Great job!! My laptop wouldn't boot. Took it in for the free diagnostic which confirmed my fear that the hard drive had been damaged. They installed a new drive, reloaded Windows and Office, and salvaged and transferred my data to the new drive. Basically, I got a new computer for less than $300. Will definitely go back! read more

I brought my laptop in because the hard drive crashed. They informed me I needed a new one and would attempt to recover the data from the crashed drive. They could not recover the data - fair enough, but after returning home and booting up the computer I noticed they did not update any of the software loaded. Specifically: The OS did not have SP1 loaded. IE was a very early version and was not updated. MS office was 2007...not what was previously loaded so I had to redownload and install. All in, $200 for service that was subpar. Also, took longer than they said it would. Seemed a bit annoyed that I called several times to see when it would be ready, and informed me they would call me when it was repaired. Bottom line, I won't be returning. read more

I took my touch-screen laptop in because of a pretty serious crack in the screen. I could still use it, but a little less than half the screen was dead. I had purchased a new screen off Amazon in the hopes that I could bring it in and have it repaired the same day since; I need it for work and school. The person I talked to couldn't guarantee it that day, but when I told him I had experiencing repairing desktops he was nice enough to provide me step-by-step instructions on how to replace the screen. He even gave me a little baggie of free tools for the repair! I was able to replace the screen and didn't pay anything! read more

Attention Apple Mac users! When an authorized Apple repair business places your iMac on a diagnostics repair module, then tells you that your hard drive and motherboard were broken and could not be repaired (outdated equipment with no replacements) you would probably believe it. Well, don't. I then took my 8 yr. old iMac to "Certified Techs" (same company as "Computer Repair Orange County) and they fixed it! Saved me over $2,000 as I didn't have to buy a new one. I used this before and was happy. I walked in and find 2 people, 1 wearing a mask, and another. The other looked a mess, surely this guy doesn't work here? This place is HORRIBLE! I took my iphone 4 in to have some water damage repaired and I can say it was the worst experience I have had recently. I call the day before I went in and the man I spoke to gave me a quote, $25 for the basic repair and $65 if it needed a new battery. When I went in the next day to have it repaired, the only man who was there was the rudest person I have met in a long while. I walked in and it took him a good couple of minutes before he even acknowledged me standing there. I had to say hello before he spoke to me. I told him I had spoken with someone yesterday to get my phone repaired and he asked me what was wrong. When I told him water damage, he laughed and said "let me guess, you put it in rice, right?" when I told him yes he proceeded to say "well the first stupid thing you did was putting it in rice and not bringing it to me first". Maybe so but my second mistake was bringing it to you...Whatever, I had just driven from Irvine to Los Al and figured I might as well give this asshole a shot. He then told me it was $25 (cash) for them to even look at the phone and then they would decide what was wrong with it and what the applicable charge would be. I thought it was weird the $25 had to be paid upfront in cash, but again..whatever. I paid the $25, have him my contact information and left with a "I'll call you in a couple of hours". 8 hours later I had heard nothing from him and decided to call. I was informed the phone was fine but the battery was shot so they had replaced the battery and it was ready to be picked up. Great, I drove down to Los Al to pick it up, paid the additional $70 ($65 +tax) and was on my way. After a few days of using the phone, the battery once again stopped working. It would go from fully charged to dead in literally an hour. After taking it to another, more honest company, I was told the battery that was put in my phone that I assumed was new was in fact not only used but extremely old and had very little life left, obviously. Of course when I called to ask for a refund, they simply told me they do not offer refunds and offer no warranty on their services or products. Moral of this story is this place SUCKS! I also find it interesting that the bill of sale says "Certified Techs" instead of "iPhone Repair Orange County" or "Orange County iPhone Repair" which is what their website says. Then again, they also claim "free diagnostics". This place is obviously shady and I recommend you find a more reputable company for your repairs. read more

Terrible, terrible place!!! DO NOT GO HERE! They are rude, unprofessional, and ghetto. I brought my phone here a couple months ago because my I-phone 6 screen shattered. They fixed it and then my phone went completely blank so I had to take it back. This ghetto guy (I forgot his name) replaced my screen again and then a week later it popped out and my phone had issues with it so I came back and complained. He gave a lame excuse that the screens were defected. These screens were also very generic since you could see the white Led light in the background. Anyway, he gave me a refund with all the parts for the phone except without my screen!! I was like, "Uhh, will a place fix my phone without a screen." And he said obnoxiously, "Yea, if they are good enough." Well, A-HOLE I did get my screen fixed at I-CELL in Cerritos mall and they did an awesome job! I haven't had any issues since. They charged $150 too to get my screen repaired so they aren't cheap either! This place SUCKS!! Go to I-CELL instead!!! read more

My laptop crashed so I took it here to hear them say my hard drive was dead, the info was unrecoverable and there was nothing they can do, but would be willing to try for several hundred dollars, perhaps $1000+. Made a couple calls and found someone who not only recovered my info, but replaced the hard drive in less then a day for only $200!! Do not rely on these folks for computer repair!!! read more

This review is for their iphone repair.....DONT DO IT!!!! I had a cracked screen on my iphone, but everything else was working perfectly fine!!! Literally no issues with my phone except the cracked screen, and I was using it for about a week while it was cracked and it still worked perfectly. I took it in to get repaired, and after the guy was finished "fixing" it he made a call on my cell to show it was working. The only thing I noticed right away was that they definitely don't use a standard screen glass because it was much thicker than the factory one the iphone comes with. It seemed to be working fine. It wasn't until I got home (I live 30 minutes away, but I was visiting family so the location worked at the time) that I noticed all the things that the guy screwed up. My rear facing camera was no longer working, I could only hear people on the phone if it was on speaker mode, otherwise non speaker mode meant I couldn't hear the people I was talking to. I took the phone back and the guy supposedly fixed it again while I was there. The phone was fixed everything was working, and then randomly 4 days later the rear camera stopped working...again. I didn't drop my phone or do anything different so there was no explanation as to why it went out. Then I noticed that the flashlight wasn't working. A day later, I admit, I dropped my phone from my couch and it landed on the carpet. It wasn't a hard fall by any means. However, this made the screen pop out a little...which meant screen wasn't working well whenever I would try to do something on my phone. So I finally caved and went to Radio Shack. Best move ever!! I dropped it off and picked it up an hour later and the Radio Shack guy told me, "Whoever fixed your phone had no idea what they were doing. They didn't assemble it correctly and they left a wire out so the pieces in the phone were getting loose." (Radio Shack also replaced the screen free of charge with an true Apple one as well.) It turns out my Aunt had a similar experience with her ipad when she brought it there. Seriously it's not worth it!!! Spend more money at a place that actually has certified technicians like Radio Shack or another qualified location. FYI** When I went in the first time to get my phone fixed he wanted to charge me $100 he agreed to $85 since I could find nearby places that were that price. The second time I went in to have him fix his mistakes they charged someone that walked in with the same phone model $65....so just be aware read more

Had the unfortunate luck of dropping my iPhone 5 and having a completely cracked screen. After searching around, I found Computer Repair. The website says they are open on Sunday's but they aren't, so on Monday morning I called into work and told them I would be late (car trouble, wink, wink). I arrived right at ten o'clock and Freddie was already there. He was polite and courteous. I showed him my phone and he told me it would be done in half an hour. I ended up waiting inside and had a great time talking to Freddie plus he had it done in way less time. Phone was as good as new and way cheaper than paying the deductible on my phone.
