If you have not booked your eye appointment here then you are missing out! I take my family every year to this location and get our eye exams done and upgrade to the newest fashions. They treat my family like celebrities and I can't explain how they literally remember all our names after a whole year goes by. Amazing!! The staff here set a standard for the entire industry and I really don't think anyone can beat their cheerful kind services. They also are very careful to explain all your charges and how insurance covers some of the costs. It's nothing to fear when you understand the process. I sincerely appreciate Dr. Nguyen and all her wonderful staff, I will never choose to go to another optician, and how she trains her staff to be such examples for everyone is beyond me. Great job Optic Gallery Henderson keep up the great work everyone!!!

HIGHLY recommend!! Right when you walk in you feel so welcomed. It all started when I called to make an appt and Aly made me feel so comfortable throughout it all. Me being traumatized from a rude eye doctor before, I didn't want to step foot in a eye doctor's office ever again but they changed it all for me. They explained everything from start to finish which was nice. Dr.Valdez is an awesome doctor and she was the only doctor who did something about my eye issue after all these years of seeing diff doctors. Noel helped me pick out glasses and walked me through everything, she made me feel comfortable to ask questions and was cool to talk to. Overall they are all good vibes and you will feel apart of their family. You will not regret making this your home for your eye doctor! Oh and on top of that, you get a free eyeglasses cleaner & cloth upon check in. Woohoo! Thank you Optic Gallery :) you guys are the best!

Just walked in here without a welcome greet. Few people working but no one willing to help. I was looking for kids glasses, I also needed contact lenses and looking for a reading glasses for myself. Costumer service is a must be improved by far at this location. read more

I've been a patient of Optic Gallery and Dr. Valdez for 4 years. Every time I interact with the practice they impress me more than the time before. Scheduling is easy, staff are extraordinarily competent and friendly, and Dr. Valdez is extremely professional, friendly, and caring. Everything everyone does here clearly is designed to get the patient the best vision and the best eyewear to meet their needs. I've worn glasses for 57 years. Finally a place that does it right. This office is awesome. I was a new patient to this place and had to call a few different times resolve my issue. Every single time I spoke to someone different, they were super polite and helpful. I needed help getting safe Halloween contacts and Remelyn ended up coming through for me and helped me every step of the way! I've been to a couple other Optometrists in town and haven't received the quality treatment I was treated with at this location. (On top of that it seems like they have a wide selection of frames.) This is my new official optometry office from now on! (It's worth the drive) Thank you Remelyn and Optic Gallery! read more

I feel this place has stopped really caring about its customers. They're priority and aim are to make you buy the most expensive brand or item they currently have to benefit themselves. They don't give you many options. They don't care about how the customer feels, or if it is within their budget or not. They're products are also super overpriced. Shop around! read more

I LOVE Optic Gallery! I have been a patient for about 10 years now. Dr. Lee and Dr. Nguyen always go above and beyond for me. I am a desk jockey, and stare at a computer 9 hours a day, and my eyes kill at the end of the day. This year, I had to get a pair of "work" glasses for the day, then the normal pair for anything besides sitting at the desk. I was hesitant, and now soooo glad I did it, my eyes no longer kill me! Now, I also cannot say enough about the front staff - they always greet me when I walk in, super helpful, and friendly. I had the pleasure of working with Mija this year, who helped me with 3 pairs of glasses - computer, daily, and sunglasses, and was patient with me as I tried on about 25 pairs or so to find the 3 I loved. She also assisted me with my dad's glasses a few months back, she and Dr. Nguyen were so amazing in helping with a unique situation. So, a huge shout out, thanks so much Dr. Nguyen & Mija! I was able to be seen right away because I had an appointment. Aly was able to give me the best and most helpful information regarding my insurance over the phone before I made my appointment. I always see Dr. Valdez, and she always takes care of me and makes sure that I know everything about my eyes. You can tell that she really cares about her patients and wants to make sure that your eyes are healthy. Jennifer in the front was super helpful when it came to helping me decide what the best options were for me. Optic Gallery is really an all-around great optometry practice, I'm glad I came here! read more

Super cute shop with a big selection of very stylish frames. Alyssa was super sweet & assisted me with pre-examination. She was very thorough with the exam and explained what each test was testing for. Very bubbly! Dr. Nguyen is very friendly and also very thorough with the examination process. All I can say is wow! This place really knows how to treat their guests. It was my first time at this location and immediately I was impressed by how clean the office and how friendly the staff were. Once I walked in, the staff were quick to smile and help me with new customer information. Kamisha was the primary optician I had the please of working with and she really went out of her way to make me feel at home. Professional, friendly, and she really knew her stuff! Overall, Optic Gallery did a wonderful job. They got me the contacts I needed while at the same time bringing in that personal touch that most optometrist offices seem to be lacking. read more

I've been going here for two years now. The staff is super friendly and they have a large selection of glasses and sunglasses. This past weekend I had Dr. Borges do my eye exam. she is not always at this location but she was great. Showed care and related to my eye concerns and questions. After that, Adam helped me pick out some new frames. He was super cool and was very patient with me as I was very indecisive in what I wanted and kept picking frames and then picking more after deciding. But he totally understood and helped me decide based on what my needs for sunglasses and daily eyeglass frames. He also picked out some good options that fit my style and face. read more

I have been coming to Optic Gallery for years, and I would not go anywhere else. The office is very clean, the staff is always friendly, and they have the best selection of frames. The staff will help you choose the best frames to fit your face. Two days before Christmas I called the office in a panic with a horribly uncomfortable sensation in my eye. Dr. Nguyen was kind enough to fit me into his schedule and removed a small fiber from my eye. The doctors here are knowledgeable and professional. read more

Very nice staff and Dr. Nguyen is very competent. So why am I only rating this place 2 stars? Because they are ridiculously overpriced. They wanted over $600 for a pair of glasses. I then went to Lens Crafters and got comparable glasses for around $300 and Lens Crafters had a better warranty. read more

Dr. Steve Nguyen graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1992. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California Irvine in 1988, with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Dr Angela was amazing as she calmly walked me thru my eye issues, with options and recommendations. Teresa is who I met with after the prescription was written up. She also provided options and walked me thru what my insurance covers and irs much more than I was ever told or even knew. I am happy with their patience and thoroughness. I will be returning with my daughter.

Everyone treated me very kindly. The exam process was a bit of a pain. They have this test that they blow air into your eyes that I did not like. Because I kept blinking during this process, they red flagged me as possibly having glaucoma and immediately wanted me to see a specialist. Dr. Valdez wanted me to see a specialist immediately, but NV Eye Surgery said it could wait a day. Her response to that was, "Well, it's their problem now!", and laughed. That along with being consulted on new glasses by someone who clearly wasn't properly trained yet, and trying to sell me extremely expensive glasses and then later telling me they had more affordable options "in the back" makes me hesitant to come back here. I'm actually considering going elsewhere to get my glasses after this experience, especially after NV Eye Surgery completely cleared me of having glaucoma. What a bad first experience. Two stars only because I was at least happy with how clean and professional the place looked overall.

When I told her I was gonna hold onto the prescription and shop around she told me I'm going to end up paying the same everywhere. I went down the street to Visionworks and got new lenses for my own sunglasses frames, plus 2 brand new frames, and 2 sets of brand new lenses for those 2 frames for $510! Both of the glasses I got at Visionworks were name brands, but not high-end name brands.

They are appointment only and it's SUPER easy to use their online tool to make an appt. ANYWHOO.... Dr. Julie is the bomb dot com. This office is probably one of the best full-service Optometrist offices I've been to in a long time. She's so gentle and kind that my kids look forward to seeing her. We suspected that our 3yo might need glasses and Dr. Julie took a minute to assess her and validated our concerns. She didn't have to as my daughter wasn't scheduled. She just tagged along because she LOVES seeing Dr. Julie. One thing that's kept us coming back is that they never pressure us or mandate a plan. I'm due for new glasses and yes, I could get new frames. BUT, I have a giant head and it's hard to find a good fit. I got these frames a couple of years ago from this office. The poor guy went through the wringer trying to find the best fit. Before this pair, I wore my glasses for maybe a total of 2 weeks out of the year. Since this pair, I'm a good 50/50 because they're so comfortable. Angela could vibe that my eyes were wandering. She totally understood that I wanted to check out my options. She said she didn't want me to have any regrets (I do spend a lot of time thinking about what if). She too went through ALL the cabinets and drawers. She gave honest feedback on fit. There was zero pressure which made the process honest. In the past, I've definitely gone home with glasses that I hated and it was the worst. I ultimately went forward with just replacing my lenses. I love that both she and Dr. Julie mapped out the next steps with many options. I'm navigating this NEW stage of my life (bifocals, readers, different glasses for different things) and it's a little daunting. If one didn't work out, we had a backup plan. They were SO GENTLE with this transition (no one wants to be reminded they're getting older).

They are very nice people, but I think it's because they have sales goals not service goals. I booked an exam by phone to get a new prescription for my glasses, and was told it was a $20 copay with my insurance. From there, the very nice person upsold me letting me know it would only be an additional $20 copay if I also did the exam for contact lenses. In the more than 50 years I've been wearing glasses, I've tried contacts a handful of times. But because my vision is what it is, I've never really liked them. I don't get the benefit of seeing things near & far, and have to sacrifice one or the other. Plus, at night it's blurry. But the very nice person assured me they've made great advances in the 10 years since I last tried them, so I agreed to add the additional $20 exam. When I arrived, I met an even nicer person who had me sign some things, one of which clearly stated that I was acknowledging payments of $20 copays for both exams. I did the exams. Not a big deal between the two time wise. And, if I'm being completely honest, the only "advancement" I could clearly see after 55 years of Optometrist visits, is that splitting the prescriptions between glasses & contacts means bigger billings to insurance companies. The Doctor was also very nice. She gave me both prescriptions, a week's worth of contact lenses to try out, and then passed me off to the next really nice person whose job it was to upsell me on frames, getting new contact lenses every 90-days, and then check me out. I collect vintage Cazal frames, which are a bit pricey. I brought in two pairs along with another pair of vintage Arnette frames to get new lenses with my new prescription. For all three, she told the cost for new lenses was going to be around $1,400. As for the contact lenses, they'd be $350 every 90-days. I only needed new lenses in for my newest frames, so I said let me try these first and then I'll do the others. She then told me that there was a big difference between my old prescription and this new one, and that most of her patients opt to do all of their lenses. I don't wear all of my glasses at the same time, so logically it made sense to try out the new prescription then come back to get new lenses for everything if it worked. Then she said she had some bad news, which was that my insurance doesn't cover both the glasses and contact lens appointment, so I would have to pay an additional $130 for the contact lens prescription. I jokingly said, "Sucks for you." I was quoted $20 for both exams, upsold on contact lenses despite not needing or wanting them, and even signed something acknowledging both $20 copays upon checking in. She said, "I know. I'm sorry about that. The person who checked you in didn't read the small print." To which I replied, "Huh?" Then she had to make a phone call to their management office to see what she could do. Upon her return, she told me that I'd have to give back the week's worth of contacts as well as the contact lens prescription if I did not pay the $130. However, they could still do the lenses for my glasses. They took my week's worth of contacts away along with my new contact lens prescription. In turn, I opted to only purchase my new lens prescription and did not leave any of my glasses with them. Over a $130 oversight on their part, they lost a substantial sale, a loyal client and recurring revenue. Ironically, that's very short-sighted. read more

Needed a new optometrist closer to home so now this is my new go to optometry spot! Had an appointment and went on a Saturday afternoon. After filling out the patient info online form, there was barely any wait time. Every year my vision gets slightly worse than the last and I am very lucky that Dr. Anne Valdez was able to evaluate my eyes this time. She did a very thorough assessment and made sure I had the best prescriptions for my vision. I've also had issues with using contact lenses and dry eyes/irritation and Dr. Valdez gave me suggestions of eye drops and a different brand of contacts to try which have been working out better so far! After checking out with Dr. Valdez, Remelyn helped me out with choosing new frames and contact lenses. I let her know what type of frames I was looking for and she gave me the best options which made it easy for me to decide which new frames i wanted. It took me a while to decide on how many boxes of contact lenses i wanted due to pricing with insurance and whatnot but Remelyn showed me all my options and was awesome and very patient with me. Everyone at this office were nice, friendly and professional! Also, you have a numerous amount of options for eyeglass frames. If you're looking for a certain design/style, I wouldn't doubt that they have it. read more

Visited Dr. Nguyen as a second opinion for a medical visit. I was amazed to get a same day appointment. When I got there, I filled out the necessary paperwork and was seen by Dr. Nguyen within 10 minutes. 1) I had been to an office where I was already an established patient that morning and it was nearly 1 hour from my scheduled appointment time that the doctor strolled in. 2) I knew either had a foreign body in my eye or that a foreign body had scratched my eye and that is what I told him. 3) I was told by that doctor that my eyes were just extremely dry and to increase my artificial tears to ~6x/day. I went to work for half the day, putting the eye drops in my eye much more often than usual and was getting no relief. That's when I made the appointment for the 2nd opinion. During the appointment, Dr. Nguyen really listened to me. He examined my eye a second time and turned my eyelid inside out and took out a piece of sand. Immediate relief!! He prescribed some antibiotic drops due to the infection that was beginning because of the sand. I have to say....my family has a new Ophthalmologist! Thanks for my broken eyeglasses, I came to visit the Optic Gallery in Seven Hills for a blessing! It was a great experience for me as a first-timer and I couldn't be grateful enough to meet two amazing people ( Dr. Valdez and Adam) who made all this first impression a family vibe. I love how the staff welcome and assists me for a thorough eye examination and how Dr. Valdez explained everything smoothly with satisfaction. Her warmest aura as she smiles made me more feel at home and comfortable. I'm meticulous about my eye condition since it has been my concern, especially during long work hours staring at my computer. And I'm so happy to know that my eyes are still perfectly healthy. About the eyeglasses, I got the best pair and quality! Shoutout to Adam who had been so patient helping me, his suggestions and comments are just so on point for me to decide for a good deal. I could not wait to have my first pair soonest! I highly recommend Optic Gallery Seven Hills location!! Every part of my visit was exceptional! Linda at front reception check in was very friendly and helpful with the check in process. Can't say enough good things about this place! Worked primarily with Emily and she was great. Very attentive and fun to work with. Really helped me with my contact fitting, and was symapthetic when I had issues finding the right lens for me.
