    Garlic Edamame. Absolutely delicious!
    Kathleen K.

The best sushi in town! No seriously, often times I would rather have sushi here in Tooele than drive to SL because it's so much better! The garlic edamame is to die for! Gyoza top tier! I would highly recommend the X-Man or Mexican Crunch rolls. Seating is usually full and cozy, but decorated cute with Japanese lanterns and murals across the walls. Sometimes the wait is long, but you're near other shops to wander around in and the wait is worth it!

After recent news about this place I will no longer be coming here. I'd rather have my food without maggots. This used to be a nice place but has gone downhill and they don't treat people well. It's used to be nice but how it went downhill so fast is crazy. Maybe they need to shut this place down cause it's not up to code.

We've been here a few times since moving to Tooele. Surprisingly good considering we are in the middle of Nowhere Utah lol Osaka has a small sushi bar with some great guys behind the counter. the food is always fresh, and the sushi is always great! The sitting area in the restaurant overall is very comfy and family friendly. I love their Tempura as well as their lunch bento boxes. The staff is always on it and i never hafta wait long for my food. i recommend the Chirashi Bowl. the chef on duty will put together his choice of select fish (cooked and raw), egg and/or fish smelt, all over a bowl of steamed rice and furakake (various seasonings). my absolute Fave!! Pic below!!

(L-R) Teriyaki Beef Roll/Eel Roll/Caterpillar Roll/Rattlesnake Roll Total waste of money!!!

Waitress (Katelin) was the only thing that was good about this place. She was very attentive and has great customer service. Beef Teriyaki Roll - Rice was mushy and beef was chewy. Eel Roll - WTH?! Where is the eel?! Plus the rice was flavorless and some seemed undercooked. Caterpillar Roll - just as bad as the Eel Roll. Zero flavor and eel was almost nonexistent. Rattlesnake Roll - Decent, but not worth the price! I paid $24.25 because it was 50% off Rolls. What a BIG disappointment! I totally wasted my money.

We have been told this place is pretty good and we decided to check them out…read more I'll give our first visit experience as well as our second. First, entering we were greeted by the servers who were smiley and friendly. The restaurant is decent sized and pretty clean. We were a little confused why it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. We were only one of three groups that were eating there. I am gluten free so I'm use to not having a ton of options and usually have to stay away from most of the sauces used but, I was able to order a few roles that are gluten free both naturally and/or after asking to not add a sauce. I was pleased to know they treat gluten free orders very cautiously and carefully. The roles are a good size, the fish tasted fresh and the flavors were great. Aside from the extremely long wait, the food was decent so we wanted to give them a second chance. Our second visit was much better. Greeted kindly again once we entered and sat right away. Our server was attentive and speedy. Our food came at a much better timing and the quality was consistent with our first visit. The prices are average, the quality of the food is good, servers are friendly and it's worth giving a shot

We ordered the orange chicken which came with rice and steamed broccoli and carrots. It was a big portion of chicken. We also got some sushi: golden salmon roll, kill bill roll, flame dragon roll, and Sumo roll. All these varied in taste and had different highlighted attributes. The flame dragon roll comes on fire and gives the salmon a really defined smoked flavor. I really liked that the golden salmon roll had a citrus tone. The kill bill roll had good crunch with the coconut tempera shrimp and some spicy with the jalapeño and cilantro. I really like all of the deep fried rolls but this one was especially good because of the tiger shrimp.

I was amazed by how bustling it was during lunch on a week day, even more impressed by how many office people showed up. I would say it was a good experience but not a personable experience. We got our table, we got our food, we paid the bills. No one would check if there were any special occasions or if the food was okay. Now that I think about it, people who showed up was not for an intimate laid back meal, it was for efficiency. Our large sashini combo was great. The mackerel and tuna tasted fresh, jello-like and octopus was different. The atlantic salmon was ok, not the best I've had, and same for the albacore tuna. Toro and uni nigiri were delicious. Agedashi tofu was average. I prefer lighter batter, but the broth was great. Overall, I would come back for the mackerel/ tuna sashimi and those toro uni nigiris.

We arrived before opening and joined the queue outside since they don't take reservations. This isn't terribly unusual for a sushi restaurant, but a reservation system would still be very welcome for convenience. The restaurant had a fun, buzzy atmosphere and stayed lively throughout our visit. Once we finally made up our minds on what to order, everything came out pretty quickly. Once we dug in, we realized why it was so popular. We tried the sake tataki, aburi gindara, New Zealand salmon sashimi, and albacore tuna sashimi. Everything was fresh and flavorful, but the tuna was the clear standout for me and easily my favorite dish of the night. The umami hit SO hard. Service was great and very attentive, checked on us often throughout the meal, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. They organization was impressive and there is definitely a well-orchestrated network of staff rotating throughout and keeping needs met. Overall, we had a great time. Takashi is popular for good reason, with excellent fish, a lively atmosphere, and attentive service. I would happily come back, though hopefully someday with a reservation instead of standing outside in line! :)

After sleeping with a bucket on one side of my head and a garbage can on the other, this place deserves every last bad review that they will ever receive! Waited nearly two hours for a takeout order. I had absolutely zero issues with that, provided all of my detailed instructions were followed. I explicitly requested if they were going to charge me additional fees after my initial order total then to cancel the ENTIRE order! Not only was I charged additional fees to my credit card after the fact, my instructions weren't even followed! The most expensive item (especially since I was charged almost $5 extra for requesting lettuce) was the Dynamite Poke Bowl with rotten fish, rotten produce, saturated in sauce (that I explicitly requested ON THE SIDE), and most disgusting of all, warm creamy rice that was supposedly in their "homemade cream sauce". Absolutely nowhere in the description of the Dynamite Poke Bowl did it state it was going to have rice or give you an alternative option. Whatever is in that disgusting sauce should be retired and banned from the FDA! The supposed "fish" was all shredded barely there and nevermind I didn't receive the furikake with red onions that I was also charged additional for. The Kimchi was completely sour and opening the lid on the little cup you could smell the foulness. Yes, I did try a bite of everything that I ordered to leave an appropriate review. The Kurama Ebi (prawn) shows up with it's head and shell on which wasn't a big issue because I order seafood boils all the time. However, this poor prawn was all shell, no meat, and was discolored and mushy upon peeling. The Gyutan (beef tongue) was charred aplenty, but still impossible to eat because it was way too chewy and no amount of lemons were going to help it. I really was having a great day and that's why I thought I would be 3 for 3 and try this newer popular sushi restaurant and trust me, the pricey menu items certainly don't achieve the fresh experience that all of us Sushi lovers expect. Will never return and will forever be telling everyone about this horrible waste of time and money experience. And to think I actually left them a tip on top of the overcharges. Ha!

Our waiter Billy was excellent - attentive, and gave us good guidance (and reassurance) on the menu and what we ordered! I started with the cucumber martini, very refreshing. For food, we ordered the crispy tuna tartare, wagyu bruschetta, chiller special roll, and the 2 hand rolls off the specials menu. I want to go back in time and eat it all again. Everything was excellent, but the chiller roll and wagyu bruschetta were at the top of the list. The wagyu bruschetta was the perfect blend of locally made baguette, tender wagyu beef, and drizzled pork butter. The chiller roll (Billy's favorite) was so unique and in the best way. The combination of everything worked together perfectly - including a sliver of lemon on top! Will be a must-go to spot when we are back in town.

The restaurant is located on Main Street and has plenty of space inside since it's two stories. Trish was an excellent host. A member of our group has a sesame allergy and the staff took great care to ensure she had something good (and safe) to eat. I'll definitely be back the next time we visit Park City. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great sushi and service in PC!
