These guys are amazing! Moved my entire apartment during a pandemic. On time, reliable, efficient...and did i mention they were fast? They come prepared with everything you could think of to protect your furniture during a move. The last company I used wrapped my mattress in some blankets (gross). I am overall not happy with this service and the employees that were sent for the move. It was not all bad, but bad enough that I would never use them again and would recommend against them. Furniture pads were not used on any of my furniture in the truck even though I was reassured that they would be added. We had to take off before the movers and at the time had no reason to mistrust them. That was the first mistake. My furniture is so badly dented, nicked, scraped, scratched, and overall ruined. I also never heard such nonstop complaining while simultaneously trying to convince solicit positive feedback (maybe for the tip). Why complain that boxes and items have to go somewhere other than the ground floor. Its baffling. Consequently, boxes were placed in the incorrect spaces despite my paying them to do so. Walls and corners were so badly scraped and rubbed against (also led to furniture damage). One guy ran into the wall so badly he left a 2.5 in divot in the wall and irreparably damaged my desk. Dirty sweat and finger marks are all over the walls. They put their sweating heads up against furniture for balance which is frankly disgusting along withbusing the restrooms, not washing hands, and going back to touch my boxes and furniture. Unsanitary! And of course I think they attempted a little payback by taking longer than need to move items to the upper levels. read more

Honestly, these guys are gonna be my go-to from here on out anytime someone needs a recommendation. I've read about so many horror stories with movers, so I was very selective about who I chose. They called me to let me know when they would be arriving since I was given a time window, and then arrived right on time! Amazing!! No other word to describe them! They went out of their way! We moved from a two story house to a one story house in under 6 hours! All of the men were super sweet to our three year old, letting her tell them where things would go.. it was really cute and such a help because it kept her entertained. All the men had kids of their own and were super patient with our youngest (10 months) who was not a happy camper! They loaded his crib on the truck last and made sure his room was the very first one set up at the new house for his nap! Like really?!? So freaking sweet! I was mind blown that they were so on top of everything!! I had one antique piece of furniture that means the world to me, it belonged to my late grandmother, and when I expressed this to them and explained that because the glass was curved it could not be replaced. Trying to find a mover in Houston is hard- because there are a lot of companies to choose from. I recommended Optimus Moving Services to my mom based on Yelp reviews and said a prayer hoping they don't embarrass me and get me chastised for choosing a bad company. Ha ha! Optimus Moving Services replied within 15 mins of sending the request for a bid via yelp. They answered all of my moms questions over the phone. The movers arrived on time. I was pretty nervous about how things were going, my mom assured me things were going really well and asked me to buy the guys lunch. (You know when your mom wants to feed someone - she must like them) They arrived quickly to the new house and were very polite and professional. Tony, Justin and George (Jorge) - worked extremely well together, there was excellent communication between us all, they worked quickly and nonstop. The wrapping of furniture was perfectly done. They took extra care to set things down gently and avoided all the walls and door frames. Overall the job took about 8 hrs to completely load and fill their 26 ft truck & unload my moms car as well. The final total was absolutely reasonable and completely worth it. I trusted this company to move my elderly parents into their new home and they went above and beyond my expectations. Literally. I didn't expect them to comply with my mom's request to turn boxes so that "signs of what's inside" faced out- but they DID! There were no hidden fees and no surprises when the total invoice was completed. By far the worst experience with a moving company I have ever had. They originally gave me a time frame to show up 12-3, then the day of the move they call to tell me it will actually be about 6-7pm before they can get here.
