Two years ago we attempted to get Take-Out but alas to no avail. To summarize the issues here is the body of the email I sent to guestservices@oreganos.com: Dear Sir/Madam, This evening at 5:30PM I called to order take out and before the woman even asked what we wanted she stated: "Just so you know the earliest it can be ready is 7:30PM, will that work for you?". Well 2 hours did not work for us. This was the first and last time we tried Oreganos. The location was: Oregano's Pizza Bistro 6738 W Bell Rd Glendale, AZ This wait time is unacceptable and we felt like they were blowing us off and did not want our business. I felt she should have asked first what we wanted before saying it would take two hours. Cordially, (my name & phone number) Well fast forward to today as I'm cleaning up my email folders I'm reminded their Guest Services never even bothered to reply to me email from 8/15/2015. Really Guest Services? what a joke. Chains are generally a joke and this one is no exception. Let's see if they bother to reply to this review. Top 10 examples of poor service: 1. Lack of manners 2. We ordered the meatball sub and stuffed rigatoni through doordash, and the food was amazing!

Moved away from Arizona, and have not been to Oregano's for years. Took my cousin, 91 year old Mother, 94 year old Aunt, and the food and service were as good as the last time I visited. Great pizza and pasta, and one of those restaurants I miss living in Richmond. read more

Well I must say we have had better then our visit on 7/13/17 it took us over an hour to get our food, and when we got there there was only 3 to 4 tables in the restaurant. it seemed like something was wrong because we had 3 people come to our table to say the food would be shortly, so they did lose a star. The other issue I have is when you order a large salad, and get nothing but lettuce, 2 slice of tomatoes, 2 onion ring slices and not enough dressing and then when you ask for more they charge you like fast food places do, I could understand if you ask for an excessive amount but they only give you 1 serving of about 2 ounces for a very big salad. its a shame that they are so stingy with the dressing when I could go to the other place and get a bottomless salad with as much dressing as I ask for. read more

Food was still spectacular, but the service on our third visit was abysmal compared to our first two visits. I don't remember our host's name, and even if I did, I wouldn't want anyone to be pulled aside and reprimanded like a troublesome child. But a few disconnects in communication ruined the third visit. We didn't order the pan pizza, but were told our pizza would take a 30-35 min wait. We agreed to it, as okay, maybe all pizzas take 30-35 mins, and how we were to know? One server tried to bring us a pan pizza minutes after we ordered, and we were like nope, we're waiting on a thin pizza. 30 mins later, the pan pizza sure did come out. When we tried to say we ordered a thin pizza, there was pushback. The host gave us something to remedy the issue, but the $6 value of that item doesn't cover a thin pizza. Much less a pan one. The entire pizza mix up could have been avoided just by repeating the order. One of us would have caught the error and said 'nope, we want thin pizza'. Too many errors can be made by hosts just taking orders without repeating them, not to say anything of people that just change their minds, and become upset when they can't change their order. And then our host was more attentive towards another table, leaving us neglected. We're not fussy-you don't have to worship us. Just remember we're there. Service in chain restaurants can be hits or misses. This is a clear example. read more

I love all of their food. But my absolute favorite is the stuffed pizza. The amount of cheese is phenomenal. This is still my favorite place and would recommend it to anyone. Also the kick butt garlic bread is a must before anything you order. The only thing I have to criticize is the wait time but the food is worth it! read more

The wait was ridiculously long. We called at 6:15 and we were seated at 8 pm. The waiter, bartender, manager, David was doing everything and i have to say he was awesome. If it wasn't for him I would have been furious. I just don't understand why Four hostesses were just sitting in the front doing NOTHING and he was doing everything. Carly gave amazing service to me and my partner tonight! She was very attentive and was able to accommodate us and give us some awesome options on what to eat. I had saw a lunch deal that had caught my eye that was out of time and my server was able to make an awesome recommendation for me of a side salad and a kids slice of pizza that came out to about the same amount. We also got a app of fried zucchini sticks. My partner had ordered the pan pizza with quite a few toppings they let us know it would take up to 30 minutes for it to come out and was super informative and gave us the option to have the side salad and appetizer come out first. We were quite full with just sharing the side salad and fried zucchini sticks. We were able to enjoy the stuff then have enough time to cool off before the main dish! The deep dish pizza ended up having a different protein but they were very honest and even discounted the pizza Carly and her manager were awesome and she definitely definitely deserves a raise and a paid vacation! We hadn't been to Oregano's in a very long time. Joined Waitlist as it was pretty busy for dinner on a Saturday night. While waiting, we ordered a drink, Margarita. It was good, noticed a slight change from before (liked old recipe). Wings are very good! Big and meaty. Enjoyed the wings. Pepperoni Pizza thin, was lacking taste and seemed extra, extra thin. Almost cracker like thin. Was a little disappointed. Maybe next time we'll order other dishes. read more

Oreganos offers very generous portions at actually a more than reasonable prices. The food is average to slightly above average though in fairness not exceptional - but I'm Italian and my standards are pretty high. The apps were plentiful but may have come from frozen (the calamari and zucchini anyway) so they were good but we'd likely skip next time. The stuffed mushrooms were a surprise! 2 huge portobellos. And pretty good too. The meatball sandwich was very good and super filling. The side of chips were also very enjoyable. And the salads are huge! Service was great. Ordered from Door Dash. I got the Lady is a Scampi. I requested no chipotle in the sauce. It was an option. What I got was no sauce at all. Dry as a bone. Had to use jarred sauce just to make it edible. If I were reviewing based solely on my meal, it would be one star. However my husband enjoyed his dish. He got Mom's Sausage and Peppers. I ordered extra sausage with it and that is worth the extra charge. You get two large sausages. I have a go-to on the menu. The Stuffed Riga Tony. I won't deviate again. read more

Service was terrible, I am a regular here and I ordered a pizza cookie as today is my birthday and they give a free one on your birthdays. I excitedly come with my ID(proof of birthday) and have been signed up for their app for quite sometime which is also required for the free cookie. I come in and am greeted by a rude employee but who cares because I'm eating a tasty desert on my birthday. The person then says how I can't get one due to the app not working, I ask if there can be an exception as I have my ID and I come all the time. They say no so I drive back home (25 minutes one way) so I drive an hour and the employee tells me to get fucked. I think it's bullshit a place advertised free stuff if you abide by the rules and then still says to piss off. Oreganos can fuck themselves as I'm not coming back. I'll find another mediocre Italian place to waste my money at. read more

We went back for #NationalPastaDay or whatever it was. I failed to mention in my last review that although the bartender was great the bar has a serious problem, which I was reminded of last night. They have ZERO Bourbon. How do you run a bar with no Bourbon? Jack Daniels, Crown and Jameson are nowhere near the same thing...but that's what you are stocking? I have no problems with the service or the food here but you have to supply your bartenders with absolute essentials. Bourbon is one of them. read more

Get the golden medium wings!!! I love Oregano's but it's always so damn busy! They do the best they can to deal with the business but it's worth the wait. We've had most everything in the menu and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the pizza and wings, my wife loves the Alfredo the dark pasta. We both agree that the Anita Margarita is killer. If you're feeling glutinous and really wanna make yourself feel miserable finish of the with the pizza cookie (used to be known as the pizzokie until BJs brewhouse stole the name), just known it takes a bit of time to make. Overall, the food is great, the service is always attentive and friendly, and there are options for everyone. read more
