Soup and salad came out right away. Appetizers were quick and the entrees were cooked and served quick. So that part was great. Salas had a little more dressing than I expected compared from similar places. But it was good, as was the soup. Surprised they served the soup with a metal utensil, normally the Asian places use a wooden spoon. The Ichiban roll was delicious. A little pricey for a roll though. We had the Hibachi combination dinners. One steak with shrimp and the other steak with scallops. Tasty dishes, but the scallops could have used s as touch more searing and seasoning.

As I drive up to it I got a little concerned as all the parking spots in front were taken. Almost moved on until we saw they had a parking lot off to the side. Pulled in and went inside. We were seated right away after given a few choices of where to dine: hibachi table, booth in bar area or booth in dining area. We chose the dining area which happened to be right next to the hibachi tables so we heard the chef over there as they cooked. They use only one menu which seemed like it was their takeout menu. No real complaints I guess as it did list everything. Our appetizers came out quick and food was good. Although the steak bits seemed a little dry. Liked that they allowed us to swap out the mushroom soup with miso soup. Salad was good, they used a different Asian styled dressing which was tasty. I can't tell you what the inside of the restaurant looks like; we always order to-go, I drive and my partner runs inside to pick it up. He's described it as a "big kitchen behind a counter" so there is likely minimal seating, if any. What I can say is they are always kind and helpful on the phone. They understand what you're asking for (I've been to places where they just want you to list off the item #s from the menu), will answer questions, and even sometimes clarify what you're asking for (my fav is the chicken chow mei fun and they always make sure I know it comes with the thin "spaghetti" noodles (they say that, but it's really thin rice noodles)). The chow mei fun does not contain as many greens as I like (contains shredded carrot, onion, mung bean sprouts, and bamboo shoots) so I always add a package of steamed peas to it which makes the quantity of the food large enough for 2 meals. The egg and chicken in it are plentiful and delicious. My partner goes with the combo General Tso's chicken which comes with an egg roll and pork fried rice, which he loves. I did try crab rangoon from here recently and was not enchanted; it was like a fried pocket full of hot cream cheese. Overall a consistently good to-go dining experience at a fair price. We seated ourselves at a table, we weren't brought set ups (silverware, and napkins) as the hostess promised, and the service was a little slow. We were given menus and our orders were taken quickly. The appetizers came out quick. We decided to try the steamed dumplings, the crab Rangoon, and the Thai chicken lettuce cups. Everything tasted great and fresh. Lunch was Drunken Noodles, teriyaki beef and boneless barbecue ribs, and a lunch, special of salmon and bok choy. The lunches were filling and wonderful. We will definitely be coming back. It was a holiday weekend and we were the only ones dining in, but takeout orders were booming and our waitress (a very friendly and welcoming short Asian woman) was doing an amazing job checking in on us, and running over to the takeout area constantly to give people orders. On that day, I really enjoyed my Miso Soup (a perfect small portion to warm me up) and Teriyaki Tofu, although it came with a ton of onions that I did not care for. It came out sizzling hot and seemed to continue to cook after it was on my table, so the onion flavor became really strong and almost gave me a headache, but I ate around it. The veggies were fresh and the tofu had a great crispy breading on it. The sauce was very thick and a little went a long way - I almost wish it were a little thinner so it could spread more evenly across my food to give it some moisture. Today I ordered takeout online through the Seamless site. It said food would be ready in 10-15 minutes, which felt crazy fast. Lo and behold, about 12 minutes after I placed my order, I got a text that it was already ready for pickup! I couldn't grab it until well over 20 minutes had gone by, and even by the time I got home, everything was still perfectly hot and nothing had to be reheated. A young man gave me my order and I was in and out of the plaza in 60 seconds or less, so efficient and no wait!
