Alex, yes I called you a few times and changed my date of move but until you arrived and I asked Kons did they change the name of the company and he said no that's when I knew I didn't get the original company that I thought I was calling. I have the same furniture for the past 4 moves and have never been charged for over weight furniture, not everyone has Ikea furniture. I have 2 pieces of heavy furniture. The previous company also had to wrap/blanket the furniture same as you did. We moved a four bedroom house for several hours less than this one bedroom. As for asking for help in putting the drawer back in the bed yes my boyfriend asked for help and yes Jeremy helped and ended up forcing the drawer in damaging the interior tract fixture in the drawer. I didn't see the all the damages until I started putting things away and checking things out which I should have done before they left, but I was so angry that it had taken 7 hours and didn't want to go off on them. Yes I called the company back and yes when Kons called back I did say I wasn't here because I knew his voice and didn't want to talk to him as I asked to speak to one of the owners, which by the way I still haven't talked to even though I have asked several times to talk to. Jimmy called today after I was told he was one of the owners which he isn't as he told me. Jimmy had very bad customer service skills and told me we will part ways to agree to disagree and that he had many calls coming in and is too busy to talk any longer. Also told me that Alex the owner, supposedly is also too busy to talk to me as a customer. Kons did tell me that I saved money by not using the Groupon but your prices on yelp are the prices that I was charged, so in reality I didn't get a any kind of deal. It was appreciated that Jeremy killed the spider nests. My dog did get bit by some kind of spider 1 year ago but where I lived there were lots of critters around so that's to be expected. Back to the matter at hand this isn't the end as far as what we were charged and how we were treated by your employees. read more

Save your money and find another moving company. I have no complaints about the two guys that moved me in. They happen to damage one of my couches. I asked them what do I need to fill out to make a claim? They said just call the office and they will take care of it for me. I called twice talked to Konstantin and both times I never received a call back to take care of it. I guess he just wants it to go away? What are my options but to take them to court for ruining a $2000 dollar couch? Nobody has time for that.Or tell people about my disappointing experience? This was the worst choice in a moving company we could have chosen.The move was just barely okay the actual movers Chris, Mario seemed somewhat experienced but Manuel seemed off and disappeared frequently and a 4 hour job seemed to turn to 8 hours with almost 90 minutes spent on trying to move a fridge that we ended up having to move ourselves by another company because these guys could not get it down the stairs. By the end of the move during our unpacking process we found multiple items missing, including phone chargers, vape supplies, medication and a pair of designer sunglasses We filed a claim immediately but the owner basically told us that he investigated the situation his guys would not steal and likely a stranger off the street stole the missing items, even though all of these items were accounted for the same morning of the move and no one besides the movers my husband and myself and 2 of my husbands close friends were the only people around our personal belongings, I would not trust this company since the owner uses employees without doing back ground checks or drug testing and he does not require them to wear company shirts or at least clean work attire, these guys were in tank tops and were sweating all over the place and one of the guys( Manuel) could not stay out of our bathroom, he was in it for about 30 minutes at a time and when I cleaned it later, the toilet was destroyed, totally gross and disgusting.Orange Coast Movers NOT recommended and customer service is at the bottom of their list. Used these guys to move some stuff from two different houses into a storage unit. The price was good, movers were relatively fast, but they did not call me when they were on their way to my home. I left work early so I could be home before the scheduled time. When I arrived home, they were already parked outside my home and had been knocking for a while with no phone call. I felt extremely rushed and the movers were not able to communicate with me about what actually needed to be moved, so there was a lot of back and forth. I called the office asking why no one contacted me and was met with a very rude response. Happy that the move is done but communication was poor. read more

Konstatine was very helpful in the scheduling and accurate pricing of the move. Jerry and Victor were on time, called when they were on the way, and did everything they promised. The movers gave me an original time slot of 4 pm to 6 pm for my move. I messaged and called them in the early afternoon that day to get a more specific arrival time. I didn't hear back until I got a short text at 4 pm saying the movers were finishing another job. Then didn't hear from them again until almost 6 pm when I got another text saying it would be a couple more hours before they could be there. I finally got a call an hour after that saying they now couldn't come until the next day. They refused to pick up my calls all day and finally started text communication at the time the movers were supposed to be at my house. I understand things happen, but the lack of communication was very unprofessional. Two stars because they gave me a small discount and the movers themselves were wonderful. read more

Extremely happy with using Orange Coast Movers for my move. I had 2 men, Thomas and Brian, for my move from a townhouse-style apartment in Irvine to a home in San Diego. These guys were super fast, efficient, friendly, careful, and professional. I expressed my concern with moving my giant, vintage-style couches, but they moved the couches out the door and down the narrow staircase without batting an eye. I was truly impressed! After emptying the truck in San Diego, I was missing a bag (small black duffel bag). I texted Thomas who checked on the truck the next day. Sure enough, the bag had been accidentally left in a wardrobe box. Thomas was so helpful in returning the bag to me. He kept the bag locked on the truck until I could meet him a few days later. So happy with this service and would definitely recommend!! Pay in cash for a GREAT rate. I saved ~$200 moving out of OC compared to moving into OC using another company.
