Pepperoni

Pretty solid little pizzeria! Small space for those looking to have their pizza there and maybe do some people watching from the window. The staff are very friendly and busy taking orders and making your pizza fresh!! The pizzas are delicious, highly recommend the newbie if you like shallots. They may be on the smaller size pies but they can fill two people up easily! Can't wait to come back and try another one of their speciality pizzas

Very unique pizza topping options. Crust is a little more 'crusted bread' aka thicker than what I'd associate with thin crust pizza. Pizzas are probably smaller than you'd think so these are a good option for either having as a personal pizza or ordering several to try amongst friends.

This is a yummy pizza shop in midtown on 31st. The pizzas combine creative combos of flavors and ingredients that are unexpected but very delicious. The pizzas are kinda spendy for the size, but worth the splurge. $17 for about the size of a personal pizza or maybe 2 people who aren't very hungry could eat off 1. Pizzas ordered: the herbie birdie, pepperoni, & fungi with white sauce. All were very delicious. Crust was thin and crunchy. Sides ordered: the cheesey bread and carrots. The carrots may seem like an odd side but they are very delicious. Also got a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious. If this spot was closer to my house, I'd go everyday. Long story short- try it. Lots of options for vegans, meat eaters and gf crust. Tip: order online. Cashier was friendly. The spot is small but bright and cheery. I think there was seating and a bar in the next room but I didn't go see. Good for takeout and families and date night.

Classic pepperoni

Popped into for a quick pizza date since we were in the area. Thin crust and flavorful sauce. We got the cheesy bread and the classic pepperoni. The cheesy bread was a little crispier than I liked but I enjoyed the pizza. They have some interactions appetizers I need to go back and try. Staff was super kind to us. And it's small and intimate. Sat at the long table by the window and watched the people go by.

This spot has been on my radar for a while. I saw a video that the construction on 31st street (right outside their front door!) was impacted them so decided to finally stop in on a Friday night. The inside is small and cozy. Staff took a couple of minutes to come up to the counter to take our order. However the service was nice and I even got a free sticker. We ordered two pizzas to split between two people: Mobb Boss and Herbie Birdie. We were warned that there was about a 30 minute wait since it was their rush hour. Although the inside wasn't busy, it seemed like they had a lot of to go orders. We snagged a table and thankfully they had some games available that we played to pass the time. Honestly, our pizza did come out after about 35 minutes, but it was definitely worth the wait. The crust was amazing. The toppings were amazing. It was very unique topping and combinations. We also got a complementary carrot dish for our wait, which was definitely a nice touch. Both pizzas were amazing, but Herbie birdie was my favorites. The butternut squash sauce definitely gave it a very amazing taste. Designated parking lot and street parking.

We went looking for a good pizza after an afternoon exploring KC. We are glad we decided on Orange by Devoured! It was just what we wanted, and didn't know we needed! Super clean, quaint pizza joint on 31st. I ordered cheese bread and a regular pepperoni and my Husband ordered Martyz $pecial. Not only was service friendly and prompt, the pizza was so good!!!

The Classic Pep - minus two slices

I was really excited when Orange by Devoured opened because I never had a chance to try the pop-up. I heard really good things, and now that I've been to Orange I see what the hype was about. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into this concept from the space to the food. My wife and I shared The Classic Pep. From the crust to the cheese to the sauce, it was an outstanding slice of pizza. The dusting of pecorino on top is a really nice touch. I can't wait to try some of the specialty pizzas with the fun ingredients. We also had the risotto balls which were really good. I enjoyed the craft beer options. Just having a couple cans of local microbrew on hand makes a huge difference in my mind, especially because pizza and beer is one of the greatest pairings in all of humanity. The service was great. We got the food pretty quick, all while they seemed to be cranking out consistent takeout orders. I can't wait to come back!

Wow! Great tasting pizzas, cool interior and vibe, excellent customer service. I highly recommend giving this place a try. The employee who helped us was amazing. He took our order, made our food, and served it to us. A one man show! We ordered 2 pizzas, the risotto bites, and sodas. The pizzas were delicious and their carrot salad is wonderful. The employee spent some time chatting with us about the city and giving us some recommendations. Super friendly and very helpful.

Your new favorite pizza place in Martini Corner just opened!! From the creative mind of Jhy Coulter who you can recognize from Hulu and also the well-known Devoured Pizza pop-ups across KC, Orange By Devoured serves small plates and a long list of delicious pizza options. First, the space is adorable but TINY. The restaurant has seating for probably less than 20 people, so expect to stand and wait for a seat. They are connected to Ludo's (shuffleboard bar) next door, and you can order pizza and eat it in Ludo's if you reserve a lane and a table, so that's a good option to guarantee space. Order at the counter and try to find space where you can! They only have a few pizza ovens, so also expect to wait a bit for your food. The snacks came out faster - highly recommend starting with the risotto balls (order 6, not just 3)! The pizza is absolutely worth the wait - the topping combinations are unique, flavorful, and fun, and the crust is perfection. Cheesy Bae is a great vegetarian option with white sauce, zucchini, and roasted garlic. The Martyz Special is surprisingly sweet and spicy. The Newbie rounded out our table as a savory delight with a hint of sweetness from a hot honey drizzle. Theres typically plenty of parking around the block and in the Union Hill area! Can't wait to come back and try more options! So glad Devoured Pizza finally has a brick & mortar location!

Martyz $pecial Newbie

Delicious pizza! Small space, but it's well decorated and a vibe! Our favorite was the Martyz $pecial!

NOW OPEN on Martini Corner in Kansas City. You can tell from the return customers and interactions that this is a local favorite. I ordered the Martyz $pecial. The pizza was next level with the jalapeño bacon jam and basil. Fresh and full of flavor. Such a cute space with all the details. Fast and friendly service. Will return!

orange by devoured in martini corner is a good pizza option. very limited seating but can sit next door at ludo's (they're connected inside). all pizzas are made to order and are fresh. it takes a minute for the pizzas to come out so be patient. worth the wait. while waiting, would recommend the risotto bites and carrot salad. both are tasty. pizza wise? jam bam and marty's special have been my go-to options for years. would recommend stopping by orange before some shuffleboard next door!

Cute little spot in Martini Corner. We were at the Hallmark Experience at Crown Center on a Saturday night and rather than wait in line for an hour for mediocre fair food, we decided to try Orange by Devoured on the way home. First impression was its attractively decorated and they did what they could with the space. They didn't seem exceptionally busy (no line but there was a private event in Ludo's, so likely would normally be busier) at 7:30 when we arrived so it was kind of a bummer to see customers having to stack dishes and clear places to sit, since staff who came out to bus didn't get to all the seats. It's a small place so it's important to get that space cleared or create a customer bussing station. But on to what we were here for, the food! They were out of all the tapas, which was a bummer, and forced us to get 2 pizzas. Not to complain because, spoiler: pizza was delicious, but we probably would have been happier splitting 1 pizza and a tapa. Anyway, pizzas are 11 in and a thinner crust, so it's definitely something a hungry adult can finish alone. My boyfriend got the martyz special and I got the herbie Birdie. A nice contrast. I thought they both were excellent and straight out of the oven. The bacon jam made the Martyz special and I liked the flavor combo on the herbie birdie. I wouldn't say I'm in a rush to go back, as it's not convenient for me to go to, and I don't know that the pizza is craveable enough to make that trip exclusively for the pizza BUT if you are in midtown, it's an amazing pizza option.

I ordered a cider and they brought me out 1/2 a glass. The keg was empty and he figured I could at least try it. It was good, so I appreciate what I got. We got some appetizers. The Cesar salad was fresh and crisp. La Capra E Il Maiale was awesome! It was baked goat cheese and pepperoni with flatbread. Absolute flavor explosion! The pizzas... so great! We got a hot honey pepperoni and a Mortaza. Both were baked beautifully, the cheese blends were spectacular, and the toppings were ultra fresh. I left happy and full! Great service, great food!

It's pretty lively--which is to say that it's not a quiet, romantic sort of setting, so don't expect to have a sweet heart-to-heart convo over your pie. (Can this be the same place other reviewers are calling "upscale"? The menu is laminated, the chairs are industrial metal, and the floor is concrete. The server's wearing a hoodie.) The table next to us included two kiddos who played with electronic devices with the volume on, and staff made no move to stop them. We were seated at a table near the front door and didn't see the bar area until after we finished dinner; it's likely more intimate. The beer list is pretty short--the usual big names and a smattering of local craft brews. There are several spritzes and a few house cocktails on the menu, as well as a decent wine selection. We had craft beers and they were served good and cold. The menu also includes cane sugar sodas and Pepsi produts. Like most pizza places lately, there's no option for a small hot meal, especially if you want protein included--just a whole pizza (of which I'd eat less than half) or a salad. So I had a half salad, my mate had a pizza, and I had a slice of that as well. The crust is excellent; sauce and toppings are tasty as well. Il Lazzarone looks like a good place to share pizzas if you're with folks who can agree on toppings! It's a stable, reliable place to pop into if you're in the area.
