    Fresh coffee.

Consistently good service and good food. We went in for brunch during the week. Polish French toast is excellent. This was my first time having it and honestly was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful it is. I at the majority of it without syrup, and it didn't really need it. So if you like good service, good food, good coffee, I recommend you stop in.

Went about 745 am on a Tuesday, there was no wait and several open tables. The person I was with got an Apple Waffle they found it absolutely amazing. There were several pieces of apple throughout the waffle, the syrup wasn't even necessary. They definitely recommend getting this if you are interested. I got the French toast, which was fine. It was made on French Bread which made it a little chewy. I've been here a few times and this is the only thing I would not recommend. It wasn't bad, but everything else is better. Overall, I would recommend this place as it is one of my favorite breakfast places.

Had a great breakfast here on Saturday. The team was friendly and we were seated right away. The AC also felt great since it was quite warm outside. The 4 of us ordered breakfast even though it was after 12. Carrie took great care of us! I had a Greek omelette and blueberry pancakes with a side of real maple syrup for a small up-charge (worth it). Everything was delicious and Carrie kept up with my coffee refills. My son is at UB so we will be back!

Love pancake house. The only reason for 4 stars in stead of 5 is that they use peanut oil for everything so its kinda limits you. The waitress was extremely nice and had them clean of the grill and avoid peanut oil for the pancakes which is extremely thoughtful and just going way above and beyond. So thank you for that! Ambiance in here is super cozy. Food tasted great. I just wish that peanut oil wasn't so hard to avoid!

This place is at the top of my breakfast list, especially with their delicious Dutch baby pancake. Pairing it with a coffee or tea in the cool, relaxing atmosphere and excellent service makes it an absolute must-visit!" Coffee Tea

Server: Cheryl, she was great, really knew her stuff. She was fast paced and on top of it, I liked that about her and her service. Two Eggs Sunny side up As expected. Can't really rate an egg. They were indeed sunny side up. Corned beef hash 10/10 Kyles rating. He says it's homemade, delicious flavor, fresh tasting, good amount of salt/seasoned well. I tried a bite. I don't like corned beef cash but it was not bad, I would eat this. Good corned beef flavor. Potato pancakes 10/10 Fluffy, crispy edges are fantastic, if you've never had a potato pancake, the texture is a little strange, like super tiny chopped potatoes. But they were equally good when dipped in ketchup, applesauce, or sour cream. Eggs Benedict 6/10 It's just okay. I don't really recommend it. Wouldn't order again. The eggs were poached fine. Ham was bland, Hollandaise was bland too. I definitely think it was made from one of those packets, definitely does not taste homemade. The whole thing just lacked flavor and needed salt. After the first bite I immediately wished I had ordered something else. Home fries 2/10 They were over cooked, not even crispy, just hard and weird. They look burnt somehow but didn't taste burnt? Not a fan.

I've been to the Pancake House on Main St in Williamsville many times but this was the 1st time at this location. The inside is much more open than the other location and has a huge parking lot. Both pluses. Coming here I never think of the normal bacon and egg type of meal. Today I ordered the seafood crepes that came with potato pancakes which is a regular side for many of their dishes. The crepe was loaded with nicely cooked shrimp. It also had imitation crab meat and clams which I actually didn't taste much of. The sherry wine sauce was the perfect creamy topping. I also enjoyed my crispy non greasy potato pancakes. My friends ordered one of their specialties, the apple pancake. My husband ordered the placek french toast. Everything seems to be enjoyed by all. Our server was excellent, coming over at all the right times when I needed more coffee. Much appreciated. Side note, an order of 4 slices of bacon was over $7! I knew the cost of bacon was up but that's the 1st of seem it on a menu lately. Nothing against the restaurant, just an observation. 2021-172

Chocolate chip pancakes and side of bacon

My friend and I met for breakfast this morning at the original house of pancakes! We both were feeling some chocolate chip pancakes and what better place to go than the pancake house! The service was so great, as soon as we walked in we were sat at a table in the dining room. I ordered a Coffee and every time the wait staff walked by, they topped my cup off. I have never even finished a cup of coffee I think because they kept refilling it! That was great because at least I never ran out of coffee which is a must in the mornings for me! The pancakes came out loaded in chocolate chips which I drenched in syrup! I ordered a side of bacon which was perfectly crisp and cooked just to my liking! The restaurant was your average diner/family style restaurant that reminded me of when I was a little girl having sleepovers and my nanas house! It gave me the cozy family style feel that made me feel like I was just at home! It was a perfect place to catch up with a friend I haven't seen in a while! I will definitely be back for more breakfasts in the future!

Ham and mushroom crepes - special order
    Jennifer R.

What can I say about this place, it's a chain but it's also a classic! I always end up getting some of the same things when I come here, the Dutch baby, the Swedish crapes, or the now-removed-from-menu ham and mushroom crêpe. By the way, ask for this when you come in,sometimes they can still make it and it is wonderful. They need to re-add it to the menu! On this visit, they were fairly short staffed but the one waitress and hostess were doing a great job trying to keep up with everything. The dutch baby is a work of art and so delicious, and the crepes made at original pancake house are somehow hearty and delicious while retaining that light thin texture. I will always be back!

Cooked perfect. My husband was weary about the egg but he actually loved it. Good burger! Pimento Mac & cheese 8/10 Wasn't my favorite. I didn't love the consistency of the cheese sauce. Sides: Mac and Cheese very good. Creamy and also with a nice kick. Sweet potato fries perfect. The honey dipping sauce very tasty. Tried the "sweet corn pudding". Interesting. Cornbread stuffing and corn. Might make for Thanksgiving. Cornbread a bit too smooth, more cakey than coarse. Wife had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and Honey Poppyseed Coleslaw. The sandwich was huge. It looked great. She enjoyed it. They were fairly busy for a Tuesday, hoping that's a good sign.

The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

Tables were too close, people are way too loud. I can't eat in loud surroundings. I don't like that, and it was so hot in there that it made me very uncomfortable. I believe all restaurants and bars, etc. should be air-conditioned and make people comfortable. If they're too cold, they can always put on a jacket but when you're too hot, I can't take much off. I ordered the roast beef on Weck and fries instead of potato chips. I was very satisfied it was delicious. Very expensive, I found everything was very expensive on the menu, but if you want good food, I guess that's what you gotta do is pay more. Jim ordered mild wings, they still looked good even though I'm a hot wing person. I was looking at everybody else's huge plates of wings that were coming out and they looked so amazing. I'm definitely gonna get some to take home some time. Anyway, the wings looked good smelled good, Jim said they were very good, my sandwich was good. The fries were good, the waitresses were nice so the service was pretty good. But again too small, too loud, too hot, and those things just don't make me happy. I probably would go in there again and eat if somebody else wanted to, but I'd rather take my food to go next time. One other issue I had is definitely the restroom. That had to be the smallest stall I have ever been in. Anytime I moved I banged into one of the walls. They have two stalls in there, which to me is definitely not enough when you're serving "spicy hot " food. At one point there was five people in the restroom. Luckily, I just had to wash my hands in that visit. But the restroom is way too small and when I talk to Jim about the ladies room, he said the men's room is super small too, so they're probably about the same size. So that was definitely a negative thing for me was the restroom.
