I recently tried the nail salon right under my office after not getting my nails done for a few…read moremonths. Living in Santa Monica, I was tired of the sky-high prices at salons, so I decided to check this place out since they quoted me only $39 for a gel manicure - a pretty decent price compared to what I've seen in Santa Monica. The experience was okay. The gel lasted me about 2-3 weeks before it started chipping, so while the quality wasn't extraordinary, I'd say you get what you pay for. For $39, it's a solid deal, significantly when most salons around LA charge at least $50 for a regular gel manicure. This salon doesn't offer gel builder manicures, which last much longer but cost significantly more. If you need your nails done quickly and don't want to break the bank, this place is a great option. Perfect if you're prepping for an event or just looking for something affordable. Just know that the wear and tear might show after a couple of weeks, but it's hard to complain about the price!

The ones that did mine acted like they were mad. Maybe mad why they had to fit us in? I don't know but it was obvious they were mad. Manhandling & she even cut me, and waited until the very end of the pedicure to say sorry. The cut hurt! And she even needed to get up to get disinfectant & acted even more mad. She also stopped with the nippers after so the pedicure was terrible. One of my Big toes with the gel is all lumpy too. Luckily I have muiprocin at home, it's an anti staph ointment to rub my toes down with, otherwise I'd be really worried about infection. I feel like if she wasn't so mad she probably would not have cut me, & maybe done a better job? I only gave two stars because we were previously happy here in the past. Otherwise would be a one star. Quality - Elena (sp?) did my biogel removal portion. Beforehand, I communicated with her that parts of my nails are sensitive to drilling, so she was gentle. She was considerate to just drill the top layer rather than drilling everything and soaked off the rest of the biogel underneath - so that it could be less drilling for me which I appreciated. Then Dora completed my Dazzle Dry manicure portion. They were closing early that day, but she still tried to take her time. She also explained to me that very thin parts of the biogel was best to leave there for now since the layer was really close to my nail to drill and therefore would drill directly on my thin nail -I always appreciate a little nail health education. It is day 4 now so far and hasn't chipped. The biogel I've had for the past few months is obviously much more smoother, cleaner, and prettier application and than Dazzle Dry lol but Dazzle Dry is a decent option for its staying power. Dazzle dry appearance looks more like a 3/5, like it's fine, nothing amazing but Dora and Elena as workers are 5/5. Vibe - was a busy Friday during rush hour before the holiday weekend, there were more clients than usual and they were closing early too. Another client called for an appt and came really late so she was turned away because it was nearing closing time. My advice would be to use the Fresha app and stick to the time slot you scheduled.
