticle cutting because I already knew she was going to hurt me, and she tried to argue that cuticles have to be cut for them to grow, which is just not true. Given how badly she had already cut me with the file, I had to stop her. To make matters worse, the parking situation is a nightmare. There's no parking lot, I had to park far away, and the area felt pretty sketchy at night. I didn't tip, which I have literally never done before, because the experience was that bad. Honestly, I have no idea how this place has decent reviews on Yelp. Zero out of ten. Avoid this place if you care about your nails, your time, or your safety!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

The nicest people ever which is why I'm giving 2 stars but I got a dip manicure and the entire set POPPED off in 2 days. I didn't even do any hard work or handling with my hands, the nails were just popping off one by one. My partner has been going to Nancy for years. Once he learned they reopened we went for pedicures together. Due to covid face masks are required, and I recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment. Keep in mind they need to limit the amount of people in the building at any given time. Services and prices are listed on the wall clearly for you. No hidden fees. The place was clean and spotless. Service was excellent. Will definitely be returning to Nancy. read more

Lucky me! I found a hair stylist I can go to for roots, high/low light, cut, and/or wash and blow and know I'll be pleased with the results. I've been going to Farideh for almost three years and she's not only fabulous with hair, she's sweet and so agreeable. Totally gracious. She does what I want, not - like many hairdressers - what she wants though we can discuss what length works best for me if I'm wanting a cut or what color best compliments my skin tone. I have curly hair and I am always worried going to hairdressers but Farideh is amazing at giving my hair a great haircut with lots of layers and a nice round shape. Both ladies were nice didn't talk to me or my boyfriend much. I got nexgen nails and they started coming off that night; when I've had these type of nails last me for almost a month. Also got a pedicure and didn't get the chair they just put my feet in some tiny bucket. She cut my big toe nails way to short & now it hurts to wear shoes. Overall not happy with this place. I just discovered OP Nails when my hairdresser moved into the shop and I met Lannie and Nancy, the two manicurists. They do a terrific job and they are so kind and sweet. I left the shop I was going to for 10 years because it's easier for me to have my hair and my nails done in the same place. They have been especially nice to me as a handicapped woman. Another plus is that Lannie does alterations very reasonably on the premises. They keep the shop very clean and all instruments are sterilized. I really like the dry powder Lannie uses rather than the usual acrylics and there is no odor. They also do gel nails, spa pedicures or just regular ones, facials and waxing. Best of all, the price is right and they take credit cards. read more

Worst manicure ever. I got a simple one color gel manicure and it was an awful experience. First, she kept shaping my nails super weird, so I kept asking if I could just do it and then she would go back behind me and make them weird again. Then she nicked my cuticle on one of my fingers and that was a week ago and there is still a visible and painful injury. Then she acted like she hadn't hurt me and kept using rough tools literally on top of the spot! I was wincing the whole time. Plus the manicure sucked!!! They welcome walk-ins, but I recommend making an appointment, as they can get very busy. The owner is also a first-class tailor, who can do anything from sizing a pair of trousers to designing a wedding dress, all at a reasonable price.
