When they say authentic they truly mean AUTHENTIC. Or at least it was so delicious and matches up to other true Sichuan/szchewan style Chinese restaurants. MUST try. I've been eyeing this spot for so long now. Luckily, I was finally able to try it with my friends. We ordered the food to go, and the ordering process to picking it up was very simple and quick. We ordered the shredded pork in special sauce, fried rice, eggplant, cabbage, and the spicy chicken. I think out of all of these options, I'd pass on the fried rice next time (or maybe choose one that added protein). Still, it was very delicious, and offered a middle ground for everyone in case the food was too spicy. They are Szechuan cuisine, so their foods do have a kick to them. I don't like really spicy foods, and at least the dishes we got, I didn't think they were too spicy. Some had more of a kick than others (I think the eggplant did?), but it was all tolerable overall. I'd say a hot cheeto is spicier than the food, but it's still a noticeable presence as it builds over time. I would order the spicy chicken and eggplant again for sure, and would come back to try the mapo next time. I think for the quality, efficiency, price, and how late the restaurant is open, this place gets an A+ in my books! read more

Ordered via UberEats and had a great experience with food being done as predicted! Ordered the delicious fried rice, boiled fish with veggies, and dumplings with chili sauce. Everything was good and as expected although the rice was a little salty and didn't have much in it for being $14.99. Boiled fish with pickled veggies was flavorful and spicy. Wish they took out the sichuan peppercorns out so we wouldn't have to spit those out. Tip: save the soup for the next day and boil some noodles with it for noodle soup! This place might look a little sketchy from the outside, but the second you walk in, you're hit with an aroma that makes your stomach do a happy dance. I've had the Chongqing Spicy Crispy Chicken with Chili before, and let me tell you, it was freakin' amazing! This time, I decided to switch it up with General Tso's Chicken and grabbed some Chicken Fried Rice for later (because, hey, who doesn't love leftovers?). The General Tso's had just the right kick, and it's hands down the best Chinese food I've had in the valley so far. These guys really know how to pack in the flavor. We ended up with the cucumber with garlic sauce, chili oil fish (water boiled fish), pan fried spicy pork belly and eggplant with green beans. Everything was superb and we all left with full bellies. OK, where do I even start, this place is truly authentic. Sichuan style at its finest. From the sour numbing soup to the spicy beef with jalapeño. This place has it all and they even have American Chinese dishes for my kids although I make my kids eat everything. Their fried donuts were probably the best ones I've had. I've been telling everyone about this place lately! My husband and I came here and tried the Spicy Crispy Chicken. It's SO good and so flavorful. It is very spicy though if you get it ordered as is. (I will admit though that I'm a baby when it comes to spice haha. My husband loves spicy food, but even he said there was a kick to it.) We also got the Pan-Fried Spicy Pork Belly and the Mapo Tofu. Everything was delicious! I also ordered a to-go order of the Spicy Crispy Chicken for my mom because I thought she'd like it. She did! Both my husband and my mom said that if they have to choose, they liked Original Cuisine's Spicy Crispy Chicken better than Chou's Kitchen's version (Szechuan Chicken). Chou's isn't spicy, so it's a touch more palatable for me, but I may need to come back and try Original Cuisine's mild version. But can't go wrong either way! Love authentic! And this place is. Wouldn't walk in if it wasnt suggested that we try. The outside building is bare/sketchy to say the least. The inside is big with many big tables but paint peeling walls and the bathroom was quite dirty. Didn't get a good vibe. The menu had brains, gizzards, tongue intestines, liver, kidneys and then for the less risky: sizchuan pork, cumin beef was flavorful, steamed bok choy was just that and the dumplings were steamed in a delish chili oil. We didn't eat the twice cooked pork because the pork was pork belly, of which the menu didn't say. Oh, one more thing, i was given a rose for Mother's Day. A very nice touch. Szechuan is one of my family's favorite cuisines and we've been on a hunt for a good Szechuan restaurant since we moved here over a year ago. Luckily for us, we found Original Cuisine! I stopped by one weekday afternoon to get dinner to-go. It was mid afternoon; after their lunch rush, but before the dinner, so during their slow part of the day. The staff greeted me as soon as I entered. I let them know I wanted to order takeout and they directed me to the counter. The restaurant is very open and offers plenty of seating. I ordered our family favorite, mapo tofu and Original Cuisine's best seller, the spicy crispy chicken with crispy pepper, which the staff recommended. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. I was probably in and out in under 15 minutes. The mapo tofu was flavorful and had the right amount of kick. I didn't try the spicy crispy chicken, however, my family really enjoyed it. So we had a great meal here. I will say it is very non American Chinese food. However, they do have some things you would expect at a more American Chinese food place. I like the menu, which had pictures and descriptions. The staff speaks limited English, so kinda point to what you want and don't ask too many questions. The pork Belly app was not my favorite, but my husband liked it - the texture is soft, and it is not a cured or smoked pork belly like I was expecting. The chef special hot pot soup had everything under the sun in it and lots of things. I have no idea what they were, but it was very good. I would go back to try the different menu items. AUTHENTIC! I came for a birthday party, and we sat at the awesome large table with the middle spinning section, where all the dishes are placed and it spins so that people can grab what they want. Due to food allergies between me and my boyfriend, we ordered our own dishes instead of sharing with the group just to ensure we could eat what we got, so I unfortunately did not get to try everything. We had a Chinese girl in our group who helped order all the best Chinese dishes. I ended up getting the Pan Fried Shredded Beef with Green Pepper for my entrée. It was good, but even though it had 1 chili next to it indicating spice level, I didn't think it was spicy at all. This dish was good, but very basic. Get this if you're afraid to venture out, haha! For some sides we got the Dumplings and the Wavy Fries. Dumplings were SO GOOD! One order came with 9 of them, a really great amount! The sauce was dripping off and it was delicious. The Wavy Fries were SO BEAUTIFULLY SPICED! Although, they should have been crispier. They weren't crispy at all so it felt more like spiced potatoes rather than fries. These were super spicy, but amazing. I'll be back, I want to try more of the obscure dishes! Based on what the larger group ordered, they were big fans of the Ribs (which were soft and fell off the bone) and the Grilled Fish on skewers. The menu has many interesting and unique items such as rabbit, bullfrog, beef brain, tripe and chicken feet to name a few. You can be totally adventurous.... or not. They do have "American food" such as general tso's chicken, etc. Our server was great at guiding us to some dishes to try and we settled on the stir fried green beans, crispy spicy chicken, beef in dry pot and pork ribs. 5 stars only for the food! We are a regular here. We often come around 8:45 pm for dinner so that we can enjoy the normal menu for dinner and then BBQ menu later after 9:15 pm. I am glad we have a midnight diner in town to grab northeastern Chinese cuisine. The customer service is decent. However, the floors and tables are sticky, they definitely need a clean up. Management pls take a note! The food is bomb. The spicy Szechwan chicken, fries, fried spring beans, mapu tofu is amazing. Their house fried rice is super delicious too. We always get the scallion spam wraps for appetizers. They are so yumm. For BBQ menu, we always go for corn, sausages, lamb, and wings!
