We walk into the bar area and four people are seated at the bar enjoying their pizzas. We were debating whether to wait to be seated or sit at the bar when the bartender/waitress asked if we were looking to be seated. Yes, we are. She asked if we had reservations. We did not, but she said that was fine. We were seated in the back which was pretty dimly lit. Ambiance. I usually gauge a pie's taste by a plain pie, but I saw they had cupped pepperoni so we had to order a pepperoni pie because I don't know of any other place near us that has cupped pepperoni. We also got the meatballs for an appetizer. For drinks, plain water. Extra water was brought to us in a bottle that was chilled... no ice. Very nice touch. More water that way. The water tasted really clean too. Special mention needs to go to the bartender/waitress who held down the fort all by herself maintaining the bar area and serving out the food to table customers as they were coming out. One group came after us and then another group of six were seated across from us. I don't know about the first group, but the group of six had reservations. We got the meatballs, which come with three as an appetizer. We each took one and my wife asked me, "So, what do you think?" I thought there were really good meatballs. A lot of times they're really dense and the meat tastes weird. These were soft, moist, and very flavorful. We even were eating the sauce out of the bowl afterwards. Really good sauce, full of tomato chunks, not sweet, and not acidy either. It was just perfectly tasty. The group of six with reservations, who got seated AFTER us, got their pizza first. I told my wife that it pays to have reservations. We were cool with that. We know for next time. We got our pie soon afterwards and had to take pictures. It did look really good. The pepperonis were about the size of nickels, perfectly cupped. The crust had the char that I always look for. This looked really promising. We both grabbed a slice, folded it and took a bite of heaven. The bottom crust is thin and crunchy. The sauce and cheese tasted fresh and not plasticky like some cheeses can be. The pepperonis added a nice flavor kick to everything else going on. I then went for the gold. My teeth sank into crust the crunch reverberating throughout my skull. Wow!!! This crust was light, airy, and crunchy. This pie was firing nitro on all cylinders!!! I was so blown away. Even my wife said, "I never saw you enjoy a pizza so much. It was like you were back in NYC." If that isn't an endorsement for Marisa's, I don't know what is. We took half the pie home because I wanted to same some for tomorrow's lunch. We finished the meal with a shared slice of NY Cheesecake. Not as creamy as NJ Diner cheesecake, but definitely hit the marks for a good NY Cheesecake. This review is My Opinion in full. I had the unfortunate pleasure of visiting this establishment this evening. First off, the secrecy... On their website, they tout their wing deal, they do not tell you about the hidden rules of, you must purchase a mean (which is not an appetizer, a mandatory 18% gratuity which is definitely NOT deserved, and other rules anywhere until you get there. I, a disabled combat veteran, along with my senior friend who is also a disabled veteran who were dumb enough to choose this establishment for his birthday. It was sad that they take reservations with so many empty tables. When the server told us that we had to get a meal with the wings, I politely advised her, it should say that on your website as this is misleading. NO PROBLEM, I attempted to order a salmon salad as I am getting over a sinus cold and wanted something healthy. My elderly friend, has stomach issues and and asked for the wings to be mild. Once they were slammed onto the table (32 minutes later), I, with my sinus problem, smelled that they were definitely spicy and sloshed in sauce. I lifted the plate of 10 wings (Which they will only bring you wings in increments of 10 even with the first set being 10) and smelled it again and advised the young waitress that the wings are believed to be spicy. The elder lady who sat us at the dirty table, who I can only assume was the owners wife, said ill take those, and stormed off with her nose bent up. THEN THE FUN BEGAN... The disrespectful, raging lunatic (acting) of an "owner" storms out from the back, quickly moving and stops at our little table, then leans over the table and gets in my face (without a mask) sternly but quietly yelling "WTF is your GD Problem", I said excuse me, why are you acting that way, "because you are giving my staff a hard time"! "I responded, "At no time did I ever give anybody a hard time." If he was intelligent, he would have come over politely and asked what the issue is and intelligently understood that there is always more than one side to a story... nope, not him! He said "I am the owner and you need to get the F*** out of my business NOW", loud enough to cause a scene. "Yea you fu***ng crack addict, with your sniffles" "That's what crack addicts do, they sniffle like you". I then asked for his name, he got closer to my face and mumbled "Chris Montfort, I am the owner, make sure you spell it right" I said, I am sorry, I did not hear you and I am getting over a cold, can you please get out of my face and please speak up, he said "Get your fu**ing crippled crack head as* and your grandmother (my male friend) and get the F**K OUT NOW!!! I politely and calmly, along with my friend whose birthday was now ruined, stood up and said shame on you, and left. My friend then looked at me on our way out and asked me how I remained so calm, I said, "because people like that do not deserve to run restaurants, but I have to show everyone that I am the bigger man to someone with IM IN CHARGE SYNDROME!" We went up the street, went to a different restaurant and gave the waitress the $100.00 tip we were going to give at OTW. Needless to say, I will never return. Plus from what I saw on the plates around me, I would not be proud to be the owner. Their behavior Disgusting, and the cleanliness, well... you can guess it, IMO sub par! In my very humble opinion, please find another restaurant because this type of behavior with no shame in what they do, does not deserve to stay in business, especially when apparently they steal the wings idea from other successful businesses. I do not commonly write reviews, but for me to do this, it had to be an experience from hell! And that, it was. Thank you Tessa, and more importantly thank you Chris. First time visitors of OTW, and won't be our last. We went for a birthday as they do the birthday wing promo(call ahead for the very few restrictions)and had pizza and pasta as well. Excellent service, excellent food, great bar selection, warm, friendly staff and environment and the owner Chris, was amazing. We always hope for this but it's not always the case. OTW also does drink and food discounts for first responders, police, fire, and teachers, great way to give back to the community, which doesn't surprise me after meeting Chris. Thank you for everything, thank you for making this birthday special. And just know we will be back. Continue to do well! read more

When I tried to ask the servers about allergen information, one server did not know any information. The other server (who I later discovered was Anthony, the owner) was completely rude, pressuring me to move along without giving me the information to know whether I could safely consume the food. When I asked a follow up question about the ingredients, he was very curt and told me to just eat a boiled egg instead of asking more questions. I told him that I just needed to know about the food to know if I could safely eat it as is, or with a lactaid pill, or needed to avoid it completely, and that no written information was available so I did need to ask him a few questions, he told me that the law did not require him to provide information. So PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY if you have any food sensitivities, as it was clear that they don't take allergen concerns seriously. Honestly, I've never been treated so rudely when asking about gluten or dairy content. Other caterers served other meals at this weeklong event, and did a great job of either providing written information, showing great knowledge of gluten sensitivities and cross contamination issues, or providing a knowledgeable staff member to walk through the buffet lines with me to make sure I wouldn't get sick from allergens. This was the one caterer who not only failed to take allergens seriously, but were very rude and aggressive in their responses.
