Maybe passing by or you work at the military base across the way and you come here for some drinks and shoot some pool vibe. We just stopped in on our way back from somewhere else cuz I found this place on the internet. They have full bar and several drafts. None of the serving staff seemed to know how to do...well...anything. On one visit, I ordered draft beer - pretty basic. After first returning to ask me for a reminder on what drink I ordered, they still brought me the wrong pour, and after what seemed like an excessive amount of time. I was going to order food, but someone at the table next to me leaned over (unsolicited) and told me I'd be better off skipping it. His actual words were "Don't. Save yourself". Yikes. On my other visit, I ordered an old fashioned. Whatever it was that they brought me, it wasn't anything even close, and it was undrinkable. I sent it back, and never saw a server again. On both visits, noone seemed to know how to use the computer system to get me a bill. I will also note that it was very empty there on both occasions. There is nothing I can think of or that I saw to justify or speak to the combination of slow service and level of bumbling chaos that happened. The place was dead. Not sure where the great entertainment guy went - he wasn't there on either visit, and it looked like no fun was being had by anyone. Something changed, folks. I don't know what, but hear me when I say that VIBES ARE OFF big time. In the words of the fella at the table next to me that night: Don't. Save yourself.

It's never really busy when I stop by so it's usually pretty quiet which makes for great opportunities to talk to staff members. They all are so patient, which is appreciated! They have a way to always suggest the best beer depending on what you are in the mood for. All in all, this brewery is a great place to meet up with friends or family.

We had a great girls night here! The place is very LGBT friendly and the people here are also respectful. We went here by accident as we didn't expect that the place we're supposed to be was closed notice. not a good experience is given that we even booked a reservation and it was confirmed. Thanks to Oriental Garden! they saved our night and we have total fun! As for the food, I and my friends liked the plater with mixed chicken, beef and egg roll in it. We initially thought that it was not a good dish to order but we end up adding another plater after we finished the first one. We also liked the spicy seafood noodle, the taste if very asian but we loved it. If I'll be going back here, I would order the spicy seafood noodle again. We also appreciate that this place follows the health and safety protocols. Social distancing is still a must. We sill surely go back here. Thanks for the wonderful experience! read more

I was visiting from LA to see the Alaskan glaciers and stopped by. Was surprised to see so many Chinese restaurants in Anchorage. Oriental Garden is in a nice location of the city and offers easy parking of which I'm always grateful because have-you-been-to-Los-Angeles? Inside, the lights are nicely dimmed and the atmosphere is like any true Chinese restaurant should be. If you're Korean, you'll appreciate the Chinese-Korean fusion food such as their jjamppong (very spicy, but the broth is on point!). If you don't like spicy, you can''t go wrong with any of their wok sauteed dishes. I especially thought their fried shrimp coated in sweet and sour sauce was delicious. If you're looking for delicious and fresh Chinese food, this is the place! read more

Not good. Do not recommend this place at all. Probably the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted. When I arrived the restaurant was completely empty- not even any staff in either the restaurant or bar areas. I stood around for 5 minutes before anyone came out of the kitchen. Still, I wouldn't have really minded if the food had been halfway decent. The Mongolian beef was pale & looked(& tasted) like it'd been boiled, the 'sauce' was like water in the bottom & had zero thickness & didn't stay on the meat. Fried rice was bland & disgusting. I LOVE THIS PLACE! we went there on last midnight and i was so happy that it was still open! When we went in, the waitress was welcoming us and being so friendly to us! Her name was Amy and It was only herself who was working but she did really great job!! She took care of all the tables, Togos and phone calls. I was very happy about her service! You can't go wrong, the food is great, large portions for a reasonable price. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but the interior is a very well laid out modern lounge style. The service is always great plus they have a monthly raffle for $200 & $300; you get a ticket every time you eat. It used to be Casa but the new menu is just as great! I had so much stress in the past few weeks and being alone for a while gives me the time to think of the things I have to focus on and this place helped me with that. Oriental garden, is one of the best Chinese cuisine I've tried. I just ordered some fried rice, bulgogi beef ad wonton soup. The serving is huge as what I think they were very generous with the serving and it's worth the price. Their food, tasty, flavorful, and spicy, if you want that. Hotdogs, hamburgers, basic southwest tacos, cheesesteaks and the usual Chinese Amercian Favorites. I definitely recommend, especially if you are on a budget.
