Orient Sushi & Grill is SOLID!! I've come in at least 3 times now and they are pretty consistent. The service is great, and the food can't be beat! I love the AYCE options. You can choose AYEC Sushi or Sashimi for a great price. The AYCE options include whatever is in the regular menu too, I believe. I have sat at the bar twice and they are quick to get your food orders out. It can get loud during busy times but it doesn't bother me. On my last visit here, I met a random guy who also sat at the bar during his business trip. Turns out he is also a sashimi lover like me! I have yet to try the other me up times other than Sushi. The Chinese food looks amazing and the portions are generous. I'm glad I have this option super close to me. It's become a regular spot in my rotation. Offering great prices and services coupled with fresh food made to order, you cannot go wrong here. Lots of parking is available right outside. Stop in and give them a try!

We're repeat customers here because the sushi is always fresh and delicious. Service was quick and friendly as always. Highly recommend!

Been going here since highschool. The portions are big for what you pay for. Service is very to the point. The vibe is chill not fancy.

We were in the mood for sushi on a Saturday night. Found this restaurant on YELP, read several 5 star reviews from fellow YES members. Looked like good place to try! Parking was easy and plentiful. We arrived about 7:30pm, we were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant's ambiance was lively, busy with a buzz. Loved the open kitchen and seeing the sushi chef's preform their magic, prepare rolls, nigiri and sashimi. They offer AYCE sushi for $29.95 or sashimi for $43.95. We opted for sushi. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered questions we had on a few of their rolls. We ordered albacore, eel, octopus, salmon, smoked salmon, tuna, yellow tail nigiri, a Norway roll, Caterpillar roll and a Salmon Avocado roll to start. The smoked salmon nigiri was the standout! Fabulous flavors, unique, first time I've tried it and will now will be looking for it! The octopus nigiri was chewy and lacked seasoning, the only mid-step of our meal. The eel nigiri and Caterpillar roll was delicious, loved the meaty texture combined with avocado and eel sauce. A great cooked sushi option. We followed up with a tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, spicy salmon and spider roll. All the salmon, tuna, yellow tail nigiri and rolls were fantastic, fresh and tasty! We tried the spider roll to explore a soft shelled crab roll. It was tasty although not our favorite, we seldom eat fried food. We look forward to returning! Highly recommended!

All you can eat sushi here. When in doubt just go for it! I've frequented here multiple times and the best option is the AYCE. If one person wants the AYCE then the rest of the table must follow suit. I love the avocado salad, seaweed salad, tuna tataki, yellowtail nigiri, salmon nigiri, eel nigiri and many others. Just prepare yourselves for a very full belly if you have no control. If you're lucky you may get a picture posted on the wall and become the wall of fame for Orient customers! Service is good and staff is great. Plenty of tables for a big group and small groups. Will be here again soon!

First time here for AYCE ($29.95 sushi) and I think the rolls were a bit too big, especially for 8 pieces per roll. The menu wasn't as robust so it took a while for me to choose an item since nothing stood out. We ordered the calamari app and they gave a huge plate of it without any lemons. The fried rolls were massive. They had penny beers for sake bombs. Service was okay and food came out fast but nothing really stood out for me to want to come back.

The family has been here a few times, and we always leave satisfied. I was undecided, so I went with the AYCE, which combined a few kitchen items (Chinese) along with traditional (Japanese) sushi rolls, maki rolls, and nigiri. The service is great and the food was good (especially the sushi, which seemed fresh). Enjoyed the tightly rolled sushi and the Chicken Katsu was hot and crispy. We came towards the end of the night and were the last ones to leave, but didn't feel pressured to hurry up & finish.

We are still BIG fans of their sushi and tempura. We are AVID supporters of delivery, but I was wanting us to go out for dinner. We decided to come here since they still offer their AYCE menu ($29.95 for sushi AYCE.) We were seated right away, and it was SO BUSY around us for Sunday night dinner. The quality of the fish is always top notch for us. I highly recommend their yellowtail, unagi (eel), salmon, and tempura.

I feel ashamed of myself for having eaten here so many times only to realize that I never posted a Yelp review. 5 stars all the way. The owners are so kind! My family comes here quite often. If we lived closer, I would come once a week! We typically do AYCE sushi or sashimi. Their sushi is fresh and delicious. I really love Salmon and can eat just that. The space is homey and there's a wall of photos of customers. I highly recommend this place!

Disappointed in miso soup. It was not miso broth. It tasted more like ramen broth watered down. Not one tofu piece and barely seaweed. What a waste

Food - I was underwhelmed. I like other AYCE sushi places more. For some reason, I think it didn't taste as fresh as other places. Also, it's a place for large groups. With AYCE they portion out the food too big. If you want to sample the appetizers you shouldn't because they give you big portions that you may not be able to finish before you get too full to eat the sushi. Seemed a bit more expensive than other places. Atmosphere - No strange or strong odors or smells. I did not visit the restroom if they have one. The noise levels were okay. Pleasant temperature inside. I have been to some places where it's been hot or cold. It was somewhat busy inside. Seemed moderately busy. Service - There were about two sushi chefs I could see. I saw a couple of employees serving the food. The service here seemed slow. Order and pay at the table. No self seating. Parking - Surface parking lot. No parking meter or parking structures or solar panels. Unique - Nothing to add here at this time. Did not see a health rating on Yelp.

Ask the Community - Orient Sushi Grill

What is the price for the AYCE sushi? And is there specific days/times for the AYCE sushi?

What is it included in the AYCE menu? can the restaurant post a picture? the most updated AYCE menu was from 2018

AYCE sushi includes most standard rolls and nigiri, along with a lot of other kitchen items. It does not include expensive sushi items like uni or ikura and of course stuff like geoduck, etc. They also took the kalbi off the kitchen item menu too.

Do they offer AYCE sushi now?

Yes; and also AYCE sashimi too.

    When is happy hour?

They're happy hour deals last 24/7, right now they have penny beer.

Do they have bbq pork rice noodles?

I don't believe so. But they have something similar -- their ramen noodle dish.

We walked in a weekday night and found the dining area quite small and full, except for their final open table next to the entrance. We almost left but decided to tough it out. Our server was attentive and friendly and our order came out quite quickly. We ordered a few specialty rolls like their sweet potato roll, dragon roll and caterpillar roll. I also ordered a salmon sashimi. All of the rolls were well presented and best of all, tasty! It's not near the best sushi I've had, but it filled the craving we had. The wall murals and decor were simple but classy. We also noticed the noise level was good despite many people in a small space. Overall, this is a nice little neighborhood spot for sushi and worth a visit!

I figured a Sunday afternoon would be calm, so I decided to pop in for a solo lunch. What I Ordered: - Yuzu Mule: The drink was delicious and refreshing, so I ordered a second one. Definitely order if I return as well. - Hamachi Lime Roll: This roll had an odd texture to me, and ultimately, I grabbed the rest to go as it was a little off putting to me. The flavor was decent though I found myself wishing there was more crunch with tempura flakes or panko bread crumbs on top. - Crazy Roll: The winner between the two rolls in terms of flavor and preference. Though, I wish this roll had the spicy mayo the other one had. I'd definitely order again and ask for a side of spicy mayo that I could add to the roll. Love the soy paper option! As for ambiance? I thought country music was an incredibly odd choice for this establishment hence the 4 stars versus 5 star review. I'd prefer more traditional Japanese music, or heck, even some J-Rock over American country music. I'm guessing Sunday afternoon is a slower time, so it was employee choice. Overall, I'd visit again when in the area and recommend to friends/family.

Course 3: Ocean Trout Mi-Cuit/ okinawa potato croquette / citrus cream/fried capers / crispy salmon skin. I love the cream and the capers in this dish. The fish is seared. Although not much flavor in the fish itself but because of the sauce, it complements the dish well. Course 4: Dessert - Yuzu Lychee Sorbet/vanilla whisky hojicha granita. Oh my gosh, this is my favorite dish! It was so good and refreshing! The yuzu sorbet was tart and creamy. And the hojicha ice underneath was delicious! She was super attentive too and kept refilling our drinks throughout the meal. We tried a mix of specialty rolls and more basic rolls. Most of the specialty rolls were around $15 each, while the basic rolls were under $10. The spicy tuna rolls were especially good for the price because they were cheap, but still came out huge. Overall the portions were very generous and the prices weren't bad at all. I got the Hell Fire roll and it definitely lived up to the name. I handle spicy food really well and even for me this thing was extremely spicy. It was almost painfully hot, but honestly I kind of enjoyed the challenge, It was also really good besides just being spicy, so I'd definitely get it again. The inside also had a cool vibe with all the colorful lighting and it wasn't too busy when we went which was nice. Most of our sushi came out almost immediately. The fried rolls understandably took a little longer since they had to be made fresh. My only small complaint is I wish everything would of came out closer to the same time, because some of us already had food while we were still waiting on the fried rolls. Overall, really good food, huge portions, fair prices and great service, definitely a spot I'd come back to.

We arrived a little early, so they told us we could sit at the bar & have a drink. We sat there for 15+ minutes & the girl getting things ready for the bar totally ignored us. Right before we were seated someone else took our drink order & said she'd bring them to the table. Hubby got a beer & I got a Tito's & cranberry juice. We ordered an appetizer. While we were waiting they sat another 4 with us. We all expected dinner & a "show", but none of us expected the show we got. One of the staff started screaming at another staff member. We had no idea what the female staff member was saying since her words were not in English. She was so loud & screaming in the bar area so the entire restaurant could hear her. A couple of staff members tried to claim her dow. This went on for several minutes. It was crazy. All us customers were silent & just looking at the girl screaming & yelling. The next thing we know, round two. It was unbelievable. What was even crazier was they didn't send the staff member home! No one came over & said a word. No one apologized or said anything. After all of this, they sat couple with us. Finally the chef came to the table. By this time it was 20 til 6:00. Hubby got the filet with fried rice. I got the shrimp with fried rice. The food was good. However, hubby's steak was over cooked. Thankfully, hubby told the chef he wanted to change the steak from medium to medium rare, or it would have been even more over cooked. I also watch all of the employees but one prepping the food without gloves. This used to be our go to place for, but now with all this issues this time, we will probably have to find a new place.

The restaurant is fairly large, and seems like a lot of people like coming here for family/friend dinners. Like the name insists, the teppanyaki is the way to go. Their menu isn't that large, so it was pretty easy to make a decision. I opted for the filet mignon (rare) along with shrimp. Teppanyaki is really more of a show/experience, so the food comes out to you in sections (versus all at once like at a traditional restaurant). The filet was so soft, and was perfectly rare, and the shrimp was so good. I think in the future I'd eat a whole plate of shrimp. I also got to try the yakiniku, and that was also pretty good but very sweet. Their Boo Yah Ka roll was also pretty yummy. It's essentially a spring roll, but with some spice and citrus to it. I felt that the portion was good for a large meal, but my friend who got the chef's combo definitely had enough for leftovers.
