I don't even know where to start with how thankful I am for these guys. From the very beginning Vinicius took such great care of me, actually listening to my needs as I expressed my distrust of movers from the past. They went above and beyond in everything from wrapping to boxing to loading, driving, delivery, you name it. Totally professional. Took extreme care of all my belongings and straight busted their butts non stop, instead of trying to suck more hours out of me to get more money. Nothing of the sort. Total integrity and I would refer them to my closest of friends. I've used this company twice in the past and had a great experience. Unfortunately, this move with them was an absolute nightmare each step of the way. They were around two hours late, with little apology, which led to me having to beg the apartment building to extend my move in hours (which almost wasn't allowed at all - in which case I would have been stuck with a truck full of furniture with nowhere to go). Many items were damaged or broken. The floors and walls were scratched and scuffed due to carelessness, also with little apology and many excuses. The two movers were constantly fighting with each other instead of working, which resulted in an extended move time. I expressed my concern to the movers about the damaged and broken items, but they insisted I was wrong (even though I witnessed most of it happen). I reached out to the owner or manager via email to find out about my options in using insurance to replace these items, but have been ignored. If this company reverts back to how they used to be, it could be great. But as of now, I would be wary to hire them for your moving day. read more

The one star is for the 2 men who did the move because they did work hard. I originally called PCH Movers because they were a local company and felt they would stand behind the work they do. They mentioned quality in the ad. That is important to me. I made a very bad choice. I had a 2 bedroom appartment that needed to be moved completely into a storage unit. The biggest problem was they didn't understand enough English to communicate what I asked from them. When I marked a box FRONT and told them those boxes should be in front of the storage unit they ended up in the back behind big furniture and other boxes. The boxes were all marked with the contents. Those box content markings normally would face the front so that I could find what I was looking for. That didn't happen either,. Only one box had the markings visible. My storage unit needs to be taken apart and put back together so it's not just boxes and furniture shoved into a space, and I can remove the things I need first. A large antique mirror that was broken. The box was made specifically for the mirror and said in very large black letters Mirror: do not lay flat. They did lay it flat. and it is broken..I marked that on the invoice when I paid that there was a broken mirror, but they never called me back to find out about it. Their ad said they would take care of damage ASAP. Didn't happen. What was a bigger problem was when I sent an email to the owner about the problems I experienced, two times, and he ignored that email until I finally wrote the Better Business Bureau to see if I could get it resolved. I got an email from him then blaming me for what I wasn't satisfied about, many excuses and no resolve. The Better Business Burea submitted to him twice. Then the BBB stated "The Bureau has decided to close this complaint and consider it unresolved. The BBB has determined that the company's response does not adequately address all the issues or make a good faith effort to resolve the dispute. Is this the behavior of a company that you would want to take a chance with? No! read more

Movers showed up on time and did an efficient job moving from 2 different apartments into one including taking apart some furniture and improvising to make everything work. Communicated well and worked efficiently. Booking process was extremely easy too and I was able to book the move only a few days in advance. read more

We moved a 5 bedroom house from Laguna Niguel to San Clemente in 11 hours including breaks. Alex the foreman was excellent organizing the job and coordinating his team. We had 5 guys and 2 trucks. Only 2 very small damaged items less than 100$ which we were compensated for. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone with a large home. Vlad, Anton,Mo, & Sergei were all hard workers. I've had the most horrific experience with the Orange Coast Movers recently. I needed the packing service and shipping service; however, when I called the number on this Yelp page, I was told that all of their shipping services was currently unavailable or booked. Thus, we decided that it would be best to order their packing service and they agreed to coordinate with the USPS to get it shipped. I was shipping some boxes to an international country, where a couple of friends recently moved to. Fast forward to two weeks ago, the boxes arrived and I noticed that some of my belongings were no where to be found. I entered the tracking numbers into the USPS tracking and saw every box had been delivered. I immediately contacted the manager, Konstantin, who told me to double check the tracking and that my items could have been removed from customs as they might be prohibited. The items that have been lost were plastic household-goods such as bins and hangers. I knew that these items are not prohibited and wouldn't have any issues passing the customs; however, I double checked with USPS and discovered that all the items they received at their store have been shipped and delivered. I contacted Konstantin again explaining this and received an absurdly rude and unhelpful email back. He utilized unprofessional and childlike language in his reply and was nowhere near apologetic or empathetic, considering some of my belongings have been lost. He had a horrible attitude and continued making invalid excuses, blaming the USPS and customs. What was even more surprising was how conceited he was, proclaiming, "none of the companies wanted to deal with your shipment", to a customer who chose to trust and pay their company for their service, over other companies. His improper and inadequate language doesn't stop there as he states, "I don't appreciate you blaming us" (as shown in the picture). I do not recommend this company to anyone unless they don't mind some of their belongings being snatched and an extremely disrespectful attitude from the manager. read more

I was very impressed by the team of 3 PCH Movers that recently moved me (Vlad, Brad and Val). I moved from a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator and there was no extra charge for the stairs. Their hourly rate was very competitive with other movers that I received quotes from in the area. The team was very courteous and efficient, and they came prepared with moving supplies and tools. They were also very conscientious about wrapping blankets around all of my furniture followed by plenty of tape and/or saran wrap to hold the blankets in place. When we arrived, they reassembled the bed frames - one of the bed frames had been missing several screws for the past couple of years, they took care of this with extra hardware that they bring with them. I do not hope to be moving again very soon, but if I do, I'll definitely hire PCH Movers again. read more

I live in the Bay Area and had to arrange a move for my Aunt who lives in Orange County. She's sweet to family but can be tough on everyone else. Working over the phone and handling the quote and details was very easy and I felt like I was talking to an old friend. With my mind at ease I arranged the date and time for her move and flew down to the OC. I got there and the guys were right on time. Even better, the guys in the photos were the actual guys that showed up! No shady "sub contractors"! They handled her "be careful with that" as well as stories about how she got certain things with a smile, a kind ear, and a lot of "not a problem - of course". I was such a relief to have them there to do the heavy lifting and arranging the truck so that I could focus on her needs. We got the move done, the price was fair (even by her standards!), and the politeness is something that more companies need to have in their business plan! Most moving companies milk the clock but not these guys, nothing but business. These were, by far, the worst movers we've ever used (and we have moved seven times!). The move took ELEVEN hours (we moved ten minutes away) and just under $1500. And at the end, because it was taking so long, we just had them put everything in the garage to get it off he truck so they could stop charging us by the hour. We were extremely organized, with everything boxed up and in various areas throughout the house and I had taken a lot of the furniture apart before they came. In addition, we were moving to a smaller place, so only two bedrooms needed furniture put back together. I had to ask them to put something on the floor so they didn't destroy the carpet (they didn't have plastic, so they just laid moving blankets down, no tape or anything). I had to put my daughter's bed back together myself and had to ask them to screw in the slats, as they tried to leave the slats just lying there. They put our bed back together, but they did such a poor job that parts came crashing down last night (four days after the move). And, when I went to put the crib together, I realized they hadn't included the hardware, which should have been attached to the pieces they disassembled. So now, the baby doesn't have a crib. I called to discuss three days ago. I was told they were "looking into it" and have not heard back from them. We have now had to hire a second moving company to get the boxes to the appropriate rooms. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a moving company. Update: I was told they would look into the situation and did not receive a call back until I posted a negative review. They mentioned the review and offered to refund me $100. Update: The refund never came through. And on top of that, I have found numerous issues with the furniture they moved, including two deep chips in the wood of one of our nice chairs, a huge scratch on a headboard of a bed, and we are missing hardware to put some furniture back together. Do yourself a favor and hire another company! read more
