I took my Harley in on a Saturday to get an appraisal and they shunned me away saying they were to busy to help or even accommodate me. They tried to be nice and got the bike info and said for me to come back with a reservation. I told them that I had traveled quite a distance to see them and to ask if someone could appraise my bike really quick. They still turned me away without a good reason. They had a lot of staff working that day and wasn't that busy. So the next day comes and they haven't seen my bike and all of the things I've added and bought for the Harley. They straight out said they would give me 3000 dollars for it. I was baffled and replied with, you haven't seen my bike and all of the things I've done to it. The girl told me that the changes I've made were my preference and that they didn't cared. Keep in mind that all of the enhancements were of all Harley parts and materials. Huntington Beach Harley had offered me 4500 for my bike. They at least looked at my bike and gave me the respect. They were very friendly and gave me the time and opportunity unlike Irvine HD. I really felt that Irvine HD really treated me bad and were really rude and nasty. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies. Go to Huntington Beach HD and ask for Joe. He was very nice, understanding and kind. Avoid going to this hell hole in Irvine. Really bad staff and management . They don't care for the customers. read more

We've been going to this Harley location for the past few years & the staff & management has had a complete overhaul. The new management is more strict - probably because the manager is a retired LAPD, Detective Meisner. He is very nice but VERY by the book. The old manager Kurt was cool, laid back & go with the flow. That's what I was used to. Prices for the clothing is outrageous but I love their style so we pay the high dollar for the cute stuff! I have a 1995 883 Sportster. Harley is building very good bikes, I haven't had any problems with my Sportster, it runs good and is reliable and sounds great! I give Harley 5 stars for quality and 3 stars for engineering. Harley has a V rod bike that is a five star bike all the way around. There's no doubt that Harley has high quality bikes. I would give Harley 5 stars if they would build there bikes with a water cooled engine and shaft drive and self adjusting valves. But with that the Harley has a very unique feel and sound that no other brand can duplicate. I am addicted to riding my Harley while my Honda Shadow sits there most of the time. Harley everything is a bit on the pricy side, but its worth every penny as far as im concerned. Great customer service and great service dept. Fun! Fun! Fun! Bike! Bought a used 09 Electra glide Classic here in December of 2015. Damn good thing I bought a warranty! Since then? I've had it in for not 1, not 2, not 3 but FIVE major transmission rebuilds!! The last one in November? I was told they were "through fooling around with it" and we're just going to "Put a brand new, out of the box tranny" in the bike. By the middle of December? The bike is slipping out of 3rd gear. Took it in on December 22nd. Just told that they know EXACTLY what's wrong (again) and that the transmission case is bad. What??!? Thought you just put a brand new out-of-the-box transmission in there just one month ago??!! When I confronted them with this I was told that no! They just rebuilt the transmission in November! they never said anything about replacing it with a brand new transmission! So then my next question was, okay so if you just rebuilt the thing from top to bottom in November how is it that my transmission case went from being perfectly okay in November to being needing to be replaced in December? or did you not really inspect the thing or take a close look at what you were doing with your work? It's been the same kind of story every time I take it in there for this transmission issue. The first time I had to take it in I'd only have the bike for 3 months. They supposedly rebuilt everything then. One month later I was back in with shifting problems and told that my clutch plate has gone bad. Really? How did my clutch go from being perfectly fine the month before but suddenly it's burnt just one month later? I'm more than certain I did not completely burn a clutch up in one month and they should have noticed that it was having issues when they worked on the transmission the month prior. That is assuming theyre actually doing their job. Well my warranty has expired and I'm concerned as to what's going to happen now. Tried to talk to them about some type of trade in and getting a newer bike that told that I must come in with a down payment that I cannot afford as a disabled veteran on a fixed income. guess I'll just have to ride it till the wheels fall off from here on out because apparently they don't want to do anything to help me out or maybe even go out of their way seeing as they sold me a piece of crap and have done crap work to keep it fixed. I could write much more about my bad experience to include the fact that since the 22nd of December? the only communication I've gotten from their service department is when I have contacted them. I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture by now. read more

I originally purchased my bike from Huntington Beach Harley and made a mistake from the get-go. I took my bike back once to get serviced and was charged WAY too much but I did not realize it at that time. I was cut off on the 405 by a 250 Ninja(go figure) and laid my bike down so I returned to HBHD for the repairs. Once I got my bike back I noticed the front wheel was really wobbly but they sent me on my way, went back to get it fixed again. 2 weeks later the bearings out of my back wheel 'were falling out' & once again I had to tow it back to HBHD who said it was a manufacturing issue not related to my crash, my bike is a 2014 & this was in 2015 so that is odd. Needless to say that was my last time going back to them, I tried 1 other place and wasn't satisfied so my buddy sent me here. This Harley Dealership isn't like any of the others I have been to. Most guys are jerks at other places, not here, everyone is super friendly and helpful. Service is fast and super accommodating to your needs, I commute daily so I always need a fast turnaround. Another thing I love is they give it to you straight every time you take your bike in, they don't bullshit you just to make a sale. The service manager is a hell of a guy and seems to run a super smooth shop. All in all this is the Harley that I keep coming back to and am super satisfied with everything that they do for me and the bike. Thanks OC HD! read more

I went there for a Rider to Rider deal. The person we talked to was great to myself and the seller of the motorcycle I financed. However the Sales manager "Spider" he calls himself, was a real dick to the seller of the motorcycle and even yelled at them! All they wanted was a copy of the sale, something they could have for records, how god damn hard is that? Not only that, he was saying he was doing them a favor and this entire thing was a waste of his time. A "waste"? we were the only ones in there doing ANYTHING related to buying a motorcycle. If you're ever there, I hope you never have to deal with this guy, at the time of this post he had long grey hair. He really soured my view of the place. read more

It was my first bike that I purchased and I do not live relatively close in the least bit. Both Sam and Robbie worked with me on the motorcycle I wanted and did all they could to ensure I was satisfied with everything. They definitely made this a memorable experience. Went in today to have a rear tire changed, I already had a brand new tire, the service manager refused to mount the tire because I didn't but it there. What a Tool ! They just lost a long time customer, I bought my bike in 06 and have tried to support my local dealer, called Fullerton Harley, brought the wheel and tire in and they changed it while I waited. My 2008 Electra Glide was damaged by movers. I took it OCHD for an estimate which they did very well. Thinking that they were good I left it there for repairs and authorized them to do the work. Well that was 4 months ago, for damage only to the front fender. I still don't have my bike repaired. Further since I bought the bike it's always been in a garage since it was purchased, now everyday it's with them they leave it outside. I can't take it elsewhere because the estimate they gave me was wrong, although they said they'd eat the difference I still don't have my bike repaired... Even worse now every time I call I am told they can't find the paperwork, they have to call me back. read more

Apparently didn't purchase a service warranty. I know this was talked about for the bike because I explained during the sale I didn't want to pay for service for a little while. So was told wrong or misleading info. Mentioned I was possibly moving school and also didn't mention that those warranties don't transfer to other dealers. Basically have a bike I can't afford now. Where do I begin....service....I took my CVO Ultra in for the 5K service. I picked up my bike and as I was getting on I noticed an antenna snapped off. I walked in and asked them what happened. They said "oh, someone did find a chrome antenna on the floor, someone must have brushed up against it." It was snapped at the bottom of the screw, an elephant brushing against it maybe. If they knew why the hell wouldn't they tell me??? A mistake I can accept, a cover up is bullshit. A Week later I noticed my front end was shaking badly so I took it to City Cycles and they showed me how uneven the ware on the tire was. He immediately went about replacing the tire and he then showed me the front brakes were down to the metal. I had them replace those. I bring this up because both those items should have been checked during the 5K service I had a week earlier. Ownership....GREEDY. If you do not buy the item at this dealership they will not put it on your bike. I bought a pair of directional mirrors for my wife's bike from the Harley Website. Brought them to OC in the closed and sealed box with the receipt and asked that they install them. WAS TOLD NO, I had to buy it from OC Harley or have them delivered there. FIRST time in 30 years of dealing with Harley I have ever heard that from a dealership. Sale & Ownership - I wanted to trade my CVO in for a brand new CVO. I was given a number for my bike after they looked at it and they raved about the condition of my bike. I ended up putting off the purchase for 3 weeks. I went back in and wanted to buy a $40K bike and trade my very same bike in. I quoted the number to Daniel and he said he has to check with ownership. The next day he gives me a number $6K less than 3 weeks earlier and was so nonchalant about it I wanted to puke. They really did not care at all just like their service department. I walked out. I will never ever walk into this dealership again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREEDY BEYOND BELIEF. Do not trust their service department. My brakes were gone and they did not notice. I then went and got the number I wanted for my bike at Riverside Harley Davidson and got the $40K bike from them 3 days later. OC loss is Riversides gain. I went down to OCHD this week and met up with the owners of the dealership, Kevin and Kim. Initially I had met with Dan the sales manager over the weekend and had the worst customer service with him. Kevin and Kim heard my disappointment and they reached out personally to make the situation a better experience for me. They really went above and beyond to prove they are an upstanding company and owners. I could not be more thankful that they took the time to help me with the misunderstanding and lack of customer service I received. They introduced me to Jesse who helped me out with the rest of my paperwork and honestly, I wish I would have worked with him from the start. I recommend to anyone going to OCHD to ask for Jesse.
