Came here in an hour lunch break and had all you can eat sushi. Delicious! Enjoyed myself. Cool place and quick service.

Stumbles onto this place after a long day of travel! The building can be deceiving but when you walk into Sakura, what a beautiful sight. First, the people were delightful. Ordering was easy and the food came out so quick! Of course, it's an all you can eat so we ordered a variety of things. All delicious! My favorite was the sashimi, which was so fresh. It was only 30.99 per person for dinner and well worth the price! Try it! We're considering going back for lunch!

Really great prices, the food is always served very quickly and tastes very fresh, and service is very friendly and checks in on you often.

This place is tucked away at the end of a strip mall with Target. There's plenty of parking. At lunchtime it's $19.99 all you can eat (in 2 hours). Lots of booths for parties of 4-6 and some table that can be pushed together to accommodate larger groups. The dining area is clean with numerous TVs to watch while you eat. Xia was our server. He took great care of us while we dined! It was fairly busy (maybe 75% full) but the service and food were top notch! My favorites were the Las Vegas and Out of Control rolls. Going to try the udon and soba when I return!

Dinner with ayce apps, teriyaki, rice, noodles, udon, sushi, sashimi, and rolls. Decent selection and quality for $30.99. Sign on door shows new name: makoto. Would definitely recommend. Five stars. Gold roll and one below it with tuna were my 2 favorite rolls. The teriyaki salmon was excellent along with salmon roe sashimi. Salmon skin hand roll was also great. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time visiting previously called SAKURA Sushi, now MAKOTO Sushi the all-you-can-eat restaurant is very reasonable price, food was good and the restaurant was very nice the painting on the wall were very beautiful and everyone was friendly, but the most important thing was the service and servers were amazingly efficient we never had to for a waitress they were on top of it. I recommend Makoto Sushi all you can eat sushi to all

Been a while since I had last come here. This then we ordered a lot, it's definitely a great value for the price. Service is fast and they don't really delay things and keep checking in on you. The sushi this time, I felt in some of the rolls the portions were slightly lesser or thinner cuts. But however considering the value , it's definitely worth the price. Towards the end I even tried their ice cream. The green tea is an interesting flavor. First time trying, and I really liked it. The pork cutlets is pretty good as well. In terms of the sushi quality, id have given it a lower rating. But purely in terms of value for money I gave it full 5/5. But in the past I remember the sushi quality being better. Hope it was a one of experience

My husband and I were craving sushi so we decided to check this place out on a Sunday. Come hungry! The menu is great- they had everything from a wide variety of tempura, salad, sashimi, hand rolls, specialty rolls, ice cream. My favorites were the miso soup, crab tempura, and the specialty rolls. You can go wrong with any of the orders. Our orders came out fresh and in good timing. Our waitress was good and kept our orders coming. I'd come back again.

A new family favorite. I have come across Sakura sushi many times while looking for places to dine at in our area but I never knew they had AYCE! The reviews were promising so we tried it, multiple times now. The restaurant is big so it can accommodate a good number of diners at the same time. Service is attentive and food does come out pretty quickly, even when they are busy. We've been there only on weekends so far and only had to wait a bit for our sushi rolls once. We also got seated immediately in all 4 times that we have been there. I do not eat raw sushi (my husband does) so anywhere we go, we order mostly cooked and maybe 1-2 raw rolls. They had multiple great tasting cooked rolls and my husband enjoyed a couple of nigiris and raw fish rolls. They have a lot of appetizers, salads, noodle dishes, rice and soups to choose from. Ambience is average with tvs and it's not too loud even when the restaurant is busy. It's about $30 per person which is a great deal with all the good food you can get. We have become regulars here.

Our server was attentive, happy hour was good and everything came out quickly. The cucumber salad was super refreshing and gyoza were yummy with a delicious sauce. The spice levels felt pretty accurate, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the meat was tender, and the noodles had a great texture. Each bowl had its own flavor profile, but both were equally delicious. We also tried the takoyaki (octopus balls). I was already getting full, so I wasn't as excited about them, but my boyfriend described them as a BBQ pancake bite. Overall, this is a great spot for ramen. I did notice the music was all girl bands and no boy bands. Clean restaurant, good service, flavorful food, and a fun atmosphere. I'd definitely come back.

Rolls are smaller and taste like grocery store sushi rather than quality restaurant sushi. The sauces are different and used way more sparingly, the cuts of the ingredients are inconsistent. I ordered both and I honestly couldn't even finish the Baja roll. Cheap fish, canned fruit, almost no sauces. I'd honestly rather pay $25 a roll to have the old rolls back rather than these new versions. Sadly, I probably won't ever return unless they go back to the old level of quality for their rolls. Reviews are very good and so we gave it a try on a Saturday evening. When we arrived there were 2 people eating at the sushi counter, otherwise it was empty. During our time there another couple came in, so it was not busy and easy to get a table. The server was very friendly and service was great. For that I'll push my rating to 4 stars. For me, this place is personally 3.5/5. Everything was decent but nothing I would rave about. And that might just be me, because people love this place in other reviews. It was possibly just a bunch of little things that made me think it's just okay. I thought the texture of sushi rice was a bit too soft, I know it's sticky rice but I felt like it was a little over cooked and too soft. I also thought both of my rolls tasted exactly the same. Which thankfully I thought were good tasting. The stuffed jalapeños were definitely a miss, they were so under fried so mostly a mush of ingredients in a jalapeño. And initially I liked the karaage but had a couple of tough pieces, so overall that was just okay. Miso soup was solid. And I realize that the appetizers are cooked in the back and not by sushi chef, and people rave about the chef. However like I said, both rolls seemed pretty similar tasting and one was supposed to be more spicy. All very standard flavors, like I would expect from AYCE sushi. I think I'm just looking for more delicate flavors with higher quality pieces of fish. I likely should have tried some of the special items listed on the rotating items board near the sushi bar. Next time we go back I'll try sitting at the sushi bar and trying some speciality items. People have said this is the best way to enjoy this place. We will likely come back during a lunch or happy hour special, if I like it better and I can upgrade my review I'd be happy to give this small, local family run business all the stars.
