Their menu is not your typical Mediterranean food, so if you're looking for shwarma plates, this is not your spot. I got the "zesty feta wrap" with chicken, which was yummy and saucy. We also got a side of fries, which were seasoned well and crispy. Vegan and vegetarian friendly!

He stopped in to get some work done, something he's done many times during slow hours. Sometimes he buys something, sometimes he doesn't, and it has never been an issue. This has always been a welcoming place. This time, a staff member told him he couldn't sit and work unless he purchased something. What made it worse was the explanation: a table of eight older gentlemen "didn't like" that he was sitting there working, and that was the reason he needed to leave or buy something. It wasn't busy, it wasn't about space, and it wasn't about a policy. It was simply another group of customers not liking his presence, and the staff acting on that. After years of loyalty, that was incredibly disappointing. If there's a new policy, that's fine, just communicate it clearly and apply it consistently. Asking a long‑time customer to leave because another table "didn't like" them is not acceptable. This experience genuinely made us rethink continuing to support this location.

Her ID had a small dent in it -- still clearly valid -- and instead of handling the situation appropriately, the security guard snapped her ID leaving it almost completely in half. Destroyed it. Then turned her away. That is not only disrespectful, it's completely out of line. Security's job is to verify IDs, not damage personal property. There are proper procedures for questionable IDs, and this was NOT one of them. No apology, no attempt to resolve the situation -- just unnecessary force and a complete lack of basic respect. If this is how they treat people at the door, I can't imagine how the rest of the establishment operates. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else where staff know how to handle situations professionally. I'm just curious - is the security guard now going to pay for her new ID?? This is OUTLANDISH behavior coming from a plain old Jane of a security guard. Clearly he didn't make the cut at the police academy...

This was my 4th visit, and I've recommended Zeta's Grill to others because they had always done such a great job accommodating my severe dairy allergy. Unfortunately, tonight was completely different. Food & Service Almost immediately I noticed things weren't the same. I even politely asked our waiter if the owners had changed because the food and service felt so different from my previous visits. I ordered my usual dinner platter, but: * The lamb came out plain with no onions or bell peppers, even though the menu photo shows both. * The baba ghanoush was missing the pomegranate seeds. * The hummus was much less seasoned than before. * My salad arrived covered in feta cheese despite my dairy allergy. * My grape leaves appetizer never came until I reminded them. * I never received the pita bread that normally comes with the meal and had to ask. * Halfway through dinner they remembered I had ordered saffron rice for the table. It felt like our table kept being forgotten all evening. Food Allergy I have a life-threatening dairy allergy, and I mentioned it multiple times while ordering because previous visits had always been handled so carefully. As we were leaving, my throat began swelling and my ears plugged up. I immediately asked if anything I had eaten contained dairy, including the pita bread. Our waiter went to ask the kitchen. The cook appeared visibly irritated about being questioned, retrieved the pita packaging, and read the ingredients aloud. The second ingredient was whey. By then I had already eaten about half the pita. I had to sit down by the register and use my EpiPen before I could leave. Our Waiter I want to give credit where it's due. Our waiter seemed genuinely concerned and apologized once he realized what had happened. He told me I wouldn't have to pay for my meal. I chose to pay anyway because I didn't feel this was his fault. My frustration is with the kitchen and management, not with him. Other Issues My friends were told their meals included one side, including Greek fries, but were later charged a $4 upcharge. Another friend paid $8 for only two pieces of baklava. When she politely questioned it, the employee became dismissive and insisted only the assorted version came with a full container. After we left, we checked the restaurant's own menu, which lists the assorted baklava for $7.95 for the full container, making the explanation even more confusing. Final Thoughts I brought three friends because I wanted to share one of my favorite restaurants with them. Instead, they watched me have an allergic reaction serious enough to require my EpiPen in the parking lot. I've always spoken highly of Zeta's Grill, which makes this even harder to write. I sincerely hope management reviews their allergy procedures. A food allergy isn't a preference--it can become a life-threatening emergency in minutes.

This is actually my first review as Im not much to do online reviews. The only reason that Im even writing one is because of what happened this evening at your location... Ill get to that in a bit. First let me review my dining experience. This was my first time to Oreganos and there was a decent wait to get in. My daughter has been to your locations a few times and raved about the food so we decided to finally come have a family dinner. The ambiance of the location is really cool! Its no where near the norm, and right up our alley. Our server Stephanie was fantastic and was so helpful and friendly as I navigated the menu. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! All in all we had an absolutely amazing time. From the friendly staff at the door to the food at the table, A+. Now let me get to the reason I registered on yelp and chose to write a review. While we were eating, a young couple (they couldn't have even been 21) was sitting at a table next to us on the patio. Once their server started taking their order, they were consistently asking for prices and sharing capabilities (young couple on a budget). I was sitting maybe 3-4 feet away and could easily hear everything being said. After a short while I hear them ask for a manager because a bug had fallen from the roof and they saw it. I thought to myself, "wow, really? You're outside in Arizona." Anyways, the manager came over, and apologized. Not quite sure what was said, I was beside myself and trying to enjoy my time with my family. Anyways the manager shortly came back over and I heard them asking for free food!!!! Im thinking to myself the whole time that these kids are just looking for a free meal and will do anything to get it. The manager walks away again, and they immediately started talking about how they were not ever coming back here because they have worked in restaurants for a while and their managers always buy the food when people are unhappy. I wanted to get up and smack the kid. On the way out the door I asked for the manager and let him know that I was proud of him for not buying those selfish kids their meals and that my family and I loved and enjoyed everything! I'm giving the Goodyear location 5 stars. Addressing all of the other reviews... The wait: YES, the wait is CRAZY right now. They don't take reservations or call ahead because think about it, they would be all booked until Christmas! It is a new restaurant, it is a crazy loved restaurant from the east valley, and it's the only one within a 25 mile radius and the only one in the west valley. Also, that should tell you something about how good their food is.. How many other restaurants have people waiting 3 HOURS for some food? Little to none. It's worth the wait. -honestly if you've been to any other location there is always a crazy wait, but it's crazy good food!!! There was a review on here that said its a new restaurant but the chain isn't so why not accommodate to that, what do you want them to do, open a restaurant with 300 tables to accommodate to them so there's no wait ever???? Sheesh! Take out: YES, it may take longer to order and receive your food right now but I don't understand why people think takeout has a separate kitchen for their own food??? It's obviously the same as the 3 hour wait restaurant! It only takes planning ahead. Like I said, it's known and loved & also worth the wait. The staff: I think the staff is marvelous! For only training for what 2-3 weeks, they really got the swing of it! Everyone is nice and smiling and always doing something. All I'm saying is give Oreganos your time and you will never regret it. Tonight I took my Family to Dinner. We sat outside on the patio and had Kathryn as our server. Kathryn set the Bar high for future visits. We ordered the Kids pizza for my two year old son. Kathryn had the forethought to swap his pizza over to a cool tray rather then bringing it on a hot one and risk the chance of my son burning himself. She also took it upon her self to clean up a small spill of milk that my son caused before I could. She made sure all drinks were constantly full and brought out extra drinks as severice started to pick up so there would be no dry glass. Kathryn was professional and enteractive with my family. For Kathryn to exhibit the high caliber service that my family gave when working in the industry speaks volumes in my book. I'll be sure to to stop back in again and ask for kathryn to be my server. This is based on a DoorDash delivery. I was expecting this to be a lot better based on reviews and price. The ziti was a little bland. On Door Dash it shows a bread bowl and gives you the option to put no you don't want it. It did not come in a bread bowl. I was so sad. I wanted all the carbs and gluten. The chicken piccata was so greasy we couldn't even eat it all. It's like they fried the chicken and then put right on the noodles without draining it. The bread that comes with the meals was nothing special. The wings were probably the best thing ordered. They were flavorful. They weren't as big as I thought since they're called Jumbo Wings....weird when they are normal size drums and flats. Overall a bit disappointed and will not eat there again. Best Italian food in town! Huge portions for an amazing price. My wife and I came in the other . day during dinner to no surprise, we waited about 45 minutes for a table. The bar was very convenient while we waited we got a couple peach Bellini's which were outstanding. Anna F. was our server and was impeccable! Answered all our questions about menu items and made everything mouthwatering I couldn't decide what to get. Per her recommendation I got the Lady Is a Scampi, all I have to say is WOW. The shrimp were huge like she described. The dish had just the right kick to it and more than worth the price. Tonight my fiancé, our baby and our two friends came out for dinner. The wait time to be seated wasn't too bad considering this being this locations second week being open. The wait time for our food however was another story, our food took almost an hour to arrive due to some kind of delay in the kitchen. Our waitress Casey was fantastic as well as the manger Dominic. Dominic took it upon himself to come over and introduce himself and apologize for the delay in receiving our dinner. Dominic went well ABOVE AND BEYOND to make it right. I went to Oregano's for the first time last night. The hostess quoted me a 45 min wait for a party of two but informed us that the bar was open seating. Luckily we were able to snag some seats! We were immediately greeted by Marisa. She was extremely friendly and helpful. She answered all of my alcohol and food questions. Marisa was also full of recommendations. I had the Bellini and it was to die for! After having one of those I understand the 2 drink limit. We then split the Mexico salad, the shrimp Diablo, and the thin crust meat pizza. Husband and I went here for a date night and let me tell you it was a great experience. First of all the food was great! The customer service was also fantastic. They give you so much food that you can literally order one entree and feed 3 people. The prices are phenomenal considering the quality and quantity of what you get. I got the bowl o pasta with meat balls and hubby got lady is a scampi. Both dishes were fantastic and a whole lot of food as I've mentioned earlier. The service was great, the food was delicious, but being from Chicago, I was a bit disappointed to find all the Chicago favorites were essentially "widely accepted" versions of all the foods I grew up with. Went with the Big Beef sandwich, which again was delicious, but not quite what I was hoping for. Same goes for when dessert rolled around, and being in an Italian Chicago style joint was sorely upset to find the only options are Cheesecake and Pizza cookies. Simple Italian Food We went to Oreganos on a Wednesday evening for my husbands birthday. Our wait time was about 30 minutes. We ordered Italian Fried Zucchini, Julius Caesar Salad, Boom Dip, and for our entrees Big Rig Pasta, and Hakuna Piccata. It was our first time and we were very impressed! The salad was over flowing, the fried zucchini with dip was delicious, the artichoke dip was good, and our entrees were generous portions. The dishes were simple but flavorful. It's nice to be able to say something good about Oreganos! I haven't been since my last post, months ago!!! I had decided it was black listed! Only because there was an accident on I-10 & a friend didn't want to sit in traffic headed to Scottsdale, she ask if I'd meet her at OREGANOS!! I told her it's not the same as Camelback but she insisted. "Give it 1 more chance". Thanks to Naomi and Kelly it was a great evening! Naomi met my every need and Kelly stepped in when needed! We moved here from NY just over a year ago and have been disappointed with the Italian food offerings in the Goodyear area where we live. We just returned from this amazing, funky, very cool place with wonderful food. We had a this crust pizza with sausage, meatballs and pepperoni that was truly excellent. The ingredients were fresh and delicious and the service was first class. The place was correctly practicing social distancing and was clean as could be. While I'm sad it took us a year to find them, we're elated we have and plan to return over and over again. read more

Came in for dinner tonight and sat at the bar with Abby and she gave my husband and I the best service we have ever had! I eat at Oregenos frequently! Love the Alfredo the Dark & the Caesar salad with chicken. I went today for lunch with my friend and not only was our meal delicious, our server Stephen was excellent! He was friendly, and checked on us frequently so our beverages were never empty and he made sure we were satisfied with our meal! Unfortunately, our most recent visit to Oregonos in Goodyear didn't live up to our expectations. We'd had positive experiences at other locations, but the pasta dishes we ordered this time around were just average. The biggest disappointment was the cold meatball, which was also an unexpected upcharge. Given our lackluster experience, we won't be returning to this location anytime soon. I always sit at the bar. They seem to always quote a long wait time even when half the restaurant is empty. So the bar is the way to go. All of a sudden i cannot order my Pizza cookie "uncooked". I've been doing it for years. Even got if from this location a few times. So, I order it on Postmates instead since I didn't have time to wait and I select the option (no toppings) for my ice cream. It's good. The problem is that I compare it to the mid town location on Camelback which is just better for some reason. The margaritas just aren't the same at this location and the food just ins't quite as good but it's still great food... better than driving 30 min to get to my fav location.
