This location as far as I know charges you based on the size of the cup you pick and NOT based on a scale. Orange Leaf is my favorite place to get fro-yo, and I love the variety of flavors. I like to get a little of 4-5 flavors in my cup and enjoy each one. It is also nice how there are seasonal flavors to try as well as rotating flavors, so you never really run out of flavors to try! I am conflicted about paying based on cup size though because I am always unsure on what is an acceptable amount to put in the cup. I have seen people overshoot the cup's rim and really pile on the toppings, so I guess that's okay to do? read more

They don't give their staff breaks and refuse to pay overtime. They entrust children to close down shop ON THEIR OWN too. These same young staff members take trash out in poorly lit areas. Loving that you don't need to weigh your amount of yogurt you get. They have a large selection of toppings: mochi, sprinkles (chocolate and rainbow), fruit, juice balls (passion fruit and strawberry), and syrups. I've been here a few times now and I only have good things to say. I've gone to many frozen yogurt stores and they all seemed so cookie cutter and bland. Most of their reward programs were a hassle or required a flimsy punch card that's easy to rip or lose. Not here though! You get a nice card with a very nice rewards program to go with delicious yogurt. Their flavors are amazing and the yogurt is very thick, great for someone like me who does not eat very fast. Before Orange Leaf, I would often end up drinking yogurt juice rather than eating frozen yogurt. The texture, the taste, the style of the restaurant are all very inviting. The staff are incredibly friendly and alert, not to mention the store is almost impossibly spotless! I love it! I know I'm going all over the place here, but just bear with me as I try to make sure I cover all of my experience! My favorite part is the deck outside, which is perfect if you want to get away from the orange/white theme and enjoy the breeze. I've just about tried every flavor and have not been disappointed. Price wise I would say it's reasonable. This is the ONLY yogurt shop where I have found waffle cones (30-50 cents extra, worth it!) ! Something that I found out goes amazing with frozen yogurt just today! Overall, I highly encourage anyone to try it out! I love this location! They have so many options that other locations do not have. For some reason I always just get this friendly vibe whenever walking in. The waffle cups are ALWAYS fresh and very tasty! They even have a SMOOTHIE in one of the FROYO things. All of the topping are phenomenal as well! Deceptive Practices! I love Orange Leaf. But this particular franchise seems to be owned and operated out of line with the company policies. There is no signage anywhere advising customers that this one particular location charges by the cup, not by weight. I usually just grab the largest cup size and put a small amount in that cup so that there is no spillage and the toppings I choose don't fall off the top. I get to the counter and the lady behind the counter (the only employee working) points to a small label on the the counter that says "We charge by the cup size". I will continue to patronize Orange Leaf - just not this location. I will also report this location to corporate and would encourage others to do so as well. read more

Well I'll never go to this Orange Leaf again! Stopped in here for just a little bit of dessert after lunch and was surprised and shocked to be charged $10.00 for what equated to a scoop and a half of yogurt! I grabbed the smallest cup and filled it maybe halfway while my niece took a larger cup and filled hers almost halfway. When we went to pay, I asked where the scale was only to be told they didn't have one. They also don't have a scanner for the rewards card. Later in the evening, my parents went to the Orange Leaf in the Forum and they said the Bandera location is the only one that doesn't use scales. Greedy much Bandera franchise owner? There are plenty of other Orange Leaf shops around town. Find a different one. read more

I actually remembered the other yogurt place was nearby, but had to make another stop first. I ended up trying Orange Leaf and I was so happy with my decision. The Reese's frozen yogurt is better than any other ice cream or fro-yo flavor I've ever gotten!! You must try it, but please don't take it all. This place is awesome. Finally got to try this location with my brother, sister and brother-in-law and we were not disappointed. Huge selection of Yogurt, no Taro if you're familiar with it though, few people in San Antonio are I think. The place is super clean and the staff are all friendly. Best thing? The yogurt doesn't melt! I'm not slupring or drinking this stuff within 10 minutes of purchasing. They also have dividers now, which means no mixing or matching yogurts and toppings, unless you do so deliberately. Will definitely be going back. read more

Granted it was a hot summer day when I came here, the yogurt seemed way more melty this time. Some of the toppings weren't fresh and a bug died in the kiwi toppings. That was kind of gross. After having yogurtland recently again in California several times, I realize that this stuff also seems a lot more sugary and artificial. You also don't get that hint of "live culture" taste.
