I usually sit at the bar when eating at the Goodyear location, it's a good time. My favorite appetizers the Brussel Sprouts (order 1st takes 20 minutes) and Calamari, Best Pizza The Clark Street Meat and Best Sandwich: Chicken Parm. Because of social distancing we waited less than 10 minutes for a table on a beautiful, breezy afternoon. We noted pretty much right away that service was not going to be great so we ordered lunch with our drinks. Drinks came, food did not. 25 minutes later, it arrived. We didn't have silverware and asked the food runner/hostess for some. 5 minutes later she's standing at the hostess station so I got up to ask again for silverware. This time it arrived. The calamari strips were excellent. My side salad was overloaded with romaine. One small slice of tomato, 3 thinly sliced rings of cucumber and 3 croutons. Underwhelming. Hubs had angel hair pasta and meat sauce. There was on piece of meat which he put on the garlic bread to show. The pasta was so overcooked it was mushy. There was one waitress for the patio. She was doing the best she could but there was no way she could give her tables the attention. 2 stars because the calamari was outstanding. Won't go back. Many other choices. read more

Oreganos should have an asterisk under it saying "the same premises as Olive Garden, but actually a great value and significantly better food in a fast casual restaurant." A bit wordy I know, but Olive Garden has gone too long without filing a chapter 11. Anyway, I regular Oreganos all across the valley whenever I get a kick for Italian food and they always impress me with the price, quality, and service. Honestly I'm never a big fan of chain restaurants, but I'd say this tops the list. For those who have never been I'll describe the interior in the best way possible: a 1950s Chicago themed restaurant with the clutter of a Cracker Barrel on every surface you look. read more

Ordered the uno-one classic thin crust. It was probably one of the worst pizzas that we've had in years. It was very dry and barely any sauce on it. When I mentioned it to our server, she said that's the normal amount of sauce. She did offer if we wanted more sauce, but we declined. If it was the same sauce (that they charged us extra) for a side for our cheesy garlic bread, glad we declined as that had no flavor either. We'll stick to Barro's and Lou Malnatis! I have heard good things about Oregano's for a few years now, and I was happy to get the chance to visit them at last. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite fun, with lots of green and red and vintage artifacts. The TV played a series of black and white classics ranging from Elvis to the Lone Ranger. We arrived about 11:30am and were seated right away. We met our servers right away--a young woman in her second day of training, along with a manager overseeing that training. They both took excellent care of us. The in-restaurant menu provides a lot more information than the online version. The calorie count information was especially illuminating. The numbers looked a lot better after we were told that Oregano's serves HUGE quantities of food--that everything is likely two meals. My husband ordered two items off the lunch menu: a house salad and Alfredo the Dark. We were both stunned at the size of the house salad. It was a tower of lettuce, easily three times as large as the average side salad at a restaurant. I ordered the Oregano's Favorite Salad. As promised, it was indeed huge, and I was only able to eat half. I didn't even add the chicken. The mix of flavors was great, the Romaine crunchy and fresh. The honey vinaigrette was sweet without being cloying at all. I did ask for the dressing on the side, and I'm glad I did. When I asked for a container to carry out my remaining salad, they also brought lids for my dressing mini bowls. My husband enjoyed his pasta dish, too. I had a bite of his garlic bread and thought it was yummy. He added a sausage along with the dish, too, and that was REALLY good. I say that, and I'm usually not a sausage fan because I find them unpleasantly spicy. This sausage had a lot of flavor without giving me instant heartburn. I'd definitely come back here. I'd especially like to bring my parents when they visit Arizona next. I figure they'll like the food and what's on TV! read more

This has got to be the worst online ordering ever. I ordered my food online at 12:40, to be picked up at 6:00 p.m. I showed up at 5:50 p.m. and put my name on the list. As I waited I noticed the people that called in their order were getting their food before online orders. (Online orders are paid in advance) I wanted to get a refund , but was told they couldn't help me at the time, would have to wait, and that my refund would take 5 to 7 days to be returned to my card. I finally got my order at 8:15 p.m. Not only did I wait over two hours for my food, but when I got home, the pizza, the pasta, and the sweet potato fries were cold. I used to like Oreganos. This was my last visit. Just because someone says, "We're doing our best" doesn't make it ok. They put themselves in this situation by taking orders they couldn't handle. read more

Our service was great. A couple's weekend, stopped in for a dinner and noticed the place was crazy busy! They told us it would take our table an hour to be ready, so we ran out and did some errands, and our table was ready the minute they predicted.! My brother's family loves the stuffed deep dish pizza here and visiting for my niece's birthday, the pizza was going to be shared for her birthday dinner. Problem is, they no longer make deep dish pizza. What?! My brother was so disappointed as it was his favorite. They still make pan pizza and the thin crust. We went with two pan pizzas, one with pepperoni and the other mushrooms and black olives. My niece also likes pineapple with those vegetables, but they were out. Overall, the pizza was thick and delicious, with huge pieces. I could only eat one piece. But the crust left something to be desired. It was just a flavorless, crunchy crust. I wish it had been buttery and seasoned. I still liked the pizza enough I would order it again. A family feast, we also ordered wings, a stuffed veggie sandwich, spaghetti with 2 huge sausage links, and the ziti with a large meatball. The pastas are my brother's family repeat orders. I was disappointed to see the spaghetti only had a few tablespoons of sauce plopped in the middle, meaning the bulk was plain noodles. I recommend asking for extra sauce. The food was overwhelmed with Italian seasoning (they obviously don't know how to season their food. There was an unpleasant after taste due to seasonings. The meatballs looked like straight up cat food. The chicken parm featured 2 chicken patties which were embarrassing. Everything had a dishwasher aftertaste. The pasta was undercooked and very sour. The WiFi was horrible. The service could definitely be improved, as in they took a long time to get to us. They also have a fly problem, probably because they don't clean correctly. But your cook needs to quit trying to build temples and skyscrapers with his toppings and spread things out take his or her time and make the customers happy. AMAZING! I've wanted to go here for a long time, but the wait is always super long for our large family. My husband and I decided to go for date night. It did not disappoint. I broke down and ate all the carbs. We had the Guacatony for an appetizer. It is a parmesan pizza crust with guacamole. I had the Big Rig pasta dish and my husband had the Southwest Garlic Chicken Lesagna. They were both so yummy and comforting. Then for dessert (why not? Lol) we had the macadamia nut skillet cookie. Food was good once we got it, but a 50 minute wait after getting our appetizer for pasta and a turkey sandwich is excessive given they were not busy. Our server was not engaged in her job today, in fact she was quite dismissive of a glass shard on the rim of a Pilsner glass, thinking I was crazy. (She thought it was a piece of ice since they have glassware in a freezer). I'll be back because I know this isn't the norm for this place. UPDATE: After a nice email exchange with Tiffany, the GM of this location, I'm confident that this incident is isolated and it will be used as a "coaching moment" for her team. We've been here several times before but never had an experience like the one we had last night! We were told it was a 35-40 min wait, but the bar was open seating. We noticed that a spot might open up at the bar before the wait time, so we sat at an empty table close to that spot at the bar to wait. Well that's where Donald comes into the picture. He asked if we needed menus, we replied with what we were waiting for and he replied with "if you wanna sit here we can make that happen" he got us menus, drinks, and EXCEPTIONAL service the rest of the night! He continued to stop by and make sure our drinks were full and our experience was great! PLEASE KNOW Donald was NOT our server!! He was an employee that went over and beyond to make our dining experience exceptional. Now onto our server Bri! What a sweet young lady. Terrible experience. Was quoted 1-1.5 hours for a wait, turned into a 2.5 hour wait. We were listed on the Yelp waitlist as #1 in line at 1.25 hours of our wait. We were only seated when I went around the restaurant and pointed out a table we could be seated at. The hostess told us she could not seat us there. We asked to see the manager and he seated us there no problem. Had we known an accurate wait time, we would have chosen to eat elsewhere. Food was very slow to arrive.
