Love this place, owner is super friendly and the food is so good. Lamb sandwich is my go to thing, with a order of the eggplant dip. Food is good, service is fast, people are super friendly, and best of all it's cheap. Parking lot can get kinda full, so be careful with people backing out. Went for the first time with my husband on the day after our anniversary. We were famished from some wonderful fun shopping. Now it it was time for dinner and thanks to a recommendation from a shop employee we changed our dinner plan from Mexican to Greek. OMG ! BOY ARE WE HAPPY WE DID! My husband had a grilled chicken platter and I had a grilled salmon platter. Both came with lemon potatoes, greek salad, pita, tziki and were generous portions of deliciousness. My salmon was grilled to be moist and properly cooked and the chicken was moist and flavorful. We also had zucchini balls for an appetizer that were crunchy on the outside and light on the inside. Service was excellent, friendly and they kept the napkins, and waters refilled without asking. Also bathroom was very clean a plus in my eyes. We had to take home a baklava bread pudding. I am sure it it will be awesome. We will be back! read more

I was visiting family up this way and got the chance to enjoy cuisine from this eating establishment via takeout. I am disappointed I didn't take pictures of all the food ordered. Opa Greek Grill is dishing out some of the best souvlaki (chicken, lamb), falafel, lamb meatballs, gyros and the opa fries are amazing( reminds me of a Greek version of poutine) I think my Grecian friends would agree. WHERE IS THE OWNER???!!! We have had such wonderful experiences here before. Not tonight. We arrived to find the stools at the counter stacked and pushed aside, as well as several stacks of chairs carelessly strewn against the wall. It looked as though the place was just opening for the day and nobody had finished placing the furniture. As usual it was a busy Saturday night. Our waiter was not "waiting" on us at all and seemed not to care. Having owned restaurants before, naturally, I became observant.. We heard the bell ringing over and over again signalling that food was ready- yet did not see ANYBODY going to get the food nor bring it out. If we heard the bell, the waiter certainly heard the bell time after time, but wandered to yet another table to remove someones empty dish, then wandered to another to perform an equally unimportant task. Was this why we were still waiting for both our appetizers dips we'd ordered 30 minutes ago?? All tables now were full, but there werent any tables of more than 4 people at this time. Noticing several other unhappy tables, I went to the counter. There, I found the waiter, and another Latin man (who I later discovered was the new manager) joking around , speaking only in Spanish, not particularly focused... and unaffected by the constantly ringing bell or those waiting to pay their bill. A woman- who I have had as a waitress before-( but tonight-unfortunately for us, was answering the phone)- went to the waiting food, called to the waiter and asked where to bring plates of food ..apparently because there was no indication on the check. I was shocked to hear the waiter tell her not to worry about it. Then he walked away. Instead of delivering the plates of food, He left to bring straws to a table. The manager gave her the exact same response. The plates of waiting food built up to the point they were on the counter below. In the restaurant business, the MOST important thing to do ...Is deliver HOT food, ON TIME. Yet neither of them went to the food or came to me...still...at the counter Once the woman noticed me, I was IMMEDIATELY taken care of. Asking the caller to hold and Apologizing genuinely- she said she did not handle money and thought I was waiting to pay. ..Our food was out almost before I sat down. After that, I saw her on the floor twice, checking on customers, insuring they were taken care of. While I was waiting at the counter, I Observed much. The two Chefs worked tirelessly and VERY well together. They are IMPRESSIVE! and the food is wonderful, but tonight it was cold. The waiters gestures inferred that the work was beneath him and he was going to do WHAT he wanted WHEN he wanted despite others offerings to help. The manager allowed it... even after it was brought to his attention. Neither helped expedite the food delivery. The Grill has an "open kitchen concept" ...Its wonderful to watch as things are prepared...but it would be much classier if patrons could also UNDERSTAND all that was being said- instead of listening to ANY conversation in spanish. Lets hope the owner respects and enforces that. This business is in its infancy. The owner is a wonderful man... and when he is there, I have never seen the lack of regard that I saw tonight.. If he MUST leave, I hope he chooses NOT to leave on a weekend night. read more

Oh this place surprised me and was delicious! I didn't know what to expect. It's a small casual place but the service is phenomenal and the food was top notch. Our waiter was so friendly and was always making sure everything was just perfect. I had a salad that I intended on only eating half and saving the rest for later, but that salad didn't stand a chance. I devoured it. This is where you go to get a local Greek salad. The platters are super filling, the burgers are also delicious! I love the garlic flavored dressing that comes with the salads! They are consistent with how they make the food however I'm giving it 4 starts rather than 5 because sometimes the cashiers continue to hold conversations with their peers rather than focusing on the customer that walks right in. This place just opened 10/21/16, I ordered a gyro and saganaki cheese sticks, (kinda like mozz. sticks), to go. The gyro and tzatziki were very good, the gyro had tomatoes and onions, the meat was tasty, pita good. The Saganaki cheese sticks were okay, the potato garlic dip it comes with is very strong, which I liked alright, but maybe not everyone would. I think I'd probably try the regular Saganki cheese appetizer next time. I didn't order any but the backlava looked really good. I'm so glad that Warwick has a Greek restaurant, I love Greek food! read more

Ordered take-out last week and it was sooo good we ordered again the same week! Zucchini balls are a hit, nice and crisp on the outside with a creamy, mashed potato-like consistency inside...I'm thinking it's a chickpea puree with grated zucchini mixed in, whatever it is, it's good! Gyros were loaded with well seasoned meat, lots of fresh veggies, and the pita bread is delicious. Falafel was equally tasty, moist, with lots of flavor and a little kick (and I mean good flavor, not loaded with salt). The tzatziki was very fresh tasting and they put the sauce on the side for take-out. The girl who took our order over the phone was on point and the people who work there are very nice. Half of the chicken on my Souvlaki was VERY, VERY undercooked to the point of rawness. There's absolutely no excuse for undercooked chicken. I'm really lucky I didn't get sick I had a gyro from there recently and it was good, but both the Gyro and Souvlaki were too small, please start using larger pitas like most other Greek restaurants; I've never had such a small gyro or souvlaki from a restaurant before. I'm not writing a negative review for revenge or to hurt the restaurant, but to get them to fix these issues, because this could be a great Greek restaurant. The flavors were great, service was great, and it's a really nice clean restaurant. Just learn to cook chicken! I've had tons of Chicken Souvlakis from other restaurants and not once was the chicken undercooked like it was at Opa. Again, no excuse for that. read more

Impromptu stop for some Greek food. What a pleasant surprise. I had a salad with souvlaki chicken. My wife had shrimp santorini with onions tomatoes and feta cheeses and hand cut fries. We also shared a falafel with tzitzicki. Everything was absolutely amazing! We finished with homemade warmed baklava bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a greek style cheese cake. Have gotten takeout twice and it has been consistently excellent. Gyro platter, moussake platter, pastichio platter, galaktoboureko, baklava bread pudding. The platters come with a choice of fries, potato or rice, and a side salad and pita. I've only ordered the rice and it was delicious and fresh as were the salads. The salad dressing is really good and the pitas are the fat kind. The gyro meat was moist and well seasoned. The pastichio is delicious as well as the moussake - very fresh - they know how to make bechamel. . The baklava bread pudding is amazing! read more

We've had takeout from here before and ate in the restaurant this week. Inside is pleasant and waitstaff is attentive. Salads are super fresh and wonderfully dressed. The platters are delicious - French fries are great as are the lemon potatoes. The gyros are the weakest dish we've tried so far - our party has found them to be salty in two different orders. I would recommend all futures diners to almost all of the menu. Best tziaki (so?) I've ever had! We'll be back soon and many times in the future. read more
