I love Orleans & York! I always go to this location in Carson. I got it delivered from DoorDash this time around. I typically get the fried catfish platter. The fish is fresh and fried to perfection. Seasoned very well. It comes with a side of seasoned fries and coke slaw. The fries are top tier, delicious. Not a big fan of their tartar sauce. I've also had their fried shrimp and fried salmon before, and they're both really good. Kinda pricey, but they give you a lot of food. I always have left overs for the next day. Been to two different locations and the quality has been consistently good. Staff is also friendly here which is great. This is my first time leaving a review at this place, but I have been a few times. I have decided that the food is mediocre, but the desert is definitely something that I return for. Don't get me wrong the food is good, but I wouldn't make any extra trips for it. I ordered the gumbo and rice and it's a little different from normal gumbo, but has decent flavor. I also tried the fried salmon platter, I have come to the conclusion the same and just doesn't need to be fried. I've had the chicken strips and the fried catfish both of those were decent. Now where I will spend time raving about is the desserts. The peach cobbler is on point! Have you ever have a peach cobbler that doesn't have enough crust/breading. You're not going to get that with his peach cobbler, there is so much crust and almost no peaches in the juice. But the crust is so good! I also have tried the strawberry lemonade cake and the pecan crunch cake both of those are very good! I don't think that you can go wrong with any of the desserts they have to offer. I will continue to try the food on the menu, but best believe I'll be back for some more peach cobbler! read more

Not bad. Kinda quells a Cajun craving. The Catfish Po'boy is nice. A good, golden fry with even breading on tender filets. Plenty of it packed into a soft sub. The Shrimp Po'boy is better pan-grilled...better for you at the very least. Some seasoning on some pan-grilled shrimp. They're not my first choice for Cajun, but they're not really not bad. They'll satiate a craving, and the quality seems consistent so grab a sandwich if you're in the mood. read more
