I was craving ramen and ended up checking out Osaka since we're always on the hunt for new ramen spots. First impressions: it felt very authentic with a cozy, welcoming vibe. You walk up to the counter to place your order, and they bring the food out to your table. The space is on the smaller side, so it's not ideal for large parties, but everything was very clean and well-kept. The menu is pretty extensive, so I'd recommend looking it over ahead of time if you can. They have a variety of drinks to choose from. We ordered the Hot Miso Ramen, and it was delicious! It was flavorful and served in generous portions. Overall, a great experience, and I'll definitely be back to try more items from the menu. read more

This was the new restaurant to try and I love me ramen but I don't get it too often because it's not plentiful like Mexican and Chinese restaurants. The place is on the small side with a decent amount tables for its size. It's in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It's not exactly a full service restaurant because all they do is take your order and bring the food to the number on the table. Drinks, carry out containers, forks, napkins etc is self service in the hall. I was going big or go home and I ordered the most expensive ramen on the menu which was beef rib just because I don't remember ever seeing it on a ramen menu and an order of pork egg rolls. My food came quick and it looked amazing but I noticed no soy sauce for my egg rolls any where to be found, that's all I like in my egg roll. The egg rolls were hot with a very crispy shell and a good pork flavor because it had more pork in them than most pork egg rolls. The beef rib ramen looked amazing with a cloudy broth. The broth has a good depth of flavor with a little heat and not like the thin broth you get in Pho. The noodles were cooked perfectly Al dente, not mushy at all. The beef rib was fall of the bone and very tender. Overall this is probably the best ramen that I have had so far and I like the many varieties they offer which makes them stand out over the other ramen places. read more

Very good first visit. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen. The broth was very close to what I expected, milky texture but I thought needed more seasoning. Noodles were perfectly cooked, although they didn't hold the flavor of the broth. The pork was very tender and tasty, and the veggies and Nori were on point. Came here for a first visit this past Sunday night with my boyfriend and his parents! We got there at about 6:30 and this place was jam packed! Which was a good sign for the food, but unfortunate for us because there wasn't anywhere to dine-in. We decided to order takeout! Food was done fairly quickly, and the cashier staff was very attentive and patient with us! The menu is large with lots of options, and we were provided with smaller handheld menus so that we could view everything and take our time to decide. I did notice while waiting for our food that there weren't any staff members in the eating area wiping down tables after people left. This is definitely the type of place where you order, sit and eat, and get out. Very similar to eating inside of a McDonalds or Culver's, you get your number, you wait, eat, leave. Which is cool I guess, but a bit messy when it's so busy, like how it was that night. I ordered a small plate, the gyoza appetizer. There was only one option for preparation on this dish which is deep fried. I like pot stickers (gyoza) any style so this wasn't an issue just an observation (i feel like normally you can choose between steamed, pan fried, deep fried- most other places). I found the Gyoza to be really good, flavorful and well cooked. However the dipping sauce is not a traditional ponzu and is honestly quite overwhelmingly salty. I was also hoping to pair this with a small cup of Miso Soup which they do not have on the menu. ); My boyfriend ordered the Spicy Miso ramen, and didn't care for it too much. The broth and noodles were very similar to Pho, rather than traditional ramen, with a sweet and spicy flavor. The meat ended up being ground meat rather than a slab or shreds, making the texture not really enjoyable. The to-go packaging for the ramen was cute but honestly really messy and not very secure. The broth and fillings were so full, we couldn't help but spill when opening it up. All in all I would love to come back and try more, during a less busy hour. So me and my Hubby had date night last night, we were looking at a few places to go to and landed on this one. I saw a lot of the reviews were very positive, I actually had an even better time than the reviews led on! For appetizers my hubby wanted the Golden Tofu since he loves fried tofu because he grew up on it! He said "the tofu is breaded perfectly and was so good!" We also both shared the Chicken Karage which is lightly breaded VERY tender chicken pieces that was seasoned very nicely and came with a delicious lightly sweet sauce! We both got the Beef Gyudon Ramen, which was so creamy and delicious! Oh my goodness! I think this is my new fav type of noodle for ramen noodles! The broth has such an incredible balance and the beef was tender and the mushrooms were a great accent, it also came with bean sprouts, green onion and half a hard boiled egg where the yolk was slightly runny still, all in all a wonderful bowl of ramen! It was SO comforting and you get plenty! Very filling! The only downside I can say was many of the fountain drinks were out of order, the ambience was wonderful and the service was so friendly! He asked multiple times if we liked our food and it was just a wonderful experience! P.s. I forgot to take a picture of the Tofu Anyways 10/10 would recommend and will go again! My husband and I both got the chicken katsu ramen. It was really good! Most of the broths on the menu say that they are spicy, but you can modify and make them non spicy, which is what I did for mine (I'm a wimp). We both loved it and will be back. Not only was it very flavorful, the service was great as well. Everyone was so friendly! Pretty small place so I wouldn't expect enough room for large groups. My boyfriend and I decided to try out Osaka on a whim, and we are so glad we did! The Yakitori Pork Belly melts in your mouth, and the bbq sauce pairs perfectly with it. Our main entrees were amazing, and both of us would highly recommend the Brisket Rice Bowl and the Tan Tan Ramen. The service was great, and the vibe of the restaurant was good. Casual dining spot that is delicious! You first order at the front counter, grab a number, and then sit and wait for them to bring you your food. It is hard to find good ramen in the Milwaukee area. I usually have to travel down to Chicago for authentic ramen. Now I am not saying this ramen was the best I ever had, but I will say it is one of the better places for ramen around the Milwaukee/Brookfield. I am picky about my ramen and typically order tonkotsu, so that is what I ordered when I visited. The food didn't take too long to come out. There was a small group in front of me, but I felt that I got my food in a timely manner. The broth was on point. It was pretty flavorful and rich, which is what I would expect for this type of ramen. The noodles were also good, although I personally prefer the wavy yellow noodles. The chashu was probably my favorite part. It was salty, flavorful, and melted in my mouth. Next time, I will order some extra to go with my ramen. The egg was perfectly soft boiled. Stop what you're doing right now and go check out Osaka in Brookfield! Their food and hospitality were top notch! For me, the star of the show was the beef rib ramen! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the brisket ramen. You can really tell they take the time to roast their meats for hours and hours. So tender and flavorful. The noodles in the ramen also had a superior texture, plus they had all my favorite toppings. We also tried several appetizers including the pork eggs rolls, pork belly yakitori, takoyaki, gyoza, and karage chicken. The egg rolls had a lovely nostalgic taste. The yakitori was divine, probably my second favorite item after the beef rib. The takoyaki and the gyoza are probably the best I've ever had! And the karage chicken was very nice and crispy crunchy. For desserts, we shared a brown sugar boba. The staff were so kind and caring too. We absolutely will be back. I need to try more of their ramens for sure! read more

My husband and I wanted to place a pick up order, but they don't have that option without using Grub hub, Uber Eats, or DoorDash. We don't like to use these services, so we decided to eat in. The employee at the order counter was very polite, and we loved the overall atmosphere. I chose 15% tip on the payment system, which automatically calculated for me; I looked at the receipt later and realized the calculation was done after tax - who wants to tip on tax? NO ONE! Miso Ramen was good; Generous portion with various toppings. Chashu was delicious. I wish veggie toppings were heated because they brought the soup temperature down. Pork Katsu Rice Bowl was a little bit of a disappointment; Katsu was slightly overcooked and dry, and rice was Chinese rice, which is not suitable for authentic Japanese meals. The special sauce for Katsu was OK, but we prefer authentic Tonkatsu Sauce. read more

HORRIBLE! Do not recommend. My husband and I love trying new places and saw this place recently opened up in the teriyaki madness spot. The menu looked good had lots of options. First there is no way to order directly through them online, instead having to order through grub hub, DoorDash or Uber eats, we wanted to pick it up so had to go through grub hub. We ordered a lunch hibachi as we didn't want a ton of food and it was $10 cheaper than the dinner. Husband goes to pick it up and is told the food is ready, BUT we owe another $10 because they don't do lunch on the weekend. One the order went through and 2 no one reached out ahead of time. Husband paid because he just wanted to eat. Gets home with the food and it is bland, hibachi steak was advertised as hibachi filet, it was so tough. Broccoli in the veggies were white and looked like they were starting to go bad. Husband said his food also was bland and had no flavor. I really try to give places a chance, so I contacted the restaurant directly, and their only response was they would remake our order. I do appreciate the gesture, but my stomach already hurts and the whole order was bland, so I really don't think remaking will make things any better. No real focus to their menu being off, in fact it sounded like they knew about it and had not addressed it.
