Mmmm...chili cheese fries! I don't get out here too often, I only stop in when I am on my way back from wine tasting in Temecula. I normally just want to get home, so I get it to go and eat it 20 miles later. Throw it in the microwave for about 1 minute and it's just as good as eating it in house. I like getting the #2 - chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries. It's a lot and I don't finish all of it, but I like having both items. I did stop by this past weekend and get some to go...and when I got home and tried the burger the meat tasted kind of funky. I ended up tossing it out. I have never had that happen, so I am hoping this place isn't starting to go downhill. Good thing I had the fries too, they ended up being my dinner. I'll probably be in Temecula again next month, so I will have to try the burger again and update my review. read more

Tommy's is a classic. I don't know if the youth these days can hang, but this joint is what we grew up with in the 80's and 90's. The chili is thick as hell, the cheese is gooey, and the fires are crispy. Don't forget to ask for the hot peppers! Brings me back to the ol' days! My food came out quick and the tamale and fries I ordered came out fast and hot. No complaints with this location. read more

Don't order from DoorDash for this location... and don't complain if something's wrong. I got my order delivered to my work, and when it arrived there were two USED fake eyelashes in the bag. I was DISGUSTED. I called to make the restaurant aware. The manager picked up and was VERY rude and DID NOT CARE about what I was saying. It really sucks because this is my first time ordering from this burger place and I was so excited and the experience could have been saved by CUSTOMER SERVICE. Something as small as him saying "I'm sorry and thank you for brining this to our attention I will investigate so it doesn't happen to someone else" but instead, I got "well I'm the manager and I put the order together so...." Went there last night around 7:30 pm. I had looked at the line at In-N-Out across the street and decided to give Tommy's a try because they only had 3-4 cars ahead of me. I ordered combo #1 and then waited and waited. Each of the 20-25 cars across the street at In-N-Out were serviced before I sort of got my order. I was handed my drink and a few minutes later, the burger but I had to remind the employee I'd ordered a combo to get the fries! Why is this place ALWAYS so slow ? I've been waiting in line now for half an hour for a simple order of french fries. Unacceptable!

I would give them 1/4 star if I could. Do not order from this location via Door Dash, Grub Hub, Uber Eats or any other service. I ordered through Door Dash and their service was excellent. However, Tommy's made my order wrong. Their printed receipt attached to my bag was correct but 2 of my burgers were totally wrong. I called Tommy's right away, to find out how to resolve the issue and get the food I ordered. Right away the man on the phone said they didn't get it wrong and said it was Door Dashes fault. I had to explain 4 times that their receipt attached to my sealed bag was correct and that the food in the bag was wrong before he understood, then he proceeded to cus me out and tell me I needed to call Door Dash cause it is there fault and he wasn't going to do anything about. What a jerk, I wouldn't recommend ordering from them them at all. And to the man on the other end of the phone, you suck. read more

Worst service ever. We were in line for over 30 minutes and once it was time for us to order, she kept telling us one moment we had to order two times because she forgot it the first time we told her. We were waiting to order for at least 10 minutes then we get to the window and we're still waiting another 10 to 15 minutes to get our food. every time I go there it's the same thing they take forever to give us our order even if there's no one there, but this time it topped it. They should hire more people if they need more help. read more

Lunch time through a drive thru at most places is to be a not so perfect experience because everyone is rushing from the customer to the employees. It's very pleasant to get good quality service from the moment they greet you to the time you receive your order and most importantly to getting home and passing out the food realizing everything is correct and easy to identify. Thank you to Jacob for being so professional and going over my order to ensure me everything was there when he handed it to me with a smile on his face. You never know why customers are in a rush and in my case I was on lunch time, have two babies at home and a sick parent who I was trying to get a quick bite for. I really want to like this place because the staff is super duper nice, but this is the second occasion I've come here and ordered a regular hamburger and ended up driving away with a chili burger. The service is good and the kitchen is super fast. The food, however, tastes bland and the chili ehhh. I haven't tried another Tommy's though so I'm not sure if it's just the location or if I legitimately don't like Tommy's. Nothing better than a Tommy's chili burger late at night or for breakfast. Also, most appreciative that they are open on Christmas Day. This location is always nice and clean. I wrote the above review a year or two ago. When I visit Southern California from Seattle, I always go to Tommy's. The Corona location is my favorite. Antonio and his staff are always friendly, the restaurant clean, and the burgers, etc. fantastic. Though the Beverly & Rampart location is special, the Corona location is my go-to Tommy's. I actually consider myself to be a HUGE Tommy's fan, but as much as it pains me, 3 stars is all I can muster for this place. I can't quite put a finger on it, but for anyone who has been at the Beverly and Rampart location, this place just isn't up to snuff. The flavor of the chili just seems rather generic, like something you would get out of a can. Actually, the whole burger was just a huge letdown, like they are just phoning it in. Will definitely never be visiting any other Tommy Burgers. It's been over 10 years since I've visited a Tommy's - didn't like it before and I still don't like it. Meat's dry and patties are small and chili just tastes sooo bland. There's no flavor here. Not sure what all the hype is about but Tommy's is a no-go for me. I'll stick to In-N-Out across the street. Date of service - 7/18/17 Tommy's is absolutely delicious and the food deserves a 5 star. I only dropped it down to a 4 because of the poor service. It took over 10 minutes to cook a burger. I grew up going to the Tommy's in LA and was excited to learn there was a Tommy's in my new home town. However, the food here is terrible and disappointing... Ive given this Tommy's countless chances hoping 1 day the food will get better but the chile taste very generic and old as if it were sitting in the pot for a couple of weeks. Service is great and cleanliness is okay but the food makes the restaurant... and the food here is definitely not up to par. Please Corona Tommy's Owner, make some changes and I promise I will give it another shot!!! Including rewrite a better review.... I just need it to taste FRESH. read more
