WORST BUSINESS I'VE EVER DEALT WITH!!! Brent Brown Toyota is DISHONEST and has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I took my car in for it's routine maintenance (I called and scheduled 3 days in advance), they told me it would take 30-45 minutes, it took over 2 hours! After an hour of waiting 1 staff member told me it would just be 10 more minutes, but it ended up being another hour! I had to demand them to finish up and get me my car because I was late for another appointment. The staff was incredibly rude during the whole ordeal. SO DISHONEST When they FINALLY brought me my car the customer service girl told me that I needed a new water pump, I told her I needed to take it for a second opinion, so she brought out an older customer service rep who tried to pressure me into having the work done then and there. I had to tell them "no" 4 times. A few days later I took my car to another mechanic who told me my water pump was in great shape. I will never do business with them again. Worst company to deal with ever!!! I took my car to another dealership while i was out of town on a warranty issue. the dealer told us to take the car back to where we bought it. we took it back to Brent Brown Toyota and they told us they would not fix it. we took it to another local dealer and they told us it was for sure broken and to take it back to Brent brown they even wrote us a letter. Brent brown still refused to fix it. this is not the first time we have had issues with them. they have tried to rip us off on 3 separate occasions. never use this dealership for anything at all. you will regret it!!! read more

the worst experience with a car dealer I've had. By far. I'm not one for writing reviews, I know someone has had 'that' bad experience everywhere, but these guys were way over the top. The only good thing from my car buying experience was our salesman was friendly, and never pushy. however, he was full of false information. The first car we drove had a bad suspension, and tires that were unfit for the road. They were 9 years old, cracked, and had a separated belt that created unbearable road noise. When I checked the heater it did not work. after looking around the lot, my wife and I found a highlander we liked. I asked the salesman about warranties for cars with over 100k miles. He implied I could purchase one for an additional charge. after waiting almost 3 hours to go over our paperwork with the accountant, he said the dont do mile warranties for used cars. I made a quick decision, and decided to go ahead with our purchase. the accountant, Charlie, handed me a copy of the pre-sale paperwork. I noticed a charge of $395 for a vehicle theft recovery (VTR). Having purchased from car dealerships before (out of state), I'd never seen that, or even heard of a VTR before. My impression was that it had to do with the state of Utah (I was already paying a doc, there's no other reason for a dealer to tag me with fees, right?) So I asked Charlie if it was a tax, to which he replied, "yes".. Therin lies one of the biggest deceptions in their company. it was several days later, I pulled up information on what exactly a VTR fee does for you. I noticed the charge varied greatly by dealership, this coming to the conclusion it was NOT a tax, as I was told by Charlie...... I will also paraphrase my conclusion, it is ineffective, and a flat out waste of money. the dealership includes the VTR on the bill and will NOT give you the option to remove it unless you tell them you dont want it. Also, in concluding the financial end with Charlie, I suggested the bank I had in mind to finance with. After a couple minutes on his computer, he said , oh, it looks like they won't finance this particular vehicle because of the miles. Okay, whatever. No biggie. I rolled with it. He gave me the name of a credit union that would. He then said I had a FIXED rate of 5.7% that would not change, only to call back 2 days later and say, oh, its actually gonna be 7%. I need you to come in so we can redo the paperwork. Okay, no big deal to me, a few dollars more per month wont kill me, although, this is very poor on the budiness end, regardless of fault, you tell someone their rate is fixed and wont change. What if I had refused to come in to re do paperwork? What then? ive dealt with plenty of people with that mentality, regardless of how little the inconvenience or change in rate. Right before I go in, I stopped at my credit union ( the one I originally wanted to finance through), and as you guessed, they were more than happy to finance that vehicle. (at a much lower rate, too) So after all the lies, deception, and misinformation this place will give, I can't in good faith recommend them for business. I think they lack merit in inspecting their used cars, as was apparent in that first car we drove. Those are some really obvious things to overlook. As for new cars, way overpriced. Again, this is the last place I'll go after never seeing any of that garbage from dealerships who actually put the customer first. read more

Don't say you weren't warned. Salesman are dishonest and have no problem looking you in the eye and lying to your face. You actually sign a document here that says "I understand anything told to me verbally is void". If that doesn't scare you away then what will? Then, they told me there financing is "just the same as using a credit union" and they will even show you the credit unions website. I told if there was any financing fees then I would rather pay cash, but if not then I figured I would take advantage of interest rates. Next thing I know they came up with several hundreds of dollars in fees for financing. Good thing they filled the contract out wrong so I good take it back and shove it in there face. I did the financing through UCCU and asked Brent Brown for the exact amount, and THEY LIED ON THE AMOUNT! I scanned the contract an realized the real amount was $800 less then what they told me I had to pay! Every dept I worked with lacked any kind of integrity and somehow can sleep at night. If you go to Brent brown to get your flat tire repaired, don't they don't do it right an can not guarantee that it is fixed. The use a rope plug type to patch the hole. It's just a short rope with glue on it. The same stuff you can find on a emergencies tire repar kit you can buy at walmart. The proper way of doing a tire repair is to dismount the tire to inspect the inside of the tire and use a plug patch type to plug the hole, which is also DOT approved. Don't go to Brent brown to get your flat tire repaired you may end up paying for a new tire. read more

This dealership will not hesitate to rip you off for everything you've got and then proceed to treat you like garbage anytime you come back after the initial sale. I spent more money than anyone else on a new Tacoma that was riddled with problems, and let them give me peanuts for my trade. I guess it's my bad for allowing that to happen, but they have no integrity and will happily take you out to the cleaners if you give them the opportunity. I then had to spend countless days over the last 8 months dealing with their incompetent service department getting things fixed. They wasted so much of my time it's almost criminal. The truck had rattles everywhere that took several visits to take care of. It had a persisting Bluetooth connectivity issue that was never resolved after more than a dozen visits totaling close to 20 hours of my time. The hood vibrates and flexes driving over 30mph or going over bumps, which they took 3 days to "fix" by putting double sided tape between the hood skin and framework underneath. They then made bogus claims about how they redid all the welds under the hood and it had no further problems. It was a load of BS and nothing was effectively done. It continued to vibrate and flex before I could even leave the parking lot after picking it up for that visit. The transmission fluid was low and they never bothered to check it during my maintenance visit, during which the report stated that they checked and topped off "all fluids" and it wasn't until started having shifting problems that they finally checked and found it to be 3/4 of a quart low. I had to make 4 separate appointments just to get a light housing replaced that started taking on water. The first thing they did was try to tell me that it happened because I must have modified my suspension. The truck was bone stock, no modifications were ever done. After explaining that they tried blaming it on the car wash. I'm sorry, but if washing the truck was going to cause damage then Toyota R&D really did something wrong. Eventually they were convinced to do something about it. I was told the replacement part would be there in a couple days, so I scheduled an appointment to get it fixed a week later. The week goes by and I go in. They ordered the wrong part. Frustrated, I schedule another appointment for two weeks later. That visit comes up, I arrive on time, and it takes them 30 minutes of having my truck to finally tell me they don't even have the part because it was on back order. Another morning wasted. It took more than a month to finally get the part and make the repair. On one of the many visits to their service bay one of their technicians even backed my truck over a parked car in their lot. The thing has reverse sensors and a camera yet they couldn't be bothered to use them and damaged the rear bumper on my new truck. It took the customer service manager several months to make it right, and when it was replaced the lead tech broke off one of the mounting clips on the new bumper cover and tried to hide it from me. The point of my novel of a review is this dealership is dishonest, disrespectful, and once you make the purchase they will dishonor their commitments to the customer and treat you like you're a nuisance instead of someone who paid over 40K for a new vehicle and expected to be appreciated at least. I have been very happy with my experiences at Brent Brown Toyota. I have had a 60K service and 3 oil changes part of their Toyota Care package. The price is reasonable and because of choosing the synthetic option which has longer service intervals they include free interim inspections to ensure fluids are topped off and no other problems develop. They are always fast, friendly and have done a great job with the car. I was blown away at my last service when I received a video overview of the multipoint inspection from the technician while working on my car showing the issues. The company I work for also has a work vehicle that is maintained here (Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid) and we have always had good services with that one too. In fact the last service for that car they included a free alignment from prior suspension work they had done but at that time they didn't want to waste the alignment on the bad tires we had at the time. This service we changed the tires and the alignment they threw in because they had notes about it. Very happy with Brent Brown. read more

The minute you don't buy a car RIGHT away...Whoa you're worthless to them. I called in to ask if someone could help give me with a couple of used Hondas I wanted to check out and I explained to them how important customer service was to me as I had a poor experience earlier that day. The rep on the phone insured that Chris would be able to help me and how fantastic he was. I came in 30 min later and Chris helped me for about 4 minutes and then handed me off to another sales man named Tyler. Tyler was so-so during the sales process, almost like he didn't care and he really just let the cars sell themselves, but he did go out of his way to grab a couple cars for me to test drive. The Honda Accord I wanted was not on that list, even though I asked a few times and by the time he agreed to go get it someone was already in the process of buying. I took a 2015 Toyota Corolla on a test drive- nice car, great actually, but not as good resale value as Honda and I prefer Hondas in general. (Notice how 2014's were not even offered to me). When I came back with the car he badgered me right away because I was not interested in buying right then. He promised me I wouldn't find a better deal anywhere else and that I was crazy if I didn't get it. I told him I was in the process of still looking for cars and that in no way was I going to buy that night and maybe if I didn't like what Stockton 12 Hondas had to offer that I might come back and get it the next day. I asked him to print off the facts about the car for me and to write down this "great" deal he was offering so I could compare to other cars. He reluctantly did that and took his sweet time grabbing my car key so I could get out of there to make an appointment I had at Stockton on time, to which he stated " Oh, Stockton?! Ya, good luck getting out of there!" - Very awkward and just terrible professionalism. My friend (who was with me )and I were silent at that comment. He then told me he was going to grab my key and instead brought the manager over to berate me some more into buying. The sales pitch from the manager Spencer was also very poor and extremely uncomfortable. His questions, although good questions were asked at a very poor time and they were questions that my original sales person should have asked from the very beginning. By the time I got out of there, both my friend and I were extremely relieved. I wouldn't have bought a car from them even if it was my "dream" car with the best deal with the best price in Utah. Just awful. I have NEVER written a poor review in my lifetime of 24 years and I am definitely one to give praise where it is due. - A car is a big purchase. It is big deal, especially for a young college student. I expect above and beyond customer service and all around experience when I am about to purchase a 20k dollar vehicle. That's why I'm even writing a review, because I never do this. The sad thing is that the company was recommended by a family friend so I think there must be a few bad eggs, or just people having bad days maybe. Take this review as you will, just giving my honest experience. Oh and I did end up buying a brand new Honda Civic that night at Stockton 12 Hondas in Sandy. WAY better deal than Brent Brown! And it was the best customer service experience I have ever had. I would've even paid 2k more than I needed to just because of how well I was treated. Forgot to mention, I felt that I was kind of put on lower priority or just looked down upon or seen as an "easy sell" because I am a young female, who brought a female friend and we didn't know a "ton" about cars. I know enough to know a good deal and am extremely savvy with finances with an extremely high credit score. They definitely missed out on that one. read more

Beware and be prepared to deal with a very uncomfortable and strange experience bordering on the bizarre. Salesman and Sales managers will look directly into your eyes then speak in half truths, and unrealistic interpretations. My experience was very strange indeed, these Salesmen and Managers would verbally say one price then would write down different figures on their worksheet all while keeping a straight face. When you would point it out to them they would act like it was no big deal and would verbally speak the original price but again would not update the worksheet. If the verbal price per month is $375.00 is there a reason why anyone would need to write down $382.50, sure not a huge difference but definitely not the exact numbers being spoken. Another odd thing is when they would write down 60 month and 72 months and the agreed payment amount for either month, but those figures would not be possible according to the Finance department once you made it into their room, as if each department were using different calculators? To help support that discussion the worksheet used in the sales department will somehow mysteriously disappear and cannot be found, but when you insist on starting the sales process over to create a new worksheet all of the sudden it is located. Also very strange is the fact that price guides like the NADA scale is fairly accurate for the vehicle they are selling according to them but, they will state the scale for your trade-in value is not as accurate, and once again they do that while keeping a straight face. Most things you say are taken as "not possible" while the things they say are always possible. This is one sided and deceitful; it is done with a purpose and is accepted by this dealership. Do all your homework beforehand, be completely prepared and ready to deal with people who are trained and OK with being one sided, only interested in tricking you to pay as much as possible and not open to helping you make the best financial decision for you. I have never felt buyer's remorse because I purchased what I wanted but, I am now driving a ten year old vehicle carrying a seven year note because their finance experts told me that was the only possible option. Of course when I spoke with the manager at my local credit union she asked what was wrong with me and my 800 plus credit score, what was I thinking? that's how befuddled I had become with all the magicians talk while sitting with finance and being told "sign her, sign there" with no detailed explanation. So unfortunately I drove away felling a little confused, belittled, ashamed and embarrassed in myself. Their behaviors and tactics are bizarre, deceitful, and feel very one sided. I was so perplexed by their unconscious lopsidedness that I sat there like a deer in the headlights, unable to think rationally, like being in a 12 hour interrogation. For me it became a "where do I sign" just to get out of here event, I may as well have had been sitting in a gas chamber, I had entered a twilight zone and my thoughts had become miles away. If you are curious as to what I am talking about look for a condescending reply to my feedback. Expect something like; "We understand buying a used car can be frustrating, we would like to speak to you about your situation, please contact Karen our support specialist" the dealership will basically be stating the obvious but placing the blame solely on the customer and nothing to do with them. While a company living in reality and demonstrating some level of integrity would take on at least part of the ownership and reply something like; "We are sorry to hear that our used car process was a frustration for you, please contact Karen our support specialist we would like to help reduce any of the frustration if possible". But a response like that would be out of character for this group. If you intend to visit this dealership remember the companies slogan; Brent Brown "we're bending you over backwards to make a sell". Don't show up unprepared the way I did, do some research first, bring in a check list of the forms that finance is supposed to cover with you, and now what each form is actually for. Check and print-out the NADA and if you have a trade in ask them to tell you where on the price gage your trade in fits and why they feel that way, be prepared to disagree using real info and any maintenance info you have. Use the same logic for the car you plan to buy. Get everything single thing in writing immediately when anyone agrees to something, have a manager initial it and take a picture of the form with your phone in case the form accidentally disappears. if you play the silly game of sign here on this sheet then ask for a copy of anything that has your signature on it. I would also suggest that you do not purchase any additional warranties or service packages from them, they are useless, overpriced and will not work around your convenience. read more

HAD TRUCK ALL DAY, LIED ABOUT EVEN LOOKING AT IT! - Took my Tacoma in at 9 AM for an issue that I experience every day, which Toyota has published a service bulletin (TSB) on. I even mentioned the TSB when dropping it off. 3 PM, I finally get a call stating they "could not reproduce the issue, so nothing they can do." Asked them to just apply the TSB fix anyway and they told me there was no TSB for that issue, and nothing for my VIN. I looked it up and gave them the TSB #, which my VIN is clearly on, and they said they'd go check again. At 5:45 PM (6 PM close) they call back saying they "still couldn't reproduce the issue, because it requires a master tech to take lots of measurements and laser readings to get it to precise temperatures, and no master techs available today." None of that is remotely relevant to the issue, and I was looking directly at the TSB, which also made no mention of any of it. At this point, I made up my mind that I was going to a different dealer for the fix, so I went to pick up the truck, and THE MILEAGE HAD NOT CHANGED SINCE I DROPPED IT OFF!! THEY CLEARLY NEVER EVEN TRIED TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE, LIED TO ME MULTIPLE TIMES, AND KEPT MY TRUCK ALL DAY FOR NO REASON!!! read more

Worst experience Ive ever had at a dealership. I had been talking with a salesman every day for about a week about a used car in their inventory. I live about 90 minutes away from the dealership, so I wanted to make sure my trip was worth it. After requesting pictures of the vehicle (which took about 3 days to get), I called to make an appointment. I made sure the car was still available, told them I was pre-approved for a loan, made sure they worked with my credit union on Saturdays, and told them I would be there in 90 minutes. When I was 10 minutes away from the dealership, the salesman I had been working with called and said he sold the vehicle, and wanted to let me know so I didnt waste a trip down. Both he and his manager seemed entirely apathetic about my wasting my Saturday, and 40 bucks in gas. read more

I took my 2004 Toyota Sienna in for a problem with the skid control system. When I am on the freeway it starts to activate for no reason and then my ABS kicks in. I took it in for this problem and they told me it was the catalytic converter. I told them it made no sense that has nothing to do with the skid control system. They guaranteed me that would fix the problem. On the way home after $725 later, my skid control problem was still happening. I drove right back and they could not find the problem. I then let them know they had replaced a part that did not need to be replaced and my vehicle still has the same problem. They told me when they get the loner van back they would call me back so they could keep my car for awhile. They never called me to bring the car back to fix the problem. I have almost got in two major accidents because this problem has not been fixed. I am extremely frustrated that toyota can not fix the problem and that I spent $720 and the problem was not taken care of. Toyota has lost all of my business. read more

I almost gave these guys a two star only because I am hoping, and assuming, that the mechanics are better than the others I dealt with. I took my Tacoma in today and Jenn Clark helped me. After a few hours of diagnosis she came and spelled it all for me and then quoted me $490 plus tax. Twice I asked if that was absolutely the total. Twice she replied yes, plus tax of course. A couple hours later I went to pay and the amount was now $641! They called her over and she said I must have misunderstood her because she was only quoting me the new stuff and not the service stuff I had already agreed to. Well, whatever she was thinking, I know what the word total means. She doesn't. And the man doing the billing agreed with her even though she fully admitted what she had told me, I just misunderstood her! I will not go broke over a hundred bucks, that isn't the point. I despise being told one thing and then another happens and you can do nothing about it as they have your truck. And to top it all off, despite assuring me they would correct it, they gave me an invoice with a three year old owners name on the work sheet. Incompetent. My mistake was in not coming here to help and reading the reviews first. Apparently I am not alone in my experience as they only have two and a half stars. Oh well, life goes on. I'm trying not to give specifics because I don't want anyone to get in trouble. I had free service for my new Toyota; oil change and tire rotation. I made an appointment and took it in. The service guy I talked to made me feel bad. He talked down to me. No wonder I usually change my own oil even if given a free oil change there. I wish I had just been spoken to with respect and kindness. Businesses should make customers feel wanted, respected, proud to own their brand, and glad to go visit their company. I bought a certified suv from them and after I bought it found out the battery was bad. Took it in to get fixed and was told it was not covered under any of my warranties. The sales man I dealt with was not very honest, just wanted the sale I'm sure. As soon as you sign the paperwork you won't hear from them unless they are trying to get you to bring the car in for service and pay much more than anywhere else. I like my Toyota but I will not be taking it back to Brent Brown for any reason. After shopping around online and going to many many dealerships we found ourselves walking into Brent Brown looking for a cheap little car to get us by. We were immediately approached by Sheldon Williams. He not only was incredibly patient while my Husband asked question after question, but he got us into a brand new Rav4 when we thought we were only going to be able to get a crappy piece of junk. He helped us get to the payment we needed to be at, answered all the ridiculous questions and even called the week after AND month after to see how we were enjoying it and if we had any questions. I just went back in today to get my service done for the first 5K mile and met with John G. who was so helpful and friendly. As I was sitting in the service section waiting for my Rav to get done Sheldon spotted me and took the time to greet me and asked how things were. Talk about your follow up!! Not long after talking with Sheldon I was told my Rav4 was finished and ready for me! I thanked John for his courtesy and left even more happy then when I got there. A dealership that treats you like Family and makes sure you are taken care of and not left wondering- now thats a dealer for me! I will never have to look at different dealers and be harassed again! I wish I could give zero stars. there service department is full of a bunch of UN-educated baboons. my mother's car broke down due to a faulty ECM which was RECALLED on her corolla. She managed to get the car to the dealership. The service tech told her that in the 11yrs. he had been doing this he has never seen the ECM cause a car to stall. Upon reading the recall info he then found that a cracked ECM will indeed cause this problem. After the eternity it took them to change it, he then told her that it was running rich, and recommended a fuel line flush. If a car is running rich that means it's is getting too much fuel!!! Flushing the line to remove debris, would normally be used if the car were running lean, and not receiving the fuel required. What the real issue was, was that he never re programmed the ECM luckily The ECM has a re learn function after the o2 sensors have achieved proper running temp. Shouldn't someone who has been doing this 11 yrs. know this? I do. He tried to sell her a 280 dollar fuel filter, and flush that she didn't need, and is a job that only takes me 30 minutes. with a 40 dollar filter that makes shop rate over 400 per hour! I think not! How can they sleep at night trying to scam someone like this. He sent my mother home in a car that was not ready, and had her terrified. It was running terrible for appr. 20 minutes, until voila the ECM re programmed the injection and timing, and it runs like a top, as it always has. Trying to sell someone services that aren't needed, using scare tactics, is disgusting. I will never allow any loved ones to do business here. Service was terrible, selling tactics were outlandish and barbaric, and had I been there at my mothers side I would have given them a what for. They were really great! I worked with Greg and I bought my car in about two hours. The best thing is to go shopping for cars on the last day of the month and maybe on a holiday like Halloween (that's what I did) and there were not a lot of other customers, so everything happened efficiently. I got a great car and the people were all very nice and trusted us on the price we told them we saw online; it was nice to not have to prove to them or try to haggle to have the price lowered. And when they tried to add an extra fee, we just said we didn't want that fee on there and they removed it right away. The actual process of buying our van wasn't too terrible. It was LONG and we had our 4 year old and newborn with us. However, everything since we bought has seemed to go wrong. We are now 5 month out from purchasing our vehicle and we STILL DO NOT HAVE license plates. I have had to call numerous times to follow up on this. NEVER has anyone called me to be proactive in the process. Finally I got tired of talking to people that didn't seem to be able to get anything done and I called Brent Brown/Larry Terry (owner and GM). Of course I got their secretary's voice mail. No one has called me back. I was hoping that someone with a bigger stick could get this sorted out. From what I am told, our vehicle/VIN was titled to the wrong person. Every time I have called, they have extended our temporary tags...but have not been able to accurately give us a time frame for resolution. Quite frankly I am getting tired of this. Had I know back in July that this is where we would be months later, I would have driven a little further to either Larry H Miller Toyota or Karl Malone Toyota and bought the vehicle from them. Service appointments have been so so. We have had one regular service and one appointment to install some of the after market protectors. We also had a defective clicker that had to be programmed. That appointment was a joke. Again, we have small children. We were told 2-4 hours. the time came and went and our kids were understandably antsy and we were annoyed. They did finally get us a loaner car so we could run a couple of errands while we were waiting, but that alone was a pain to transfer both car seats. We were closer to 8 hours than 4. The regular service came and went with no issue. I was a little surprised that they only change the fully synthetic oil every 10,000 miles. Keep in mind that with all of these appointments, we now live 2 hours away. About 3 months after we bought the vehicle we moved. So each appointment becomes critical. Overall I am very unimpressed with the service for existing customers. It seems like they tell you all these wonderful things they will do just to get your business and then don't follow through with any of it. Back to the original issue...FIVE months for license plates is ridiculous. And the level of follow through with the issue is laughable. read more

I was contacted by the service manager today and was asked to bring my vehicle in. They are going to repair the damage next week. The manager was very kind and lived up to the company's motto of "bending over backwards" to help. read more

Called looking for a replacement mechanical key (not the electric one) for my Prius. Was quoted $90! A month earlier I had gotten it for $17 in Connecticut. When I mentioned that the girl on the phone insinuated I was lying and said over there it would $70 (claimed she just looked it up). Anyway, I came in the next day to in person to make sure there wasn't a misunderstanding. The same girl I talked to on the phone was there. I presented my receipt from the CT dealership for $17 after making sure that it was, in fact, $90. It still was. No big deal that different locations charge different things, but that's a huuuge difference. Anyway, she seemed annoyed that I called her out on the $17 key (she also basically refused to tell me why she said it was $70 on the east coast, when obviously I proved it wasn't. ?) and she called her supervisor over to dodge the question. Nice guy, but claimed that the metal they use is special...? I was a bit confused by that, but I told him thank you for clearing that up and left. I have never heard of a car/house key being so much because of the quality of metal in the area...? Baffled, honestly. The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is because awhile back I brought the car in the garage for alittle bit of work and the garage guys were pretty nice guys. And looking at the other reviews for the place I can see they are no strangers to bad customer service and unfair prices.... $90 for a spare mechanical key! Imagine if you changed all the locks on your house and you needed duplicates. Just having 4 of those made would cost you $360 (plus tax) for 4 house keys if you were buying from these guys!!! The Brent Brown staff fit every sterotype when it comes to "car salesman". They will be your best friends up until you sign the paperwork. I purchased a new Tundra in 2017 and it has been the biggest mistake I've ever made. During my number to number warranty period, I asked on 4 different occasions to have my front end checked out. Overtime I was told on pick up that they couldn't find the problem or that is was resolved. Needless to say, it never was. I now have 1 completely bald tire that is ready to blowout at anytime. I tried to make an appointment with a salesman named Chess and it took 2 weeks for a response. When I took my truck in I was immediately passed off to someone else who took me to the service department. I dealt with Mike and he did everything he could to push the blame off of the service department. In follow up texts with Chess, the attitude went from "let's take care of this" to "take your problem elsewhere" in an instant. Do not waste your hard earned money at this dealership. read more

I know as an employer myself some employees are just trouble and you never hear about the trouble because its way down the chain. Social media seems to be a good thing after I posted feed back Kalyan Clement responded Jeremy Tomas the salesman also responded. Kalyan returned the money I paid for the warranty and also Jeremy sent me a check for the door latch that broke. Both Jeremy and Kalyan did the right thing. It is a shame I had to prepare a case for the department of consumer affairs and was prepared to take legal action if it went that direction. But Kalyan and Jeremy went out of there way to do the right thing. I would recommend looking up Jeremy Tomas if you do buy there, thanks to Jeremy and Kalyan. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this dealership. After trying an independent shop, I decided to take my kids' car to the professionals to fix an electrical problem and a check engine light. The shop diagnosed both issues and I spent $1700 on a new alternator and set of coils. Not much more than a day after my kids got the car back, the car would not turn over (which was the original problem), leaving my kids stranded. Needless to say, I was not happy to have spent $1700 for nothing, so I called and spoke to Mike the service manager. He said we needed to bring it back in, so they could "make it right." I had to go through the hassle and expense of arranging another tow and having the car brought back to the dealership. Now aware of my displeasure, the tech had no problem zeroing in on the actually problem -- the radio was shorting out and draining the battery. I know enough about cars, that a parasitic drain from a radio does not require a new alternator. When I pointed that out to Mike, he assured me repeatedly that the tech checked the alternator and it was also bad. I want to believe, but how can I trust a shop that also charged me $84 to needlessly replace a drive belt that was less than 6 months old. Oh, and Mike's making it right was referring me to Pro Audio to have the radio fixed. Thanks! Now today, the check engine light is back on and the scanner is showing the same codes that replacing the coils was supposed to fix. Really? Is this place taking advantage of naïve college students who have limited experience dealing with car repairs or are the techs just really that bad at diagnosis? I would be deeply ashamed of the service provided if this were my shop. read more

Bought my dream car two nights ago and have been physically ill ever since. I'm 45 yrs old and I'm certain I've made the biggest mistake of my life and I've made a LOT of mistakes! Right now I'm trying to reach them to see if they will please take the car back but no answer. I got a good deal on the car but was totally screwed on my trade-in. The salesman never went over that with me except "we paid your car off" and the only number he kept showing me was the purchase of my car. I feel completely taken advantage of and yes I do take some responsibility for my actions, after all in the one making payments that I absolutely cannot afford and told him that. My interest rate isn't even that high. When all said and done I'm paying $43,000 for a $23,000 car and eating way too much on my trade-In and I'm going by KBB prices. I'm sick sick sick. I almost always read reviews and really wish I would have this time that way I would have went up north to Karl Malone. read more

Lie + dishonest = Brent Brown Toyota. I would be ashamed if I were Toyota and I knew that THE MOST DISHONEST people in the car dealing field were representing my brand. After fighting more than 5 hours, I finally got the car at the price that they told me they would do it. Then, after finding that the car was a piece of cr@^&% ... I went 3 times trying to exchange the car but nobody would even listen to me. They would always say that the person who sold the car would be able to help me more with that, but this person was never there. When I finally found him (in the 4th time that I was there) he offered me nothing that I would like. I tried to sell back the car, but they would pay $17K for a car that a bought ONE MONTH before for $22K and was selling at a price tag of $26!!!!! Guess what? They said that they would get my credit approved by the next day and them we would talk more about the "trad-in" price. After 3 WEEKS without hear anything back from them, I went there to cancel every possible service that I had bought, and I learned that my credit was approved the day after they requested, but I was never contacted! They literally DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS, just customers' money! If you got a problem with their sale, that's your problem not theirs. I am tired of dishonest people that lie all the time to get MONEY! It is useless to say that it is impossible to contact someone there who will at least listen to your problem. Brent Brown Toyota is the WORT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I 'VE EVER HAD in 28 years!!!!! Stay away from them, or pray for no further surprises. read more
