This is the worst car servce!! We had a reservation confirmed for today and the driver did not show upnor did he or anyone contact us to let us know that he would not show up. I called Opoli ustomer service who said the driver had mechanical isses and there was no resuce car service available. She said she would give a refund, but now we don't have enough time to catch our flight. The customer service agaent also hung up on me as I was stating my frustration. This is unacceptable!! We will never use this service again!! I suggest you not use them as well if this is how thet treat their paying customers. read more

You should only use Opoli (which is also Shuttle2Anywhere and Shuttle2LAX - all the same business), if you don't care about reliability and good customer service. They are completely unreliable because you never know if they will actually show up. Don't waste your time and money! My experience - I scheduled a pickup to go to LAX about a week ago. Everything was in place and they even sent me a confirmation 1 hour before my pickup to let me know that everything was on schedule. It was great to get that confirmation. The only problem is 15 minutes before my scheduled arrival time they (Opoli) cancelled my ride with no explanation. What's worse is after they cancelled it they sent me a text "confirmation" of my scheduled pickup. But, it had been cancelled. So, this second confirmation was bogus and super confusing. I had to scramble to find another ride and ended up using Lyft, which cost me more than double my original fair. Opoli's customer support refused to explain the reason for the cancellation and refused to cover the additional expense. zero stars! read more

I have used Opoli many times. A majority of the rides have been great and the drivers professional and friendly. Prices are great.

Their prices are more competitive than Uber and Lyft, however their app and technology could use some upgrading. That said, I still use the service for the savings and am on top of it enough to make the service work for you. You do have to be more proactive and detailed than Uber and Lyft in terms of how to book and to meet your driver, however it's not a big deal understand it. It's essentially a car service from the time prior to Uber and Lyft. read more

I've used opoli a few times to and from LAX and west LA. It seems like it should work well: easy enough to reserve, clear pricing up front (even if there's an airport surcharge both ways...seriously?), and a decent selection of vehicle sizes. First, the good. My last couple trips to the airport have worked very smoothly. Drivers showed up on time and did their jobs properly - with the standard sort of variation in drivers you get. Now, the bad. 1) The app is terrible. It wants you to enter your fight information but it doesn't have an up to date fight list. What does it matter, anyway? This isn't 1992 when people don't know when to show up at the airport. The app also doesn't seem to get proper updates or work properly for pickup. It seems like it should work - you click a button on your existing reservation to say you've arrived. That should make sure the driver gets there by the time you've walked or bussed to the pickup spot. But when I did this last time it didn't seem to work. They say you should get a call to confirm (really? Why?) within a couple minutes but it never came. So I had to call them. 2) For a company that is, more or less, a logistics business they sure don't seem to be good at logistics. On my return trip yesterday, after the aforementioned app and phone call failure, they had the temerity to tell me that my car was going to take over 30 minutes to arrive - more than 20 minutes after the reservation time! Epic fail. Furthermore, wine they were telling me this, there were 4 cars sitting in the pickup zone just twiddling their thumbs. A company any good at logistics would have reassigned them to us and gotten another vehicle there for the next person. Then they told me that a different cat would be there within 5-10 minutes. So fine. After 11 minutes with no further word I called them again and they had the sheer and utter gall to tell me that they "tried to call me" but it went to voicemail. While I was holding my phone in my hand the entire time. With plenty of signal strength. 3) I made this reservation more than 2 weeks before the trip, but somehow they couldn't have a car waiting for us. Isn't that the point of a reservation? They also had my flight number (see above) so they should have known it was early. 4) They seem to make you jump through hoops like multiple phone calls and text messages to actually get your ride. Seriously, if I make a reservation then that's when I want the car. That's the point. You don't need to phone me twice while I'm trying to shower before an early morning flight. Just have the car there on time! That's literally your only job. In the end I cancelled the trip and I'd better see a refund on my card immediately or I'll have to take it to the credit card company. Oh yeah - that's something else they don't tell you. They charge you when you make the reservation, not after your trip. But they don't tell you that. Shady. read more

I have used Opoli several times over the years to and from the Burbank airport. The drivers arrived on time, were easy to communicate with, and delivered quick, efficient rides. The cars were clean and comfortable. When I needed to reschedule my airport pickup due to a massively delayed flight, customer service was terrific in rearranging my ride. I've used these guys a few times for rides to LAX. I reserve a few days in advance, and they are always on time with professional drivers in nice cars. More affordable and dependable than Uber or Lyft. But this was only the second time I paid for a round trip and had them pick me up at the airport. Several years ago, getting picked up at LAX by them wasn't a timely experience, but this time, the communication was much better. The driver was very punctual. I was held up in Immigration and was late for pickup. They claimed they'd waited 2 hours for me. I cannot control the speed of passage through US immigration. There were at least 1500 people in the hall to be processed. So I was left stranded, a single woman in a strange city. It was very scary. Of course I could rebook my ride. WHAT? And give them more custom. AVOID, avoid, avoid. I took a private cab instead. I note I've been replied to, but unless I'm being offered a refund for the missed leg of my trip, reaffirming all I've reported is of no use to me. read more

Really helpful team if you are new to making reservations. You can actually talk to someone. I use them for LAX which is not the easiest airport. When my original driver was stuck in traffic, and couldn't pick me up, they found a ready alternative and I wasn't too delayed. Also the reservation system was fast and efficient when I changed the pick up point for my return. Slightly better pricing that Uber or Lyft in my experience. I have only used this service two times. The first time was for a scheduled ride to the airport, and the second was for an "ASAP" ride to go home. I had to rush home to work and ordered the "ASAP" option. I received a message on the app that it would take 31 minutes. I immediately tried to cancel on the app but couldn't tell if it was canceled. The driver called me, and I told him I couldn't wait that long and had moved on to a different service. When I checked the app, it showed that the reservation was still active. I contacted chat support, and the person was unwilling to help me, did not express empathy, and was rude. I shared that I have never experienced that low customer service in the many years of using a ride-share service. I don't recommend this service due to its non-user-friendly app and horrible customer service. read more

I'd give them zero stars if I could. Cancelled ride last min before my flight even landed at 11PM. Got the cancellation message when I landed. I had referral credit I used that they won't refund me for. Never referring them to a friend again. My friend also had a really bad experience with them and their driver. Shit company they have a long ways before they can compete with the other transportation companies if they even last long enough to try. They will keep failing miserably since they don't know how to treat paying customers, worst customer service I'd rather deal with the DMV office. Pricing isn't that much better than Uber or Lyft. He loaded my luggage and we were on the way (it was a very nice Lincoln Executive). Once at the airport, Dave unloaded my luggage and took it directly to one of the skycaps which was very helpful. Biggist rip off shuttle service I have ever used. No way to contact them after prepaying for service. My plane was delayed after landing at Logan airport due to ports not available. I was a little late getting to the pick up location. NO WAY TO CONTACT THE DRIVER OR THE COMPANY! I was #1 on hold for 1/2 hour. Shuttle service was slow at the airport too. When I arrived at the pick up point the driver was already gone. Claimed I was a no show so there was not refund. After I finally used chat to contact customer service I was told that the driver waited until 15 minutes at the pick up point. They used the touch down time as plane arrival time. They lied about the wait time as I was there before the time that the driver listed as leave time. Other drivers vouched for me (I checked with each). Poor customer service as I NEVER talked to a person. Lost my ride, my money and used Uber to get home. There should be a rating lower than one star for this company. read more

I am not sure if they are short drivers, but with 2 attempts, it kept saying they were tring to find a driver and when they did, evidently they kept trying to contact them. Now tonight....my fiance got a text at 9pm (for our 1030 reservation) from our driver was on his way...an hour and 15 minutes later...we get a call from our driver from this morning making sure we were picked up as he saw our name on the list (he was on another ride). We said no and not 2 minutes later did this company call and say oh we are cancelling bc we have no one to drive you. So wait a minute we booked you 2 months ago, you go by appointment ONLY, send us a text your on your way then bail? No that's not ok. I requested an Executive Sedan from Century City CA to LAX for today at 2:00 PM. I was outside at 1:45 PM and gave specific instructions to the Driver on how to enter the Gated Complex to come around to my building. At around 2:17 PM with no Car as at 2:00 PM I called Joe Alem with Shalom Express Limo he said he would have a car in 5 Minutes. 5 Minutes came and went. They had the Audacity to send me a 2010 Uber Toyota Corolla without telling me. As I have low vision and neuropathy I told them in the notes about my Low Vision. They knowingly sent an Uber Car under their app so if I got into an accident I would not be covered. Joe Alem said to look out for a Black Sedan so I was expecting a Mercedes Benz or BMW. Opoli never called me. They should never be allowed to operate at LAX under these terms. If I wanted Uber or Lyft I would have ordered it in the first place. read more

Opoli cancelled my 3:45 am pickup 15 minutes before pickup, as "they had no one in the area" for pickup; the net result of this was a Parking Spot bill of $300 vs @ $65, if Opoli was a credible company. I had been very reluctant to use a ride share service for many reasons. Finally, I decided to try Opoli after searching Prime Time. I appreciated knowing my cost at the time of booking my trip and was pleasantly surprised with the charge. Because my flight arrived at the Burbank Airport early and luggage was on the carousel quickly, I thought there would be a possibility the Opoli driver might not have been prepared for my unexpected earlier arrival. I contacted Opoli customer service to inform them that I was ready, but wanted information as to exactly where I should wait, the name of my driver, and the color and make of the car. (For those who are experienced ride share users this may appear as nonsense, but, for me, I wanted the information to feel more assured.) A few minutes later, the driver arrived. WOW!!!! What a lovely car - a new black Tesla. After being away from home for a couple of months on an extended trip, I was tired and hungry. I just wanted the driver to get me home quickly, safely, and in quiet so that I could relax. The driver, Helena, was so kind, so vivacious, and so smart that I couldn't stop asking her questions about her life story. Initially, I couldn't wait to get home, yet, when the car was in my driveway, I wasn't ready to leave her car. The ride didn't last long enough!!!! I feel very fortunate that Miss Helena was my driver. The ride was safe and very pleasant. I also appreciate that she helped with my luggage. If and when I use a ride share service again, the driver will have "a hard act to follow". I have used Prime Time shuttle in the past with no problem, good prices. Recently have used their car service. At first, no issues. Last time booked and paid extra for a town car which was confirmed. Morning of the pickup I kept checking the app and saw no driver had been found. About a half hour before pickup was called and told they didn't have a town car but could send a Toyota instead. Since I was on the way to a flight I didn't have much choice so I okayed as long as an adjustment on the charge was made. The car was 25 minutes late, though I did make the flight. No adjustment has been made on the charge. I have contacted them three times on the app and once by email. No response or acknowledgment had EVER been received. read more
